Something Bad Happened

Andressa confirmed Lorcan's request. After all there was no reason for him to reject Lorcan's request.

After which, Lorcan subconsciously stepped out of the clinic building. But Andressa suddenly held him back.

"Hey, he said you wanted to be examined by me. Come to my room now," Andressa said pulling Lorcan's wrist.

"I'm fine now. You don't have to check on me" Lorcan said, refusing.

"Can't be, you should be examined for fear that your body's condition will worsen if it's not checked."

Lorcan. Simultaneously, he was afraid of being discovered that he was pretending. Lorcan then gestured to Jason to help him out of the situation. However, Jason deliberately turned his eyes away as if he was unconscious by Lorcan's gesture.

'Shit! Watch out for you later, Jason!' Lorcan grumbled inwardly as he glared at Jason.

By the time Lorcan was dragged into Andressa's room, Calvin suddenly came rushing over to the girl.

"Miss, there's an emergency patient!" Calvin told her in a panic.

"Emergency patient?" Sontak Andressa took off the grip of his hand from Lorcan. "How's the condition?"

"The patient is a little boy, he fell from the second floor." Calvin explains the patient in detail.

"It looks like he needs surgery" Andressa murmured. "I'm sorry, Lorcan. It seems I can't check on you today. Please just have another healer check on you. Now I have to go handle the patients."

Lorcan heaved a sigh of relief. Akhrinya, he does not have to worry anymore Andressa will scold him if caught lying.

"Yes, it's okay. You better focus on your patients. I can check with your subordinates."

"All right, I'm sorry and I'm leaving first."

"I'm glad I survived this time. It is inconceivable that Andressa was angry that I was pretending to be sick in order to meet her. Oh yeah, I've got to figure out a calculation with Jason."

At night, Andressa and a number of other healers were seen still in the clinic. The girl decided to go to work at night because her mind was too messed up that she needed something that could distract her.

"Miss, aren't you going home? Though tonight you have no schedule in the clinic," asked Amelia.

"No, I plan on spending the night here. There's still so much to do anyway" Andressa replied.

"Well then, now I'll go home first, miss. My work is done, so I'm sorry to leave you at the clinic."

"Yes, gohome. Anyway why did you move to a house a little further away from the clinic? You can stay in my house."

Amelia laughed awkwardly.

"Not too far, if the walk only takes fifteen minutes. I don't want to trouble you, Miss. It would be more convenient if I rented my own home. The money from the salary you give is so excessive that it's a pity if I don't use it well."

Andressa sighed.

"All right, it's up to you. Be careful on the road and tomorrow don't be late."

Amelia bowed at a glance then hurriedly went outside from the clinic. Now Andressa had no friends to chat with because the other healers were busy as well.

In the middle of the night, something bad happened to her clinic.
