026 - Retaliation (3)

A kick landed on his temple and made Arya start to lose balance.

"only this way? I'm really disappointed" said Victor.

Victor grabbed Arya's hand and moments later he lifted Arya's body into the air and slammed her hard to the ground.

Arya collapsed while groaning in pain, the pain she felt was too painful that she was unable to get up immediately. 

"Arya, I know you're a droplet from one of the knights of light in the prophecy 200,000 years ago," 

"What?!" inner Aryan.

"I've known since I first heard about you, more precisely a year ago. At that time I had the intention to kill you and win the prophecy because at that time I had my powers, while you still had not,"

"So you're the other knight of light, huh?" muttered Arya while trying to get up slowly.

"Yes, you're right. But after I thought it would be very boring because until now I myself am still tied to the damn Witches," he continued.

Their conversation made all the spectators who heard it whisper because they did not understand what they were talking about.

"That is, if I kill you .. then I will win the prophecy?" said Arya who had managed to rise.

"Perhaps, but I'm sorry that I'm the one who's gonna kill you first!" 

Victor clenched his hands and started running to attack Arya while grinning. However, suddenly an iron rod flew and landed between himself and Arya, making Victor's steps stop.

"Stop it right now!" 

Suddenly a thunderous voice sounded from the direction the iron rod was thrown. Quickly all eyes began to point to the origin of the sound and a large man stood outside the crowd with another iron rod in his left hand.

"Rian?" arya muttered in a small voice that Rian could not hear.

"Now everything is gone! Or I'll take you all out!" threatening Rian while pointing his iron rod forward, challenging the existing audience.

"Haa .. There's always a bully, Arya, this time I take it off again. But next time I won't hold back from killing you, remember that!" victor said as he passed away with the spectators who then dispersed following him.

Romi was stunned to see the whole incident. Then, he suddenly remembered his friend Danu and began to set his eyes in all directions to look for him.

"Nu …! Danu …!" romi shouted as he broke through the crowd of spectators who were dispersing from the place.

It did not take long, he finally found Danu who was bowed limp. Romi is about to approach her, but suddenly Alex appears and whispers something into Danu's ear.

Alex realizes Romi's whereabouts and immediately leaves after he finishes whispering something. When Alex was far enough away, Romi immediately approached Danu and ascertained his condition.

"And you! Are you all right?" ask the worried Romi.

Danu did not respond to his question, his gaze looked blank, his body shivered in fear, even his breathing was irregular.

"I-I .. What should I do?" asked Danu while looking at Romi with a very frightened face.

"What do you think, Arya?! Why did you fight with him?!" asked Nanda with a slightly raised tone.

"It takes a reason to beat up a guy like him, huh?" reply Arya.

"No, but why did you go alone? Why are you hiding it from me? Did he tell you that night to come without me?" ask Rian who joined the conversation.

"More or less your words are true, he made me an offer where he wouldn't show up and bother us again if I could beat him," 

"Excuse me …."

Suddenly Bella and Romi emerge from the kitchen carrying drinks and snacks on the tray they are carrying. Very carefully they placed it on the table and then sat down next to Nanda.

"I failed to graduate three times, and you were only once. If it's a trap, at least I didn't get you dragged into it which makes you fail to pass again like me" Arya replied with a downward-looking gaze.

"Whatchu mean? We've been through it together and you want to end it alone?"

"That's enough!" nanda said as he kicked the table hard enough with his right hand.

The atmosphere that had started to stiffen now turned into silence, both Rian and Arya, they did not dare to twitch in the slightest. Rena who had been there could not comment because of her ignorance of the problems they were facing.

"There's no need to discuss that anymore, what we need to discuss now is the effect it has on you, Arya. And the most important thing is how to deal with it, because if you deal with it then there's definitely going to be something bad going on afterwards," 

"May I ask?" sela Rena who has been silent since.

"Yes, please," replied Nanda.

"Who's Vic-"

Braaakk …!!

Instantly Arya kicked the table when she heard the name spoken and went to her room with a look of annoyance. Rian who saw Arya's behavior could only sigh deeply and then drink out his drink which was still on the tray.

"I'm sorry, I'm in a hurry, my working hours are about to start."

Rian was saying goodbye and immediately left Arya's house with a feeling of disappointment.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked that question" said Rena, who felt guilty.

"It's okay, it's not your fault, they will also make up for themselves and you better not say that name carelessly next time," Nanda said.

"Good,"

"Oh yes, actually that person is the sole heir of a wealthy conglomerate and we only found out recently" explained Nanda who answered Rena's question that had been cut off.

"He is the type of person who always does whatever he wants, without wanting to see the impact of his actions on the people around him.

"Last year Arya and Rian were framed by his motorcycle gang. They both finish off the entire motorcycle gang to make them all end up in the hospital. 

"Due to the demands of each parent of the motorcycle gang members, the school decided not to approve them as punishment for their actions" Nanda added, adding to his explanation.

"Then why don't they tell the real story that that person is the mastermind of it all?" ask Rena again.

"Haa .. they have told us about it and we have helped as much as we can to find evidence of the truth of the incident. But all our efforts were in vain. He cut off contact with the bikers and paid them a lot of money to shut up and tell lies,"

"So .. that's why Arya didn't graduate for the third time, huh?" romi.

"Yes, and it looks like this year will be too, too" Nanda replied with a blank look.

"All right, get here! It's almost night, now" Nanda said.

"Yes, thank you so much for stopping by" Romi replied.

Nanda and Bella were alone and went home to each other because the day had begun to change into night.

Now, only Romi and Rena are in the room. The two of them cleaned the table in the living room together before they finally returned to their respective rooms.
