Gibson handed a bag of gold coins to Andressa. The girl was a little shocked at the amount of money.
"The family of Duke Fidel is indeed rich. All right, I'll take this." Without thinking, Andressa immediately took the money from Gibson's hands. "You can leave now that your business is done, right?"
Andressa kicked Gibson out of the clinic. He did not want to see Gibson's face for longer because it would remind him of the man's insolent attitude. However, Gibson was reluctant to leave before he could talk to Andressa.
"Wait a minute! There's something I want to ask you," Gibson said, holding Andressa back.
Andressa twisting lazy eyeball. Though he wanted to quickly go up again to the top floor, but this man even blocked him.
"What else is it? Speak quickly here!" insist Andressa.
"Are you sure you want to be the emperor's fiancee? I mean, you know for yourself how the nobles treat you, right? Please think carefully about your decision to get engaged to the emperor."
Andressa has been lazy to discuss this issue. He only wanted to be engaged to Lorcan for a while, but there were a lot of problems that he was facing.
"It's none of your business! I decided it myself, which means I am ready to accept any consequences. Don't piss me off because you keep trying to break my decision."
Andressa responded very unfriendly. Gibson seemed accustomed to Andressa's attitude like that. He didn't feel offended in the least. The girl was deliberately rude so that Gibson would stay away from her. However, the opposite happened.
"Well, if that's your decision. I'm sorry, I should have realized sooner your feelings. Can't you give me another chance? Let me make amends."
Gibson's face was filled with regret. Andressa didn't care how much regret she had. For him, men who hurt women do not deserve a chance.
"A chance? You're not kidding, are you? How can you give a chance to someone like you? Enjoy your own suffering. I don't want any more relationship with you." Andressa responded strongly.
"No chance, huh? I-i understand. Then I'll say goodbye. Thank you for talking to me even if you had to."
Gibson slowly turned around leaving Andressa's clinic. One distraction has gone, but after that comes another distraction: the arrival of Camille. This sister has always wanted to be involved in Andressa's life.
"What exactly did you do until the emperor was captivated by you? Did you brainwash the emperor so he'd go crazy about you?"
Andressa was so shocked that she herself forgot how to express her shock.
"Huh? What nonsense are you saying? Are you crazy?!" Andressa was angry and mingled with annoyance.
"I'm not crazy! You're the one who's crazy! I wonder what you have done to the emperor? Why would he be engaged to a commoner like you? Something must be wrong here. Be honest with me!"
Camille's expression looks funny. Andressa almost laughed at Camille's words.
"Are you a child? How can you have such a short mind? Gosh, that's the importance of reading a book so that your insight increases and does not look stupid like this," Andressa said to Camille.
"Excession!" Camille snapped at Andressa. "I'm not stupid! How dare you say I'm stupid! You don't act as if you've won over me for winning the emperor's heart."
Waw! Camille was furious. It was obvious that he was actually jealous of what Andressa got. She refuses to acknowledge that Andressa is superior to her and refuses to acknowledge Andressa's charm as a woman.
Hearing Camille's shrill voice yell at him, Andressa chuckled. It's nice to see Camille reacting like that to her teasing.
"If you're not stupid, then you won't come to me here. You should have prepared yourself to set me up instead of wasting your energy scolding me. It shows that your brain is empty and only filled with wind."
Camille's two hands clenched tightly, she prepared to hit Andressa's head, but the girl instead deliberately stood away from him.
"Are you trying to ignite the flames of my anger? It seems free to me that I approached you here. I still believe that you used a foul trick so that the emperor would be with you. Just look, I'll have the emperor hooked on me before you officially become empress."
Camille gives Andressa a bluff. Does he care about that little bluff? Sure didn't. While not interfering with his activities as a healer and not disturbing the peace of the patients, Andressa decided to ignore this woman. After all, it's only a waste of time if he's serving Camille's stupidity that no longer exists.
"Please if you can. I'm not sure you can win against me" Andressa said with a slanted smile.
"All right, you just wait."
Camille turned her body, she left the clinic, stomping her feet on the floor until she made a disturbing sound in the calm atmosphere. There is no adult at all, just like a child who is not obeyed by his orders.
"That's it. I don't think I have to fight nobles like this. I should've just made him unable to speak forever" Andressa murmured.
After meeting Camille, he returned to his room. Lion was still there spending the entire snack originally reserved for him.
"Why haven't you left yet? Don't you have a lot of work?" ask Andressa.
"Yes, my work is still a lot and piling up, but I need a little time to relax. I'm here to ask you, have you collected a lot of magic tools that are scattered in this world?"
Andressa sighed. He took out one by one the magic tools that had been collected for some time recently.
"I only got this and it wasn't even a useful magic tool. You just take everything, I don't need these tools."
"All right, let me keep it."
In an instant the magic tool disappeared from Andressa's desk. Lion takes her back to his home world.
"Oh yeah, that comatose patient why don't you try to recover him using your magic? You should be able to do it, right?" Lion asked, looking curious.
"Because I can't do it. It took a considerable mana to recover it completely. So I can only do it slowly. Maybe he will recover completely after a few days. You know for yourself this world doesn't have much energy supply. It's pretty hard for me to carelessly use healer magic while there are still a lot of patients that I need to deal with" Andressa explained.
