ADJOINING REALM
UNPREDICTABLY

"Once who? You're all human, aren't you?" ask the man back. He continued to look at Darto and Jaka in turn, his eyes peeking from toe to head belonging to the two young men in front of him.

"Yes, Sir. The owner of the hut up ahead?" sahut Darto put on an astonished face to the man in front of him.

"Yes, that's my hut. Last night I heard your footsteps, but I thought it was just the sound of an animal, because I haven't seen a human in a long time" replied the man.

"That means that you are Kanjeng Semar?" jaka Timpal.

"Yet?" replied the old man in a questioning tone. He looked a little confused by the name he had just heard, "Who's the firefly?" He continued, staring in wonder at Darto and Jaka.

"Mother don't know?" Tanya Darto is back.

The man just shook his head, then he said, "Let's stop by my hut first."

Hearing the person's invitation, Darto and Jaka immediately looked at each other before finally nodding and following the footsteps of the man in front of him.

For a moment they followed the path, but after advancing a few meters the old man turned past the rice field.

Darto and Jaka were a little surprised because the man turned in the opposite direction to the hut, but they followed the man's steps and not long after that man was behind their bodies without Darto noticing.

"Step forward, son," asked the man from behind Darto and Jaka.

Darto and Jaka went ahead as the man ordered, and soon they both felt the same way. A strange feeling that greeted his entire body, like the middle of breaking through a thin wall made of water so cold. But the wall was shapeless and could not be seen with the naked eye.

After breaking through the wall, Darto and Jaka arrived at the opposite place, they actually jumped far, until they reached the front of the hut that had originally been their destination.

"It looks like you're hallucinating, son. Did you guys see this hut in the back?" Ask the man while smiling.

"Yes, Sir. We from yesterday walked towards this place, but we are like a road in place" replied Jaka.

"Well, last night I heard footsteps pacing back and forth. You may have passed through this hut a few times, but you do not realize that you are just circling in the middle of the rice," the man explained.

"Sir, we came from the forest behind, two nights have passed since we entered the forest.Did you really not know about Kanjeng Semar? I really need your help" said Darto at length.

The man just nodded, then he stood up and went inside his hut. Not long after he returned while carrying a pitcher, and immediately offered to the two young men in front of him.

"Drink first, son. Maybe this water can give you the answer to your wish" the man asked again.

Darto and Jaka who were already thirsty immediately drank the water in the jug, they immediately drank from the jug without a glass as an intermediary. The water is so fresh, and does not have a taste like the water in the rice fields.

Darto and Jaka who were holding their heads tried to see the old man in front of him. Surprisingly, the man actually smiled and looked satisfied, when he saw the two young men in front of him being hit by pain.

"What is this Sir!" Sergey Darto as he continued to hold his head, everything that appeared in front of his eyes now began to double.

"You're going to die, son," said the man with a relaxed face. He felt ordinary to see the two young men in front of him groan even to the point of rolling on the ground.

Darto and Jaka could hear the man's words clearly, but they really couldn't do anything.

They continued to roll withstanding the throbbing that was now starting to creep from their heads. From the neck, chest, stomach to the lower body of Darto and Jaka now almost completely feel the same.

No matter how small the movements made by Darto and Jaka, it really felt like a big incision in their bodies. They tried to be silent but in vain, because even if it was just breathing, it could already make them feel an incredible pain in their chest.

The faces of Darto and Jaka began to turn blue, they continued to try to hold their breath as long as possible in a curled position. Clear fluid begins to flow from the corners of the eyes, nose, mouth and even their ears. They were in real pain and looked really bad.

The man remained unmoved, he continued to look at Darto and Jaka in turn, with an innocent look lodged in his face.

Five minutes passed, Darto and Jaka still curled up, their eyes empty with gaping lips. They were already unable to display any more expressions of pain, even though their bodies were still very sore if moved.

This time the man walked closer towards the two youths who were already not struggling in front of him. He put two fingers of his hand in front of Darto and Jaka's nose in turn.

The man smiled faintly when he learned there were still breaths on the two men in front of him. For some reason his smile was so wide, inversely proportional to his actions.

Not long after that the man brought Darto and Jaka who were fainting with open eyes, into his hut.

He laid the bodies of Darto and Jaka on his back, then went back into the next room to achieve something.

The man came back this time with a dagger in his hand. He brought the dagger closer to Jaka and not long after that the dagger managed to cut off Jaka's body.

After he finished taking something that belonged to Jaka, he gradually shifted his body and immediately did the same to Darto. When he got everything, he went back into the room with a happy smile on his face.

He had not returned long enough to the place where Darto and Jaka were lying. I don't know what the man was doing in the next room, with something he achieved with Darto and Jaka. While Darto and Jaka, they are still breathing, with fainting conditions, and wide eyes.

The clear fluid flowing from the eyes, mouth, nose and ears had also started to stop, although they were still unconscious as well.

After an hour, the man finally returned. He sat down near Darto's head and said, "Let's start."
