Matchmaking

"Raka, I want to introduce you to someone" Rahman told his son.

"Who?" ask Raka.

"Be prepared! We'll be there tonight." Raka had expected her father to match her to the girl of his choice.

Tonight the families of Mr. Hanafi and Bu Fatimah prepared various dishes to welcome the future iron. Annisa was just pouting. He actually did not want to be betrothed by his father. However, Mr. Hanafi forces Annisa to get married immediately. As a father he was only kasian with the fate of his daughter who became a single parent.

Mr. Hanafi hopes that the man who will be betrothed to Annisa is as good as the late Abizar.

Soon after, Rahman's family arrived at Mr. Hanafi's house. "Welcome, Mr. Rahman," said Mr. Hanafi kindly.

"It's nice to visit my father's house" said Mr. Rahman. Mr. Hanafi glanced at the young man wearing the long-sleeved batik shirt.

"This is my eldest son, Naraka Wijaya." Raka nodded politely. Then he kissed Mr. Hanafi's hand.

"Light as you are" whispered Mr. Hanafi in Rahman Wijaya's ear. The two laughed together.

"Where's your son?" ask Rahman.

"Annisa," call Mr. Hanafi. Hearing the name of Annisa called Raka became curious. When the woman who had the name came out, Raka was more and more convinced Annisa was the one who would be betrothed to her.

"This is Annisa, my youngest child," said Mr. Hanafi introduced his daughter.

After that, the family of Mr. Hanafi invited Pak Rahman's family to eat the dishes that had been provided.

"So according to my agreement and Mr. Hanafi, today we intend to match you, Raka and Annisa," said Rahman who directed his gaze alternately towards Raka and Annisa.

"I know, but I haven't told Raka yet" replied Mr. Rahman. A moment later he turned his eyes towards his son. "So Raka this woman who will be your partner is not an ordinary woman. She's an amazingly strong woman because she has to be a single mother to her infant son."

Raka surprised. A baby? Raka does not know that Annisa has had a child from a previous marriage. "Annisa already has a child?" ask Raka.

"Already" replied Annisa. He stood up and took Dennis who was being held by his mother. "This is my son, Dennis." Annisa hopes that after she shows her son, Raka refuses the match.

Raka smiled thinly. He can read Annisa's mind. But because Raka had liked Annisa from the beginning so she did not mind her status. "I accepted this match, Dad," he said steadily to his father. Mr. Rahman and Mr. Hanafi looked at each other. They were happy because Raka did not reject the match. While Annisa even shed her shoulders. He did not expect to be betrothed to the person he had hated all this time.

After the event was over, Mr. Rahman's family said goodbye. "It's nice to have a message with you, Mr. Hanafi," said Mr. Rahman.

"Me too" replied Mr. Hanafi while embracing Rahman Wijaya. After that he turned to Raka. "Annisa is a stubborn woman. So I hope you can be more patient with him" Annisa's parents told the young man.

Raka nodded in understanding. "I will try," answered Raka confidently. Mr. Hanafi likes Raka's confidence. He nodded in agreement.

Annisa complained to her mother. "Mom, Annisa is not ready to marry Mr. Raka yet" whined Annisa.

"You know him?" ask Fatimah. Annisa nodded.

"She was a lecturer who often tortured me on campus, Mom," Annisa said. Suddenly the voice of Mr. Hanafi laughed.

"It turns out you guys are really good friends. Raka has not known that she will be betrothed to you. However, it seems like he has a crush on you first," ledek Mr. Hanafi. Annisa pursed her lips.
