Special Mission From Emperor Jiang Long

The next morning, Zhao Jian felt like his body was going to crumble. He did not expect his two wives to be so savage that he was not even allowed to lie down to gather energy.

“Hmm, they slept soundly once,” murmured Zhao Jian looked at Jiang Ruo and Liu Ruxu. “Ah, hungry once!” He rushed out of the room and was about to look for food into the Imperial Palace's kitchen.

“It looks like you slept soundly, huh?”

Eunuch Long's voice made Zhao Jian surprised and he did not expect it to turn out that the Emperor was also sitting with Eunuch Long while drinking tea in the living room of the Orchid Pavilion.

Zhao Jian immediately cupped his fists to show the Emperor some respect. “Zhao Jian greets Emperor Long!”

“Already... no need to be so formal,” interrupted Emperor Jiang Long. "Please sit down, it just so happens that there are a lot of dishes here and we who these elders will not be able to spend it!” Emperor Jiang Long smiled warmly so Zhao Jian immediately sat down on the chair opposite the Emperor's table.

“Te-thanks Emperor!” sahut Zhao Jian was nervous, even though the figure before him was his in-laws.

The emperor waved his hand, the area around them was suddenly enveloped by his spiritual energy. It was like a Shield that made their conversation unable to be heard by others.

Zhao Jian guessed that Emperor Jiang Long was about to talk about something very important to him.

While chewing on a piece of bread, Zhao Jian speculated it might have something to do with a group of Judges and Court Officers who invited him to join a faction of justice or the chaos going on in the Central Forest Hunt.

“Congratulations for reaching the Paramita Realm, when it felt like only yesterday you and Jiang Ruo reached the Saint realm. My decision was very precise when it made you marry Jiang Ruo because you are a martial genius!” said Emperor Jiang praising Zhao Jian so that Zhao Jian smiled widely happy to be praised by the Emperor.

“It is actually thanks to my special Beast that my spiritual energy increases as their spiritual energy increases as well!” zhao Jian Sahut.

“The cultivation restraints in Gui Dao we are in the Paramita realm and you have reached that limit. It is a pity that a martial genius like you should be restrained in the Jiang Empire!” said Emperor Jiang Long while sighing deeply.

Zhao Jian felt that this conversation was getting heavier and felt that there was a veiled intention that the Emperor wanted to convey.

“A few months ago the Gui Dao search expedition team of the Dragon Army had infiltrated a large Gui Dao quite a distance away from our Gui Dao!” Eunuch Long continued the conversation. “However, that Gui Dao also swam in the same direction as our Gui Dao.”

Zhao Jian broke out in cold sweat and thought that he might be sent again to be a peaceful messenger again.

However, Eunuch Long refused for fear that if he left then the former inhabitants of Cloud Tortoise Kingdom would be harassed by the big Clans as well as by other entities.” The look on Emperor Jiang Long's face suddenly looked sad.

Zhao Jian had already concluded this conversation was leading to him. It is impossible for secrets like this to be discussed without a specific intent.

He thought that maybe there later, he could increase his Cultivation base to the World Master Realm quickly because if he remained here then his Cultivation base would only be stuck in the Paramita Realm, only, unless the Jiang Empire conquered another Gui Dao.

“I am willing to be a spy of the Jiang Empire there and will continue to accompany the Message so that the Emperor can direct the Gui Dao of the Jiang Empire away from that foreign Gui Dao!” zhao Jian Sahut.

The corner of Eunuch Long's lips emitted a faint smile, whereas Emperor Jiang Long looked surprised Zhao Jian immediately offered himself without being ordered first.

"But, can the Emperor give me big funds for my work there?” Zhao Jian smiled faintly as he scratched his head as he was actually very embarrassed to do so, but the cost of cultivating it required huge funds so there were rarely great martial artists from the commoners and it was always dominated by the big Clans.

Eunuch Long coughed at hearing that and sneered at Zhao Jian shamelessly for daring to ask the Emperor for big money.

However, Emperor Jiang Long instead chuckled. He said what Zhao Jian said was not wrong and promised to give him big funds as his provisions in foreign Gui Dao later.

Emperor Jiang Long then asked Zhao Jian to rest longer in the palace with his two wives, as perhaps they would part very long in the future and he would only be allowed to return after reaching the World Master realm, hence from the beginning he also had Jiang Ruo and Liu Ruxu come to the palace.

“Are you sure those people will follow Zhao Jian to Gui Dao of the Great Gu Dynasty?” Emperor Jiang Long asked after Zhao Jian left them.

The people that Emperor Jiang Long was referring to were Cultivators who infiltrated the Jiang Empire to search for Zhao Jian's whereabouts on Ye Mo's orders, ye Jing's cousin who was killed by Zhao Jian for practicing forbidden techniques.

Ye Mo himself was from the Ye Clan which was one of the great Clans in the Tianlong World. The Patriarch as well as the Elders in the Ye Clan were unable to enter this World because their cultivation base was too high and only the Origin King realm in Tianlong World could enter this World—eat him Ye Mo lah and several young members of the Ye Clan were sent, but Ye Mo killed his comrades for planning to stay in this World and become the sole Sovereign ruling this entire World.

“I'm sure they'll chase him there, though, and we only hope that he raises his Cultivation base quickly in order to protect himself or find a supporter in the Great Gu Dynasty who can protect him from those people!” sahut Eunuch Long.

Emperor Jiang Long took a deep breath and pondered, if Lu Xiaoran did not escape then he and Zhao Jian would become great Swordsmen belonging to the Jiang Empire, as these two people had similarities; where the cultivation base of both of them increased quickly let alone Lu Xiaoran being able to defeat enemies who were two levels above him whereas Zhao Jian was a Beast Master who could control many Beasts.
