The explosion in the sky was a signal for help, something that was only used when someone from the Burning Lotus Sect was in great danger. Despite that, not all Burning Lotus Sect disciples were given such items, as most Sect elders or Core disciples would accept them because of their importance to the Sect.
And according to the rules of the Burning Lotus Sect, one had to stop whatever they were doing to answer the call of help if noticed, especially the Sect Elders, even if they were aware of the danger ahead.
When an explosion occurred in the sky above the Burning Lotus Sect, the various Sect Elders and Core disciples within the Sect who saw the flames immediately stopped whatever they were doing and started heading towards the place where the explosion had appeared.
In just a few minutes, Sect Elders and elite disciples numbering in the hundreds appeared at Su Yang's location, shocking every single disciple there, to the surprise of every single one, because many of them had never seen so many Sect Elders and Core disciples in one place other than major events.
It was suddenly surrounded by at least a thousand burning Lotus disciples and elders ranging from the True Spirit Realm to the Earth Spirit Realm, one would expect a young disciple like Su Yang to piss his pants and faint out of fear, but in reality, Su Yang only calmly smiled at the situation and said to the Sect Elder with a broken hand,
"Speak about overreaction. I haven't even touched you yet, yet you have gone out of your way to seek as much help as you are on the brink of death – especially after sneaking up on me now? Just like your students, you don't know shame" said Su Yang.
"What's going on here, Elder Lao? Why did you activate the Emergency Amulet ?!"
another Sect Elder revealed confusion after seeing the situation. From their point of view, nothing out of the ordinary here at first glance required the use of an Emergency Talisman, something only meant for near-death situations.
"B-B-bastard over there is an intruder! Not only did he cripple my hand but from what I have learned, he is here with the intent to cause great damage to our Burning Lotus Sect!" he said while pointing at Su Yang.
After hearing his words, the Sect Elder turned to look at Su Yang with a deep frown on their faces.
"Inbreathers? He was only a disciple of the District Court of the Profound Blossom Sect. What can he do that could harm us?" Another Sect Elder expressed doubt.
But such a reaction was only natural, because the Profound Flower Sect was not a place that could threaten them even if the blossom sect would launch a full-scale attack on them, let alone a disciple from that place.
"Umm ..." Elder Lao began to panic inwardly when he realized that he had acted too rashly with the Emergency Amulet. If he did not justify his reason for using it, he might be the one who was punished instead of Su Yang for wasting everyone's precious resources and time.
Suddenly, he remembered Wang Ming, who had mysteriously died recently, and said while pointing at Su Yang, "My disciple saw that that bastard killed Wang Ming!"
Of course, Elder Lao couldn't possibly know about Su Yang killing Wang Ming and just making up lies to make him look even more dangerous, but little did he know that he had accidentally revealed the truth.
"What's? Really it?" The way the other Sect Elders looked at Su Yang immediately changed after hearing Elder Lao's random reason.
Even Su Yang expressed surprise when Wang Ming suddenly mentioned. He was sure that there was no one nearby when he killed Wang Ming, yet this Elder Lao somehow knew of it?
"W-Wait a minute!"
A sweet voice echoed before Su Yang could even speak, and a figure appeared before him.
"D-He didn't do it with the intent to hurt the Sect! It's because of me!" Said the man.
Su Yang looked at the beautiful girl before him with wide eyes, who happened to be Zhang Xiu Ying.
"And who are you?" Many Sect Elders did not recognize Zhang Xiu Ying and asked him.
"I-I am Zhang Xiu Ying .." she introduced herself in a timid voice.
"Murid Zhang, what did you mean by those words earlier? Wanna explain?"
Zhang Xiu Ying nodded and gave them a quick explanation of how Wang Ming had abused his status as a District Court disciple to pressure the female disciple of the Outer Court into sleeping with him. Then he told them about how Su Yang helped him by revealing Wang Ming.
"Who would have thought that someone like Wang Ming turned out to be such a man …"
Many elders and disciples expressed deep disdain after learning of Wang Ming's true identity. Some of them even felt grateful towards Su Yang for killing him, as they would do the same.
Su Yang watched all of this unfold before him with raised eyebrows, looking surprised by how the situation progressed without needing to speak a word.
"That's right. I'm the one who killed Wang Ming." Su Yang finally confessed to killing Wang Ming despite having the intention to deny all the conjectures a moment ago.
When Elder Lao heard Su Yang's confession, his eyes widened in shock. He didn't think that his bullshit turned out to be true!
A moment later, an old man emerged from within the crowd and stood a few meters away from Su Yang, his deep gaze filled with astonishment and admiration when looking towards Su Yang.
"Great elder Han!" All the Sect Elders and disciples instantly recognized this old man with long white hair and fu whiskers.
"You ... Why are you disguised as a mere disciple of the Profound Blossom Sect?" Elder Han spoke while playing with his long mustache.
"What's? He's not a student of that place? Even though he's wearing their uniform?" Everyone expressed confusion when they heard Elder Han's words.
"Anyone can obtain unique clothes even with a little effort, and you might look 'weak', but you can't fool me .." Elder Han's eyes looked at Su Yang with a deep feeling, deep, it was almost like he could see through it.
"What are you talking about?" Su Yang asked with a slight smile on his face.
"Although no one here can see your true cultivation base, I don't blame them, either, because only someone in the Heavenly Spirit Realm like myself can see the cultivation base of your peak earth spirit realm .." said the great elder han.
"What ?! The peak of the Earth Spirit Realm?"
