One year ago

On the eve of Sherly, Zidane, Indra, and Andin's departure to Paris. Rian followed the four to the airport.

"Basic less fun friends. Already gone not take a trip, they do not say goodbye to me anymore." Grumpily, Rian continued to walk looking for their whereabouts.

When Rian focused on looking for them, from a distance he saw Hendri like he was looking for someone.

He was also curious about Hendri who looked suspicious.

Rian immediately hid behind the wall and heard Hendri's conversation with his men.

"Find them and bring them before me. If necessary, take both. But remember, don't hurt Sherly. You understand!"

Rian heard clearly the conversation of Hendri and his men. He became anxious for his friend and his wife.

"Gue had to warn Zidane that Hendri was following and would harm them."

Rian rushes to find Zidane among the crowd but finds none.

"Oh Zidane, where are you?" Rian kept running to find them.

"Ah, that's Andin and Indra. But, where are Zidane and Sherly?" His views continue to be circulated to search for the whereabouts of Zidane and his wife.

He walked back to find his best friend. Instantly, his eyes fell on the two people who were chatting with two strangers.

"That's Zidane and Sherly. But who was she talking to?" Rian silently listened to the offer Zidane gave to the two foreigners.

It was heard that Zidane offered to both of them to go in their place to France and give a letter to someone if they were already on the plane and both agreed.

The two strangers left and left them to board the plane. Zidane and Sherly were silent at the spot and occasionally peeked outside.

"So, they gave the person a passport. But, why? Do they know anything about Hendri?"

Rian remained silent watching in hiding.

After the plane to France departed, shortly after it was seen from a distance someone came approaching.

"Gery? So, they've planned this out quickly? God, he didn't even involve me in it."

Rian continued to follow them until they left for Yogyakarta.

Since then, Rian has been monitoring Zidane's movements. Starting from simple living, living in a rented house, being an online taxi driver, and everything they do in that simple rented house, Rian knows it in detail.

All those questions were troubling Rian's mind. For over a year Rian collected information from all of them. But he found nothing.

Until he meets Aldrian, Sherly's brother.

Brother Al told me all about what happened to Sherly. Sherly turns into a monstrous figure when she gets angry after a time shooting incident at an old warehouse involving herself and Hendri.

From then on, Sherly has often turned out to be like an unseen figure.

Now, Rian understands what Zidane meant by hiding this from others.

Indeed, Rian knows if Zidane can see the subtle creatures since childhood. But, he did not expect if he became the target of his own uncle. In fact, now his wife also became the target of Hendri.

"What a pity they are. What kind of temen am I? Why don't I understand their situation." Regret overrides Rian.

Rian is very sorry for himself who is unable to understand the circumstances of his best friend.

One day Rian sees the Grisheld family in the hospital where he works.

Mrs Fransisca looks very sad. The situation is getting worse and worse.

Rian was concerned about the health condition of Ms. Fransisca. He was curious and asked Aldrian about the condition of his best friend's mother-in-law.

Aldrian told me about what happened to his mother. The intense longing for her youngest daughter made Ms. Fransisca depressed.

He shouted to call his daughter's name. Sometimes, she screamed hysterically by waving her hands like something was approaching her. Suddenly, mistress Fransisca banged her head against the wall over and over again and injured herself.

What a pity his fate. Rian couldn't listen to his best friend's mother-in-law any more. He also tells the address of where Zidane and Sherly live to Aldrian.

"Young Master Grisheld, I don't know if this will make them angry at me or not. But, hearing your story about Miss Grisheld, I feel concerned." Sissy speech.

Aldrian looked at Rian with a very happy face.

"really? You know where they are, Doctor Rian?"

"Then call brother Al. Just like everyone else." Aldrian said to Rian with a smile.

They also shake hands and smile.

The three of them departed from Yogyakarta to Jakarta by using the airline Garuda Indonesia.

Departure from 10:20 to Jakarta at 11:30. The three headed straight to the hospital after arriving at the airport.

Someone was waiting at the exit. He was Aldrian's personal assistant whom he had contacted first.

On the way, the three held hands. Their feelings were mixed at this moment.

"Sister, I'm scared." Aldrian's hand immediately rubbed his beloved sister's head gently.

"Don't be afraid. We're praying, I hope mommy's okay." Say it with a smile.

Zidane rubbed his wife's shoulders gently. "If we've met mommy, no matter what happens to mommy, you'll have to promise me one thing. Never blame yourself. Let alone making your anger overflow." Sherly looked seriously at her husband.

"Ppromise me!" Say again.

Sherly and Aldrian didn't understand what Zidane said just now. But, Sherly nodded quickly.

The airport trip to the hospital is quite long takes two hours of travel time because the traffic is quite crowded and jammed.

Aldrian's cell phone is ringing. That's a panghilan from his father, Mr. Hadi.

"And you, we're not going to the hospital. Turn around to get back to the main house!" His orders were to the assistant who was directly following him.

The car sped up after turning towards the Grisheld residence. Danu quickly drove the vehicle after hearing his master's orders.

By hearing his tone, Danu understood that his condition was not okay. He did not need to ask his master again.

"Sir, what's wrong? Has mommy been brought home?" Aldrian only glanced at his sister before saying.

"Zidane, promise to appease him." His eyes glanced at his sister-in-law.

Zidane understood his brother-in-law's intentions. The mother-in-law is in critical condition.

"I promise, brother." Zidane.

Sherly turned her head towards the two handsome men beside her.

"Why is my sister talking to him? I asked the same brother." Aldrian just smiled and kissed his sister's forehead.

"Never fight your husband's words. Remember, he's your paradise." The words of Brother Al did not understand his brother.

Sherly just knitted her eyebrows together.

What the hell did you mean by talking like that?

But the question did not come out of his thin lips.

Their car entered the main gate of the Grisheld residence. Welcomed with two guards standing guard at the gate.

Sherly spread her eyes. He looked around his spacious courtyard.

A year later I left home. Everything looks the same.

A sense of excitement in his heart as he set foot again in this mansion. The Grisheld family home. A place where he shares everything with his family.

Sherly smiled for a while before her gaze was fixed on the wide open door.

There are a lot of people sitting there. There is a faint sound of the voice of the person teaching. Although Sherly is non-Muslim, she knows that the people inside are reading Yasin's letter.

Zidane and Aldrian turned to him.

"You're strong." Say both in unison.

His face looked up at the two men before him. He was more and more convinced that something was happening inside.

His feet stepped in with his hands holding the arms of the two men beside him.

As they entered, all eyes were on him including his father, brother-in-law, and nephew. There was also Dika and Iren.

"Sherily." Her father's shrill voice made Sherly's tears slide suddenly.

He walked to get close. However, his eyes caught something else.

A crate covered with white cloth and also decorated with flowers. It was clearly visible in his eyes. His steps were also shifted towards the box.

"Sir." Call brother Aldrian to try to prevent it. However, Zidane's hand quickly pulled Al's.

"Let him see her one last time, brother." Aldrian was immediately silent on the spot.

Sherly kept going with a difficult feeling to describe. His hands were trembling and his footsteps were heavy.

When he was in front of the chest, his eyes widened to see someone he loved was already lying stiff in the chest.

"Mommy!" Her hysterical screams made everyone shed tears.

His heart is broken now. The fear that was felt earlier turned out to be reality. This is the answer to the talk of Al and Zidane who were not understood from earlier.

"Mommy!" It felt like Sherly's chest was very tight and she was hard to breathe.

"Sherily." Everyone panicked to see the youngest princess who suddenly fainted.
