Chapter 8 - Loss
Arin and Anna's moving day is busy packing their things. Not all of their belongings were brought, only clothes and some other supplies, the rest were left to stay at home. The pick up car that Arin had ordered had also arrived and was waiting for him in front of the house.
The father looked worried to see his two children actually leaving the house after the quarrel a few days ago. But what can be done this is the decision of those who are already adults and have the right to choose their way of life.
“If there is anything directly contact mr. ..” he said.
“Father don't worry, we can live alone.” said Arin scrupulously ignoring his father who seemed trying to help him.
Anna who glanced at her brother who looked so indifferent to father, she felt bad if she joined in ignoring father. Either he did not understand the problem or maybe his heart was too weak.
All the stuff's been in the pick up car. Anna got into a different car after saying goodbye to her father. After talking to the driver, Arin approached his father, who was standing at the gate, waiting for him.
“We go first, dad so yourself well ..” said Arin.
“You don't want to tell me where to move?” ask her with a face.
“Ngak. For now ..., I send greetings to mother,” said Arin who then walked away leaving her father with a feeling of pain that grieves her heart at this time. As a child, he could not just leave his parents. But this way Arin did because he also wanted to breathe.
Get in the car and then drive. The cold wind that blew along with the freezing of Arin's current feeling. Although painful, he must still survive for himself who has been too much hurt.

CODE BLUE'S! CODE BLUE'S! CODE BLUE'S!
An emergency alarm from the ICU led doctors and nurses into the room where Haru's father lay limp. Haru looks panicked as she learns from behind the glass door that her father is currently back in his critical years. The heart does not suddenly beat. A doctor tried to give her CPR to restore her heartbeat. Everything seemed chaotic and the tension felt one room. Medical workers are doing their best to save one precious life.
“1 .. 2.. 3 ... SHOOT!”
A DUG!
“ADDITIONAL TEN VOLTS!! MOVE ALL …!! 1 ... 2 .. 3.. SHOOT!!!”
A DUG!
The heart does not want to beat.
The doctor gave a heart booster to the nurse and then again gave CPR to the patient.
But God willed another, the heart completely stopped and the doctor also stopped his hand that was originally pumping. A face full of sorrow. The doctor finally announced the time of death.
Haru only grew silent when an assistant doctor approached him and told him his father was dead. His hands trembled, he thought about how he had told his mother this news. Half his world is now completely destroyed. Even tears could no longer express her sadness. Time seemed to stop spinning, the light of life that disappeared now his world became pitch-black.
Throughout the funeral process, the mother did not stop crying to take her husband away. All dressed in black, surrounded a tomb that had just been covered back by red earth and sprinkled with flowers. Mother could no longer bear the sadness immediately fainted in Haru's arms.
Several times the doctor came because the mother fainted. He had to lie weakly with an infusion hose attached to his hand. Unbearable to see his mother struggling on her own, Haru chooses to take time off and the project must be pushed back because of him. A disaster that humans cannot predict. Perhaps from all the success he received there will be one thing taken so that he is not arrogant. Haru again blamed himself.
Mom suddenly woke up while Haru was pensive in her mind.
“Haru ..”
“Mother ... is mom okay?” asked Haru while helping her mother who wanted to sit down.
“Nothing, please get your father's journal book box in the drawer ..” he said while pointing to the drawer right next to Haru who then rushed to get it. A journal book that looks weathered, whether since when this book was used by his late father.
“This, Bu ...,” Haru said while giving it away.
“Mom forgot something very important to your father ..” said the mother who started to open the journal book. “When young, your father had a close friend already like a brother to him. You remind Mr Rio ...?” tanyakanya.
“Iya.”
“Have you told him about your father?” ask Mother.
“Already. He came the next day ...,” replied Haru.
“Thankful you contacted him. Because it's too messed up mom forgot. Sorry yes ...” said the mother while removing a dull envelope from the journal and then extended to Haru. “You read this ...,” he said.
Without hesitation Haru accepted and read it, an inscription belonging to his father on a dull work sheet containing a final will for him.
“Mother and Father do not want to burden your future, you can cancel the matchmaking at that time ..., all decisions are in your hands.” said Mother.
Haru was still stunned while carrying her father's writing. One long breath after finishing reading it, Haru again saw the letter — staring at his mother who looked so pale.
“Bu ...,”
“Iya ..?”
“Actually, until now I still pay attention to the woman, the woman that I met at that time until now is still in my mind …,” Haru said as she grabbed both of her mother's hands that seemed stunned to hear her.
“But wasn't that time you insisted on refusing the match?” ask Mother.
“I'm wrong. I always refused to get into my head, I was wrong. Back then I just couldn't accept if I liked that woman.” Haru said.
The mother's tears trickled down hearing the unexpected confession of her son.
“I will not look at that matchmaking. I will soon marry her .. sorry I took too long to say it because of my doubts,” said Haru felt very sorry because he could only ventured after his father was gone.
Mother hugged Haru gently, feeling moved by the child's confession. “Nothing, don't blame yourself. Everything that happened was not your fault . I deserve to be happy with your choice. I've always supported you, Son ..” said Mother gave a warm caress to Haru.
