The Mystery Red Umbrella

The Mystery Red Umbrella
Victims

Anna and Barrow immediately ran downstairs. The premonition was that there was someone else in the castle other than them was getting stronger. The sound of the car getting more faintly heard, they dashed down the spiral-shaped staircase quickly. Really tiring.

It feels like flying to quickly arrive and of course so that they do not feel tired like that. Their breath was almost exhausted, the overwhelming fatigue they felt. They had not even started looking for the existence of the box in the old castle but they had already run out of steam.

They ran out after being on the ground floor, swearing Barrow heard because his car was missing. No one just happened to pass by and take his car.

"Damn, my great-grandfather's legacy car is gone!" objurgation.

"Whoever took your car away, I think he's the one who stole the box from us!" said Anna.

"Now how do we get back, Anna?"

"Think of that later, now let's go find that box!" anna said as she patted him on the shoulder.

"We're in again? Are you kidding me?!" barrow didn't believe it. He did not want to go into that terrible castle again.

"Come, Barrow. We can't go back either so we better find the box. Hopefully we find his whereabouts."

"Damn, I really don't want to after what I've been through in there!"

"No need to worry, it won't happen again!"

"Are you sure?" barrow asked, he was afraid of being tricked again.

"Trust me!" Anna stepped back inside, inevitably Barrow followed in her footsteps. If he could choose he really wouldn't.

They went back inside the castle, this time there was no more strangeness. The piano also did not sound. They stepped slowly, walked down the hallway and entered the empty room.

The box couldn't possibly be on top, they would bet the person who stole it couldn't possibly be able to carry the heavy box up.

Flashlights illuminated the dark room, they stepped forward while searching but already some room they entered, they found nothing.

"I think the box has been taken away, Anna. That's why my car was stolen!" said Barrow.

"There's no harm in trying, Barrow. Who knows if we have any clue who took the box. It'll be bright soon, so there's no harm in us trying."

"All right, let's go find it!" said Barrow.

They went back to looking, the unpleasant smell getting smelled. They looked for the source of the smell, the stinging smell that made them nauseous but the more they searched, they found nothing

"Surprisingly, I'm sure the smell is coming from here!" anna said as they were in a room.

"I'm also pretty sure the smell is coming from here!" barrow agreed.

"If so let's find the right one!"

They sniffed the smell of the room, moving forward until they stood in front of an old closet. Barrow and Anna looked at each other, Barrow stepped forward while Anna raised the gun and the flashlight.

Anna gestured to Barrow and at that very instant, Barrow opened the closet door. Such a stinging stench gushed out. Barrow and Anna stepped back while covering their noses. They even coughed until they vomited.

"Damn, what's this smell?' shout Barrow. The smell was like a carcass that had been rotting inside for days.

Barrow stepped closer to the closet, thinking there would be a pile of bodies in the closet but in fact no, he actually found a passageway that went nowhere.

"Anna, there's a passageway!" shout Barrow.

"What?" Anna turned around, and approached Barrow while covering her nose. As Barrow said, there was a passageway inside that closet and it seemed like it was a secret passageway.

"Let's check it out" said Anna. Flashlights illuminate the straight passageway, and they step forward.

The smell of the carcasses was getting out of control, they were trying to hold on and keep moving forward. Anna shot it was the stench of a victim's carcass from a box and she hoped the victim was an animal like the one in Barrow's barn.

Somehow the carcasses were quick to rot, they had no idea. A straight hallway led them into a room so dark. Barrow even gulped and felt goosebumps. The feeling was bad let alone the smell they had previously smelled coming from the room.

"What room is this, Anna?" ask Barrow.

"Let's know, maybe a room for worship!" said Anna.

"I hate this place!" they stepped until they were finally standing in front of a door. Anna and Barrow looked at each other again and they both stepped into the room.

"Whoever, raise your hand!" shouting Barow.

They ran inside while aiming at the firearm but their steps stopped when they found a circle in the middle of the room and there was a star emblem and in the middle there was an animal head emblem. The pentagram has always been used by Satanists. Not only that, the candle lit around the pentagram but what made them surprised was, dozens of girls lying around the pentagram. Surely the girls are no longer alive even some of them have been killing.

"D**it!!!" Barrow came out of the room, his stomach returned nauseous to see the victims who had rotted even some of them had been mobbed by maggots.

"What a damned box!" barrow shouted annoyed. In just one night alone, the box had already taken so many casualties.

Anna looked at the victims, she looked regretful for being late. Somehow the box was looking for a victim but he was sure there was some interference from the person who took the box from him.

Anna crouched down on one of the victims who still looked new, she even held the victim's cold hands.

"I'm sorry, because of me" he said regretfully. Had he not taken the box out of the old house, would all this have happened? Anna even cries to see the innocent victims but if she takes it out or not the box, the box will still take its toll because the resurrection of Mariana is about to arrive.

"The box is gone, Anna," said Barrow, who had returned to check it all out. There was only a body in the room with the pentagram in the middle of the room.

"All my fault, Barrow. All because of my mistake!" anna said, wiping away her tears.

"What's your maxuud??" Barrow stepped closer to him.

"They were victims because of my mistake" he said again.

"Stupid, don't beat yourself up like that" Barrow pulled Anna over and hugged her, "We've been trying to even we almost lost a life but we can't prevent what was supposed to happen. It's not your fault, Anna. So don't blame yourself," comfort him.

Anna nodded, tears removed but she still felt guilty that dozens of girls had to die.

"You smell!" anna said as she pushed Barrow's body.

"Damn it, this stinking place! Let's get out, I'll call the police!"

Anna nodded again, regret filling her heart. The box went missing out of nowhere, they didn't find the culprit either. Whether where the box was but without their knowledge, it would be in the hands of the pure descendant of Mariana.
