Chapter 94

Ustad Samsul came out of his house and invited Devon, his nephew, to sit in the living room.Devon followed his uncle's invitation.

Arriving at the house of a child Ustad Samsul who women come to bring warm tea and some kind of traditional cakes.

Ustad Samsul invited Devon to taste the cake made by Ida. Devon tried it and felt it matched the taste of the traditional cake.

While tasting the cake Devon explained his arrival to his mama.

Ustad Samsul happily and patiently listened to all Devon's grievances.

Devon tells about Mika and how to get back together with his wife and three children.

Ustad Samsul explains what to do and what Devon should not do. The many things and examples that Samsul told Devon, one of his daughters who served drinks and cakes to Devon.

Ustad Samsul tells how his son struggled to overcome lust and surrender to God.

Samsul's son was a widow who lived in her husband because he did not get pregnant after 12 years of marriage. Ida is very different from the women in general that Devon and everyone has seen so far.

Ida is an example for us to accept to sincerity and always thank God.

Ustad Samsul explains in more detail the story of his son's journey to open Devon's eyes.

Ustad Samsul reminisces about his son's past. About 12 years ago a Jakarta man came to the ponpes to find a wife. When he saw Ida, the man immediately fell in love with Ida and a week after the meeting Ida in his marriage.

The man is a businessman from Jakarta. At first Ida hesitates with the man, but with her insistence and full of confidence the man proves his affection for Ida. Long story short, this marriage happened. Ida was invited to live in her husband's house. Everything was harmonious in the marriage of Ida and her husband at that time.

Ida survives an unfair marriage for her until the 5th marriage of Ida's husband remarries for the third time with a very young woman.

The second wife of Ida's husband did not accept and asked for a divorce, but not with Ida. He tried to accept that injustice by always being kind to God.

Ida's wedding day was up to 10 years. Ida's husband again married 2 women at once who are kaka and sister.

Initially as usual Ida tried to accept the injustice until one night Ida was expelled by her husband for slander made by her three young wives.

Ida wandered the streets of the capital, until she met a good person. For the good of someone Ida was delivered to the bus terminal and given the cost of returning home to the village.

After that Ida lived a separate household with her husband.Just 12 years of marriage Ida came divorce papers from her husband.

Ida still looks stoic and calm. He was just surrendering to God for everything that happened in his life.

Ustad Samsul who did not receive his son treated like that wanted to make a calculation with his ex-husband.

But indeed an Ida sentence made Samsul aware and accepted Ida's decision.

"Sir, for what we are angry with people whose lives can never distinguish peace and for what we demand of humans while we have God who is everything" Ida said.

Ida said loudly without any sadness and disappointment in the least.

Ustad Samsul asked his son.

"But the man has hurt your heart son" said Ustad Samsul.

"Let me know how much humiliation and betrayal he has done to me, but know sir that God has never in the least diminished the favor that I feel to this day" Ida said.

Ustad Samsul cries when his son is more grateful than busy counting his sadness that is nothing in his life.

After finishing telling the story, Samsul ustad returned to their initial topic of conversation. Ustad Samsul asked Devon.

"Son, mamang has told the story of your cousin kaka as a picture in this life, do you understand the meaning of the story mamang?" ask ustad Samsul.

"Yes mang, Ida's kaka story there is similar to my story, only I am a man-fuck like Ida's ex-husband kaka" said Devon with embarrassment.

Ustad Samsul went on to ask Devon to surrender to God, no matter what happens, it will be the best of His will.

"Yes mang, I understand the meaning of mamang, God willing I will be sincere with everything and continue to improve myself hoping for God's pleasure in this life" said Devon.

"It's good if you already know that and start by praying for your wife and children" said Ustad Samsul.

"Yes, thank you for all the advice you gave me" replied Devon.

Devon leaves Ustad Samsul's house. Devon attempted to surrender and be sincere after hearing the example of sincerity from his extraordinary cousin's kaka.
