CHAPTER 36

That morning the weather looked cloudy. The birds that usually chirp even as if they do not show themselves. Rain spots had fallen and soaked the road and leaves.

Kimora lazily opened her eyes. His mother woke him up many times. However, Kimora's body just squirmed lazily on the bed.

"What time is ma'am?" ask with your eyes slightly open.

"Hour 8. Elkhan was waiting in front." replied his mother.

Kimora was suddenly shocked. He immediately got out of bed towards the bathroom. "Have El wait a minute!" he said while running to the bathroom.

"Mother's off, son, it's a red date."

Kimora forgot if today was a red date. In the bathroom, she stood in front of the mirror. He looked at himself through the big enough mirror.

His eyes still look a bit swollen. She cried all night for receiving such shocking news.

Dimas, his classmate and best friend. Reportedly died in an accident. His knees were saggy and his body was limp for a moment. Tears could not stop descending as he stared at the stiff body of his best friend.

Today is the day of Dimas' funeral. Kimora did not want to miss this. He wanted to take his best friend to the final resting place.

Remembering Dimas, Kimora cried again. Holding her tight chest, Kimora cried in the water flowing from the shower.

Kimora held Elkhan's hand and then held it tightly. But her tears seemed to be unable to stop dripping.

Arriving at the Dimas residence. Where Dimas' body was buried. Her tears could no longer be controlled. Kimora approached and cried beside Dimas' body.

Two days ago, Dimas was still healthy. He came to school with a smiling face. After a few days of not attending school. He also wants to reunite with his friends.

Kimora looked at Elkhan for a moment. Then open his mouth and start eating. It's true what Elkhan said. If he was sick, Elkhan would be very sad.

After eating. Kimora falling in Elkhan's lap. He made Elkhan's thigh a pillow. Gently Elkhan stroked Kimora's hair. Shortly thereafter Kimora fell asleep.

Shortly after, Alenka approached. She saw Kimora sleeping in her son's lap. "El, Ara's sleeping?" Elkhan nodded his head.

"He must be very sad." Alenka remembered Sisil who also died while still in school. So he could feel what Kimora was feeling.

"Bring Ara to your room! There's a lot of wind" Alenka said.

Elkhan immediately lifted Kimora up to her room on the top floor. Elkhan carefully placed Kimora on her bed. Then he covered her, and waited for Kimora beside him. Until he falls asleep.
