Chapter 60 - Guilty, Jealous, & Angry

Julie became a conscious person first. He also immediately pulled his hand. So Shane's grip slipped off.

"Yes already. I'll stay here" Julie said as she sat down on the chair.

Silence enveloped the atmosphere. Outside the rain is getting heavier. Lightning sounded so thunderous too. Julie and Shane are even occasionally shocked by a bolt of ear-splitting lightning.

"It's a good thing you didn't leave" Shane said.

"Yes, if I had left, I would have been caught in the rain" Julie responded.

Unexpectedly, the electricity suddenly went out. Julie is screaming reflexively. Because he who can see ghosts, can see terrible creatures when it is dark.

"Mane!" squeal Julie. He ran over to Shane. Hugged the man's arm while closing his eyes.

Shane's face immediately flushed. He stroked Julie's shoulder. Trying to calm the woman.

"I'm really lucky not to be alone right now." - Julie.

June can certainly see what Julie and Shane are up to. He tried to toughen up and chose to focus on his plan.

June took the time to show up. Julie's eyes were closed. June picked up the book and pen from the nightstand. He wrote something for Shane. When it's over, June immediately shows Shane the message.

With only lightning flash illumination, Shane can read June's message. The message read, "Tell Julie, 'You take it easy. I was right here. I'm not going anywhere even if I have to hold back my urination."

Shane breathed out from his mouth. He immediately uttered the message that June had written. But Julie opened her eyes. He even took off his embrace.

June immediately eliminated herself. She couldn't possibly let herself be seen by Julie. June also did not forget the book containing her message and left.

"You want to pee?" ask Julie. He takes Shane seriously because he rarely jokes.

"Nope-no. It's just a metaphor. I mean I'm not leaving you" Shane said.

Not yet able to reply, a shocking lightning voice sounded. Julie and Shane were shocked again. Julie naturally hugged Shane back.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. The voice of a man calling out the word hello also sounded. There was even light from the gap under the door.

Shane and Julie stand up. Shane was the one who opened the door. It turned out that the person who came was the owner of the motel. He informed her that the storm had caused the power lines at his motel to be disrupted.

"In order to restore the electricity, we have to wait for the experts. But it is not certain when the man arrived here. Because it's possible that he can't leave in this bad weather. So for a while, use this for light." The motel owner handed the lights to Shane.

Despite having the lights on, Julie was still scared. The woman looks alert. He hugged his own body. How not? Ever since then there was a huge ghost with red eyes that kept staring at him.

On the other hand, June knows the big ghost is scaring Julie. But he can't do anything about having to hide his whereabouts from Julie. At least June can act when Julie has slept.

"You okay, Julie?" ask Shane. He knew Julie was scared. The woman's face also looked tired.

"I'm just tired." Julie walked over to the bed. Take off the coat, then stretch yourself there.

"Sleep, Julie.." Shane said. He sat down to the chair.

"If I sleep, what about you? Where are you going to sleep?" ask Julie.

"Don't mind me" replied Shane.

"No! I care about you. Comehere! This bed is big enough to fit two people." Julie shifted. He made room for Shane. That made Shane stunned.

Unlike June who had been observing from above. He was shocked and jealous too.

"But Julie, I..."

"It's okay, Shane. I wouldn't sleep well if I didn't make sure you slept comfortably. I feel guilty." Julie forced.

"Alright.." shane said as he stood up he took off his coat first. Then back to Julie's side. The two of them slanted facing each other. They were staring at each other again.

"Tell me, Shane. What have you been doing since you fell in love with me?" ask Julie. He suddenly felt curious about many things about Shane. Julie also can't stop her heart beating when she's close to Shane.

"Patience. I can only do that. I'm too naive, aren't I?" Shane Response.

Julie fixated. Shane's answer made his heart beat faster. Shane's kindness really touched her heart.

"Yes, you're so patient that I never know you exist. At least you can dare to be my friend in High School" Julie said.

Shane smiled wryly. "That can never be" he said.

"Why?" Julie demands an answer.

"Just can't." Shane doesn't tell her why because she wants to protect June. Because Julie still does not know that June used to be one of the people who often bully Shane.

"Cannot be. There's gotta be a reason" Julie said.

"Maybe because I don't want to ruin your happiness and June's. Didn't I already say this before-" Shane's words came to a halt when Julie's lips landed on her mouth. Give me a soft kiss there.

Meanwhile, June is in the toilet. He sat on the floor and wailed there. Slowly her tears fell. His feelings are now mixed. Guilt, jealousy, and anger are turbulent.
