“Don't joke, you!” Gabby doesn't want to believe what Marvel says.
“I'm serious, so promise me you will accompany me during my healing process,” said Marvel solemnly.
Gabby stared at the two beads of the man's eyes before her, looking for lies. But nothing, Marvel is really going to stop.
“Come in, let's talk about this inside,” Gabby invites.
Marvel came in and sat down on the couch, while Gabby went to the kitchen to get a drink. Marvel's lips looked dry, so he took some water.
“Why did you suddenly want to stop?” gabby asked, putting a glass of cold water in front of Marvel. “Minum.” He sat in front of Marvel.
Marvel drowned him, he was indeed very thirsty. Maybe he always drank alcohol and never drank mineral water.
“Because I want to live with the person I love, and that person is you,”, Marvel said as he put the glass back on the table.
Gabby knows that, even Marvel has told her love a thousand times. “It will be heavy for you, have you thought about it?” He has to make sure Marvel's resolve to change.
“I've thought about it, I'll stop, I won't reveal who you really are, as long as you promise to be with me and be with me. Maybe we will live poor because of all my income from the dark business, I will open a new business later if you accept me.”
Is it how much Marvel loves Gabby that she is willing to leave her long-time world?
“How? Do you want to promise me?” Marvel repeated the question, because Gabby was silent with a blank eye. There was no answer, he snapped his finger.
“What? You asked what?”
Marvel clucked, “from yesterday you didn't listen to me.”
Marvel repeated the question again.
“I can't promise, because I'm just a normal human being who might one day be able to forget that. But I will work if you really mean it,” Gabby replied. I don't know if it's the right choice or not to try to accept the person who loves him.
At least he should see how much Marvel loves him. Is not God turning His servant's heart back? Maybe one day he can repay Marvel's love.
“OK, I just ask that you keep me company during my healing.”
Gabby nods, “I'll work on.”
There's nothing to talk about with Gabby anymore. The two were silent, no one started the conversation.
“When are you going to start rehab?” Gabby finally started to ask.
“Tomorrow, can you accompany me to consult first?” ask Marvel.
Gabby's looking at the schedule on her phone, it looks like it's empty tomorrow. “I can, but are you going to turn yourself in to the authorities to acknowledge your dark business?”
“Don't be crazy, it's the same I give my life if I give myself.” Marvel was not even suspected at all by the authorities because the warehouse was far from where he lived and he never went down directly there or transacted directly. All done by his men.
“At least you've quit, I appreciate your efforts.”
“Sebentar.” Marvel got off the couch when there was an incoming call.
Gabby saw Marvel listening to people from across the phone. I don't know what was said to make the man's forehead wrinkle, his jaw curl up, and turn towards Gabby.