Andressa was silent for a split second looking at Lion.
"Tumben. Where are you going? What should I help you with?" Andressa seemed reluctant to accept Lion's request while not burdensome.
"Now the conditions of the universe are getting chaotic. I want you to re-examine all regions of the world. Take it easy, I'll give you the teleportation spell paper because I think magical monsters still roam the world through the portal. Hows it? You can do that, right?"
Andressa thought for a moment, she could not answer him immediately. However, after thinking over and over again, it felt like there was no harm in helping Lion because he had some free time ahead.
"You didn't disappear for long, did you? I can help you if you don't take too long to take care of your work."
Lion breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thank God. I'm only gone for a while, maybe about three weeks. I'll be back by the time you leave for the healer's meeting in the Dorton Empire" Lion said.
"Yes, it's okay then."
Lion's load felt light instantly. Tumben once Andressa can be asked for help like this. But Lion didn't think much of it.
"thank you. And also I ask you to be careful because maybe the enemy will ask you openly." Lion gave a serious message ahead of him returning to the dimensional barrier wall.
"Enemies? Hey, do you know who my enemy is? I think he's been bothering me too much the whole time I've been here."
"I won't tell you now. You'll find out for yourself. There are many secrets that have not been revealed. So, please prepare yourself to accept the reality that might surprise you later. Now that I'm saying good, take care of yourself."
Lion's countenance before disappearing went serious. Andressa thought about this. Until now he still did not know who the real enemy was here.
'I hope I can find out later. To be honest, I was disturbed by Lion's words just now.'
***
Lion had currently arrived at the dimensional dividing wall. He and his other colleagues are busy with a myriad of jobs. Lion can only be patient for a while until the work is done.
"Lion, how's Andressa doing? She's okay, right?" ask one of Lion's co-workers.
"Yes, he's fine. Why are you suddenly asking about him? Usually you and the others don't care much about it either" Lion replied sounding unfriendly.
"We were curious because somehow the girl is the soul we have to watch over. We can't lose his soul again. The cementa realm would be even more chaotic if he managed to escape through the gap of the dimensional wall."
Lion sighed heavily, his eyes glaring at the annoyance of his friends.
"Isn't this from the beginning due to your negligence? If only you had kept a good eye on the dimensional barrier wall, this mess would never have happened."
All of the Lion's comrades were inscribing regretful mimicry from their faces.
"Yes, we know that. But the girl also made a mistake. His soul was angry and raged as the angel of death was about to take him to the afterlife. As a result of his anger, somehow his soul even made the dimensional barrier wall become damaged. We're sorry, but he's much more wrong" another Lion co-worker said.
"He was wrong, but he won't remember his mistake. After all from the beginning he was a soul that rejected the death of himself and the death of those he cared about. Now he has returned to his original world. We've helped him get back to the time he still doesn't know anything. Take it easy, thanks to the memories of his past in several lives, maybe this time he can successfully create his own happiness."
Hearing Lion's response, they felt a little calmer. Here Lion's position is at a high level than all of them so the Lion's order is a must for them to do.
"Is there any chance he remembers his first life? We have helped turn back time, but unfortunately due to the dimensional chaos, we cannot return the entire magic energy to its original place. Maybe this world will be more chaotic than his first life."
"Yes, it might be like that. However, there is no point in you worrying about him. Just worry about yourself because Andressa always has a way of dealing with her problems. I'm sure, even though he regained his first-life memories, he must have had other plans in his brain" Lion assured his colleagues.
They exchanged glances, maybe what Lion said was true as well.
"Alright, let's trust Andressa. May he not destroy our hopes for him and may all this chaos come to an end so that we do not have to go through the hard days."
That was how they finally accepted Lion's thought. Although Lion seemed to not care about Andressa, but actually he always selfish the girl so he was reckless to do anything so that Andressa could live a quieter life.
'Enough complicate. The twists and turns of Andressa's life this time will weigh him down. I hope she can meet her parents soon and marry the man she loves. This is all I can do to help her.'
A few hours later, Lion and his partner were suddenly struck by a rift in the dimensional barrier wall. They ran to and fro helping to ease the shock.
"Ah, fuck! What the hell is going on? Quickly go to the control room! Try to control this shock. I don't know why, I feel a bad feeling."
They're scattering. Fear befalls them, but they can't just stop. When the strong wind hits. At a glance, between the winds, there is a flow of mana that enters this world. His flow of mana spread throughout the world in an instant.
"Lion, how's this? Is there nothing we can do? The mana energy that entered through the dimensional wall rift exceeded the previous amount. If we let this happen, maybe the destruction of the universe will come closer."
Lion looked dizzy. He has no solution for now. However, he tried to keep thinking of finding another solution.
"You stay here! Reduce the gap so that mana energy does not enter more. I will go to block some of the energy which has already been spread out. Worry not! At least we can minimize the worst that could happen later."
"Alright, we'll work on it."
Lion also moves away to block the flow of mana. He was anxious as to which energy this could get to the irresponsible human body. The world could be destroyed in the near future if it is not stopped immediately.
"I must hurry! Don't let me be fooled again."
