Time shows at six in the afternoon. Julie and June are on their way to the restaurant. Both are in a taxi.
"Could Shane have been involved in our accident?" chirps June.
"Come, June. The facts we know now are still minimal" Julie said. The taxi driver looked over. Remembering the girl looks alone but even like she is talking to someone.
Julie quickly picked up the phone. He had almost forgotten that he was chatting with an invisible creature.
"I'm talking on the phone." Without question, Julie gave an excuse.
The taxi driver nodded. Julie then turns to June. It was as if scolding the man for not inviting him to talk. Especially when there are other people with him.
Shortly thereafter, Julie and June arrive at their destination. They went into the restaurant. There was Shane waiting. The man stood up as he watched Julie. Shane's appearance still looks geeky as usual.
"Have you been waiting a long time?" greet Julie.
"I just arrived." Shane held his nape. It was obvious that he felt wrong about his meeting with Julie. "Let's sit down" she asked softly.
Julie nodded. He immediately sat down to the chair that was in front of Shane.
"I'm glad you've improved" Shane said. He wants to build a conversation. But I don't know what to say.
Unknown to Julie, Shane actually came back to the hospital the other day. But by then Julie had already left. Men like Shane always need a reason to meet. So she's so happy Julie's taking her to dinner now.
"Yes, I hope so. Because I don't want to suddenly faint and make our dinner canceled again" Julie responded. Chuckles tasteless.
"I'm so happy." Shane muttered as he did not stop staring at Julie with a twinkle of admiration.
June, who had been observing since, immediately brought her mouth closer to Julie's ears. "Look! Isn't it obvious that she likes you?" whispered.
Julie looked at June. He figured out a way to get Shane to tell him a lot. Especially if the guy likes it, then Shane will certainly tell a lot about Julie's past.
"Shane, there's actually something I want to talk about" Julie said.
"What?" ask Shane curiously.
"But promise me you won't tell anyone" Julie replied.
"Is this something big?"
Shane put on a serious face. So did Julie.
"What do you want to say, Julie? You didn't tell me before," June protested from the side.
Julie is ignoring. He focused on looking towards Shane. "You know I had an accident a year ago, right?" abugn.
"Yes. Does this have anything to do with that?" guess Shane. Spreading her eyelids.
Julie nodded. "I'm having amnesia, Shane! And I only learned that fact yesterday" he said.
"Really? How can you just know that now?" Shane felt disbelief.
"My family purposely covered it up so I wouldn't get hurt. You know that accident that happened to me happened the day that June and I were getting married?" Julie noticed Shane's expression. The same thing June did. Both of them were curious how the man reacted.
"REally?..." Shane looked sad. He lowered his head. "I really don't know about it. Sorry, Julie.." she said.
"It's okay. You know I'm fine" Julie said.
"So, what do you want to ask me for help?" Shane curious.
"I want you to tell me about my High School days. I tried to remember everything, but only a part of it appeared. Honestly, I want to remember a lot of things about memorable memories from a long time ago. Where I often sit, eat, to spend time with friends." Julie explained at length.
"That way, slowly your memory can come back" Shane responded.
"Yes, that's what I mean. I'm actually trying to find my friends. But you seem to be the closest person to me right now. I feel comfortable talking to you, too" Julie said. Makes a smile fluffy on Shane's face. The man's dimples then adorn his cheeks.
"Well, Julie... You turned out to be a good seducer" June commented. He was clearly jealous.
"I-I'll help as much as I can." A Shane certainly wouldn't turn down Julie's request. He has loved that girl for years. The time he got was a golden opportunity.
"thank you. But I can trust you, right?" Julie put on a lookout.
"of course! I won't tell anyone about your problem." Shane was enthusiastic. Her smile is so bright. Like a black cloud in the sun.
Julie smiled broadly. He intends to approach Shane as a friend first. Just in case the man is just a victim who doesn't deserve to be hurt.
June, who was sitting next to Julie, looked sullen. "It turns out it's not as easy as I thought, '" he lamented. He's certainly upset to keep Julie ignored. June is really jealous of Shane.
