THE TEARS OF KUMARI KANDAM

THE TEARS OF KUMARI KANDAM
CHAPTRE 81

"I thought it was just bird news, but it seems that Kumari Kandam is indeed being messed up to the point that I who came from the most distant place could arrive first."

"Greetings."

"Waalaikumussalam," King Jvaala replied to Braheim.

"I don't mean to dodge, but isn't Chamakadaar much more chaotic?"

King Jvaala laughed. "I also do not intend to defend, but the caste problem is the most chaotic, King Braheim."

"I lost."

King Jvaala laughed again. "But how could it be, King Braheim?"

"You mean the illicit relationship between my Counselor and my future Queen or Queen Chamakadaar who was pregnant with either child?"

King Jvaala was endlessly laughing. "God's Masya. Long live for you, King Braheim, who always makes people worship."

Bheim returns the sudden embrace of King Jvaala, restores the long-lived prayer of the fierce-looking king, and is lost together swallowed by Rona*'s main door*. The six kings of the six continents immediately ended their respective activities, when King Jvaala entered the room with diekori Braheim. After taking turns to say good-bye to each other, a secret emergency meeting began that day.

Rona* is the place where kings and queens will be tried if proven to commit sins related to the people. Rona is located in the middle of eight continents including Kumari Kandam. And the one who will be the judge in Rona is every leader of those eight continents.

Since the emergency meeting they held in Rona during the war standby against Gaana in the past, Rona is now a place that has two functions. The actual function is in accordance with the ancestral tradition as a place to judge the sun and moon of each continent, and the new function is as a place to hold secret emergency meetings as well as a place to exchange disgrace between the eight kings.

"Not enough with the chaotic Queen Chamakadaar but her dungeon as well?"

"Oh come. Don't remind me of that ungrateful woman." The Chamakadaar king, Arshaq Zamir, threw the wine he was about to devour at King Hathelee.

"All right I pity you, King Arshaq. But really, I wonder who his father is."

"Stop this discussion or I'll expel your people who trade in Chamakadaar."

Spontaneous Braheim and the kings laughed while enjoying King Hathelee's joke on King Arshaq. And so began the meeting of the king's eighth secret emergency, after the servants had finished filling the dishes on the giant round table. The issue they will discuss this time is about who their opponents are in a future war of destruction if Sanjeev Rajak is put to death.

"Before the death penalty, should not be arrested first?"

King Shushk nodded in response to King Padachihn. "He obviously used a strange potion. It was impossible for an ordinary human to be able to dig a hole that long in just two minutes."

"Where is he hiding himself?" ask King Garjan.

"The hole ended up around Baseela*. But I heard that King Braheim has done a great search and found him nowhere." King Lagaam turned to Braheim.

Baseela* the name of the village that Haala and Jihan lived in in the past.

"I know where he's hiding. Unfortunately, this is still a guess."

The six kings turned to Braheim, but Bheim did not continue his words. Bheim. Doubtful if his conjecture was only the result of his prejudice on Jihan that never decayed. Or worse, because of his stance as a neutral king, slowly began to be polluted. Anyone was free to guess, but especially for a king, their guesses could not be carelessly phrased.

"That day there was a mass revival in Kumari Kandam."

"What's? You mean, the corpse that rose from its own grave?" King Arshaq almost got out of his chair.

King Jvaala shook his head. "Innalallahi. Is there really such an event? But how is it possible?"

"Some one raised them."

King Hathelee shook his head. "No-no. Don't say, Sanjeev Rajak?"

"It's still a guess."

"Say more detail, King Braheim." King Garjan urged.

"There was a man I knew in the past, Firdoos Shyamali. He died the day I lowered the order to displace brothels, Svarg* and the like ...."

Svarg* is a shelter for beautiful-faced male slaves. Some of them were sent to brothels, and some were sent in secret to the queen's palace or harem.

The seven kings look very tense, although what is now being said Bheim is still limited to guesses.

" ... Firdoos and Jihan love each other. I saw it in Firdos' eyes when he said he wanted to protect Jihan, and vice versa. I saw love in Jihan's eyes as she unhesitatingly removed the crown of Queen Kumari Kandam" Braheim added.

"So you're saying that Jihan is suing for the death of that man named Firdoos Shyamali, is that it?"

"It doesn't make sense. As King Braheim said, he had only known Firdoos Shyamali in the past, so it was not his fault that the future Firdoos Shyamali died" King Padachihn told King Shushk.

King Lagaam nodded repeatedly. "Then what does all that have to do with Sanjeev Rajak and the mass revival?"

"The last hole that Sanjeev Rajak dug was found in Baseela, and on the same day, Jihan was there as well. A former brothel worker who lives in Baseela testified that Jihan had been approached, and was questioned about Firdoos Shyamali."

"That means most likely they met, agreed, united goals, and conspired." King Shushk leaned limply on the back of the chair.

"Then there is no doubt. Sanjeev Rajak is with Jihan. Hows it? Should we arrest him right now? I think eight thousand soldiers is more than enough."

"I'm impressed with your spirit, King Arshaq. But let's think of a more mature plan of arrest" said King Garjan.

"alright. Sanjeev Rajak's problem is over, and let's just say we managed to get him the death penalty. Then who? I mean our enemy in a future war of destruction?"

Silent. There was no answer to the question King Padachihn had just asked. Because Bheim and the six kings asked the same thing in each other's minds. Let's say Sanjeev Rajak and Jihan are potentially the most likely to bring misery to Kumari Kandam and the surrounding areas already executed. What then? Who replaced them? Who is their opponent in the war of destruction?

"I think the leader of the wandering tribe can give us an answer. Let's go meet him. The faster the better. King Braheim must know where he lives." The enthusiastic voice of King Lagaam instantly broke the silence.

"Mook Forest. But we can't just go in. That place other than not accepting the relics of the dead also does not accept dirty people."

"What's? Come on, King Braheim. There are no saints. Even if it's a newborn baby" King Hathelee said.

"I knew. That is why we must purify ourselves. By Badaal*."

Baadal* is one of the sacred lakes in Kumari Kandam. It is said that Baadal was guarded by a giant fish named Ghinauna. Those who soak in Baadal will be purified from the rest of human filth, the rest of the food and drink, or the poison that settles in the body. But Ghinauna is known to be unfriendly, so very few people can soak there.

"Astaghfirullah, it is no different from suicide" muttered King Jvaala.

Bheim. "Same as in the past. War can break out at any time, and the enemy can be not just one person. There's no other way. We have to meet Daxraj Natesh, by any means."
