Good riddance! I think they will fail in this task. I think they're gonna get a kick straight out of Greyworth. Fortunately, Kino and Miko's abilities are recognized so that they can enter the academy as students. I finally got more points. Really, 2,400 points feels good for someone who has just become an admin. Using it to make up for some skills might not be a bad idea.
Back to the story, right now I just follow them from behind and keep my distance. The people of this world cannot see me, whereas they can see my body in transparent colors. I don't want to disturb them. I didn't want them to think of me as someone perverted for going into a girls' school as a guy. Not to mention, I have a body that is translucent and cannot be seen by everyone.
Right now the three of them are following Greyworth to the principal's office. Administrative work needs to be done anyway. For Ellis Fahrengart, he was still in the forest to search for his contracted spirit. The spirit headed to the middle of nowhere and disappeared while thinking Kino was still on track. Too bad for him to have a spirit that has a bird brain.
*lex!*
The door opened, and they entered the office before it closed again. I pierced through the wall using this transparent body and eavesdropped on the conversation between them.
Greyworth sat down in her chair before saying, "Alright, let's talk more about your registration." He held his hands on the table. "You have an unclear origin and purpose. Besides, one of you has a unique ability and the other one has a strange weapon. I won't ask you more about weapons, origin, or how strong your fighting abilities are. I just want to know what you want."
"We just want to learn. No more and no less," Kino replied without pausing.
"That's all?" Greyworth could not believe this brief explanation.
"Yes, that's all." Kino nodded slowly. "After all, this academy is the best academy we know of. We think there will be a lot to learn from this place. We really have no other intention than to just learn."
"Hmm. There is nothing wrong with studying, but this is a formal education institute. We are here also looking for payment, it is impossible if you provide education for free. We are not charitable to you. Do you have anything you can use that's worth paying for in this place?" Greyworth grinned at the three of them.
The three were silent for a moment. There are no precious things that they bring into this world. A cellphone? Miko was in the toilet before, she was just carrying what was on her body. Rikka's? Still a bad idea to give away a cell phone. The problem is that the phone will not be of much use in this world. It is highly doubtful that people from this world can replicate cell phones. It would only discontent Greyworth and ask for something else.
"I'll give you the blueprints of my weapon" Kino said quickly.
"Oh, I still haven't seen clearly what your weapon can do."
"The ability of my weapon is to fire small projectiles as an attack. This thing does not require magic in using it, in other words the weapon is suitable for many people to use. Unlike the spirit users, where they must be holy girls," explained Kino.
"Hmm..use quantity to resist quality. An attack from your weapon can give you a pretty quick shot and it seems painful. The attack was still not enough to defeat or penetrate Simorgh's defenses, but I guess it was enough as a weapon when fighting lower level spirits. Pretty interesting."
*lex!*
"Good, what a coincidence that you're here." Greyworth was pleased with the arrival of the knights or perhaps he had already demoted to Greyworth's errand. "I want you to show me where their room is, and give them some uniforms. In addition, give them some knight rations for dinner."
'Rationsum?' The three of them immediately reflected on the military food with a bad taste.
Well, not that I can read their minds or anything like that. I just guessed from their eyes that were pointing upwards, looking at the ceiling with flat eyes and looking dead. It is not strange if they think like that, because from the beginning the ration is more concerned with the fulfillment of nutrition than taste. I began to wonder, do I need food in this world? My body is not a physical body.
Army rations (English: Individual Combat Rations) are pre-saji or canned foods that are easy to prepare and eat. It is usually carried by military forces on the battlefield.
"What! Did you enter them into this academy, Principal?" Ellis accidentally hit the table and said using a high tone.
Well, he's been brave against Greyworth, yeah. If I can guess, what Greyworth says next is, "Do you dare make me repeat my words?" I've watched the anime even though my memory is a bit vague.
"Enough, do you dare make me repeat my words?" Greyworth's eyes were fixed on Ellis.
The atmosphere of the atmosphere here became tense and hot as the words fell. I myself who was not a Greyworth interlocutor felt very depressed because of those words. This is the difference between adults and children. My age and experience could not defeat Greyworth who was over forty years old.
"Ti-No." The knight's guts instantly shrieked with just an eye without action.
Greyworth is the principal. Fighting him will only get you kicked out of this school. In addition, another nickname for Greyworth is "Dusk Witch (/\= Witch of the Twilight)". He is also one of the former members of the number. It was foolish and risky to fight him when he was in a position far inferior to him.
"In that case, quickly bring them to prepare their residences." The head of the academy threw his attention away from Ellis, and continued, "Day is almost dark and I still have to take care of their documents. Don't add to my work here."
"Alright, Principal," Ellis replied softly.
And with that, it finally ended the story of the three of them attempting to enter the Areishia Spirit Academy. All three managed to enter and become students in this academy, with this their mission could continue peacefully and peacefully. I can be peaceful for the rest... or not, huh?
Somehow Kino looked at me cynically as she turned around at the exit.
