Chaptre 01. The Genius Project's
Putri Berlian is an eighteen-year-old girl who has a beautiful face and capable intelligence. Although he comes from a simple family and seems poor, but his determination is great for
being able to take higher education is not fading. He managed to enter the prestigious university in the city of Jakarta, namely Avicenna University by majoring in law. He chose law because he aspired to become a prosecutor.
It had been almost a semester, Lian, as soon as the girl was called, was in a big city with all the bustle and bustle of city activities. Today Lian felt very lazy to go to campus. Not without reason, but because a few days ago he was caught up in a decision that he took in a hurry.
While crossing the campus, the net was fixed on a contest that was stuck on the wall about a project from the medical department themed Genius Project. The project was led by a professor named Gerald Rayyan. Lian was interested because it was written a very large reward for the selected student. Without thinking, Lian immediately registered and was declared qualified to follow the next stage.
At first Lian was not suspicious at all because the project was carried out by the campus. Luckily he read carefully all the sheets of the agreement he would sign.
His eyes were perfectly rounded when he saw the points in the project.
"What's this?! Contain?" lian couldn't believe it.
"What's wrong? Do you mind, Miss?" said Gerald Rayyan, a 64-year-old man whose hair has turned white.
"But, this is a campus project. How can this senseless project be accomplished?"
"You don't need to know much about this, Miss."
"I'm a law student. I can sue you if you do an illegal project like this!" sternly Lian was fiery.
"The decision is in your hands, Miss. You'll regret it if you dare to violate or report about this project."
Lian could only sigh violently. He realized that he was just a poor student who got a scholarship to study. What happens if the pride of his parents is lost because the scholarship is revoked? There is no other choice but to agree.
"Now you can go. Tomorrow come back here to sign our contract."
With a gontai step Lian returned to her dorm. He really wanted to tell her about his current heartbreak to his roommate, Riana Dea. Riana is a medical student. He must have known Professor Gerald Rayyan.
But again Lian could not do anything. He has promised not to divulge anything about this illegal project. Finally Lian began to realize, he was elected because he was weak and poor. The powerful easily use it.
And this is where Lian is now. He was faced with sheets of paper that he had to sign because he was tempted by the amount of money offered.
"Hurry sign it!" The heavy voice of the old man broke Lian's daydream.
Lian closed her eyes for a moment before she picked up the ballpoint pen. With a trembling hand Lian put her signature on the covenant paper.
Gerald smiled with satisfaction after Lian's approval.
"All right, now come with them. You'll have to do some tests before the seeds are planted in your womb."
Two women held onto Lian's arm and took her away from there.
"Wait a minute!" said Lian brushed off the hands of the two people who were beside her.
"May I ask you one thing?" lian.
"What?"
"Who is the seed you're going to plant in my womb?"
Lian's question made Gerald pull the corner of his lips.
"You don't need to know, Miss. Because after you got pregnant and gave birth to that baby, you didn't have to be in touch with us anymore. You can move on with your life and reach your goal of becoming a prosecutor. You just calm down. You are still declared a virgin despite having gone through the phases of pregnancy and childbirth." explains Gerald.
It's just free Lian asked. Because he won't get any answers. Now all she can do is pray and hope that all these trials will not work and fail to get her pregnant.
Lian's days are filled with living in a room called an observation room that is nuanced all white.
"This place is similar to the isolation room of mental hospital patients. How could they put me here?" lian grumbled that she could do nothing but just shut up and occasionally walked around her room.
In his days of solitude, Lian had thought about what kind of crazy man asked her to contain his seeds. Was he mentally ill, or just wanted to play a game with such a poor and weak girl?
And when that day came, Lian felt her entire life had collapsed. Her future has been forcibly snatched away though not by having intercourse. He thinks it's the same. Because basically he must contain the seeds of a man.
Gerald orders a woman who looks like a nurse to sedate Lian. After one injection, Lian began to go unconscious. His body is weak and helpless. And that's when the seed of a man named Vincent Roy Avicenna was put into Lian's womb.
