Chapter 52 - There is no safe place

The night began to spread out various thoughts that Yuan Shi could not control. His head was pierced by needles several hundred times. That was his daily life as emperor, behind the power in his hands there were many burdens that he had to bear. Often, he forgets what becomes of his own grief.

In the doorway, Qing' Er looked at Yuan Shi with wailing eyes, teeth grinding softly. After all, no one wanted to see his loved ones burdened. As their two eyes met each other, a faint smile was engraved on the faces of the two. Making the atmosphere melt like a warm wind from a fire furnace.

Qing Er walked slowly to meet Yuan Shi who had opened her arms wide to welcome the empress. "Are you not tired?" that was the question that was spoken from the mouth of the emperor to his beloved queen.

"Seeing you're still busy, how can I rest? Didn't I promise to accompany you?" Qing Er smiled then sat on the man's lap while also staring at the thing Yuan Shi had seen before.

"Does Qing' Er have a brilliant plan?" Yuan Shi looked at Qing Er who was in front of him. The woman turned her head and gently touched the emperor's face.

"My plan is to comfort you," Qing Er looked up to close her eyes slowly waiting for Sang Kiasar's lips to fuse with hers.

As their lips began to clench deeper, Yuan Shi was almost lulled with the beauty and sweetness of the taste that her empress' lips had before Qing 'Er finally let go of the warm kiss. A split second suddenly Qing Er felt her chest tight and her head hurt a lot. Faintly he began to see the image of Qing's original soul Er disappear completely.

Su Mian shook his head violently trying to keep himself awake, Yuan Shi immediately hugged the empress who was now limp and fainted on her lap. "Qing 'Er! Su Mian's! You two hang on! What's going on?" the emperor's voice seemed to tremble so worried about the empress' condition.

Su Mian opened her eyes slowly seeing herself inside space and time, Qing Er looked at her gently, the woman smiled warmly towards Su Mian and hugged her tightly.

"I can no longer hold on, after Ji is not around. My life feels like nothing else, unlike you who desperately want Yuan Shi and live with him. Su Mian, do you want to completely replace me?" Qing Er stood parallel in front of Su Mian.

"Hold Qing 'Er! It is not my right to have your life, you should get up and go back with Yuan Shi and the baby that is in your body!" Su Mian shook her head slowly then grabbed Qing Er's hand.

"This is all for you, thank you for helping me. I hope you will receive all the messages I left you, support Yuan Shi to the end, take care of my family like your own. Live with happiness with him!" Qing's soul Er looked away from Su Mian, she was immersed in space and time and melted into a flying butterfly.

"Miss Su, that real soul has given it all to you. How'this? Will you accept his request?" Nemo appeared beside Su Mian in confusion.

"I don't know, Nemo what do you think? Of course I want to go back to the future, but being with Yuan Shi makes me very happy." Su Mian was speechless looking at the butterfly that started to disappear from his sight.

"He always decides with his feelings, he's the best friend I've known since childhood. But I was so guilty of him. I promise, I will make her name more radiant than ever, erase all the bad rumors that have been on her and make her the beloved queen of all the people of the dynasty." Yuan Shi let out a long sigh, before finally hugging back Su Mian.

"I will do the same, Su Mian who is now Qing' Er, I will help you recover the glory of Qing'Er and make her the beloved queen of the people of the Xia Dynasty." Su Mian smiled subtly towards Yuan Shi until he hugged the emperor back tightly.

Qing's real soul Er had decided to go following Ji happily, She believed that Su Mian would be better at living her life, so she could not help but, her true love is Ji and meeting that man in Nirvana will be a happiness for her. Su Mian will now live the life of Qing Er to the fullest, although she still does not know how it will be when the mission is completed.

After feeling tired, the two decided to rest and fall asleep together. Qing Er closed her eyes beside Yuan Shi who was still gently stroking her hair. Both of them slept in the room.

Nemo who was on guard saw a horde of suspicious people begin to surround the inn. Even the bodyguards protecting the emperor had been crippled quickly using sleeping pills. Not wanting to be late, Nemo lamgsung's system appeared before Su Mian and woke the woman up.

"Miss wake up, this inn is full of traps. You guys should leave!" Nemo frantically began to tell Su Mian what he saw.

"Emperor, we must leave immediately!" the Pinta Qing' Er who woke Yuan Shi up.

Yuan Shi who was still half-conscious, started to blink his eyes in order to see Qing Er clearly. The arrows pierced through from the curtains towards the inside of their room. Yuan Shi immediately grabbed his sword as well as Su Mian who pulled out his rifle.

"Miss, that's quite a lot. You two won't survive!" Nemo.

"There's no other way but a circle heaven formation!" su Mian exclaimed at Nemo.

"No miss, what if the formation leads you to the wrong place?" asked Nemo anxiously.

"I believe that this formation will lead us to the right place!" exclaim Su Mian. "Help me, Nemo!" continued.

Qing Er immediately grabbed Yuan Shi's hand then made a circle that formed a pattern of heaven circle formation. "Circle of heaven?" muttered Yuan Shi while furrowing his brows in disbelief.

"Have my hand, do you trust me?" Qing Er waited for Yuan Shi's reply.
