Loving Husband Interlude

Loving Husband Interlude
66. Mala Give birth

Abah sat pensively on the porch of the house, he thought about the fate of his daughter-in-law who is now no longer working. Umi Dila approached her husband with a cup of coffee and a snack.

"What are you thinking?" ask umi Dila.

"Tomorrow to go to Azam's house" said Abah.

"Yes, too much consideration, this is how it is. He is now at will, umi was sorry for mercy." said Umi Dila.

"It's just talking to umi, not scolding her" said Abah.

"Yes, you wanna talk or what. The important thing is to quickly meet Azam, long if you do not go too. Umi's going to her house" said Umi Dila threatening.

Abah turned to his wife, seeing the middle-aged woman was upset. He took the coffee at the table and sipped it slowly.

"Iya umi, it was indeed that time you had to be assigned Kyai Sholeh out of town. Should replace his lecture there." said abah.

"Yes, but after coming home from there. Abah didn't go straight to Azam's house either" said Umi Dila, still upset.

Abah took a deep breath, knowing that his wife was furious with her ex-daughter-in-law. But this time you have to see Azam, whether he is busy looking for a way to avoid police punishment by hiring a lawyer. I don't know.

Meanwhile, Azam was still in his office. He got word that he had to finish his business with the police and also gave an account of the fire. Not to mention that this morning she got a phone call too if Mala had experienced contractions to give birth.

Everything makes Azam dizzy, he suspends coming to the police after delivering Mala to the hospital for the delivery of his son.

Bi Darsih who faithfully accompanied Mala also worried and worried about the condition of Mala who never gave birth. Still just contraction and just five opening.

"Bi, it hurts so much. Will he be born safe?" mala asked withstanding the pain of her stomach contractions.

"Prophe mom, everyone giving birth must be sick. That's why a child must be devoted to his parents because pregnancy and childbirth pain is extraordinary" said bi Darsih calms Mala.

"I only realized when I used to make my mother angry, and instead I ran away to a friend's house for days. Then bang Ridho followed me to go home, it felt like this was the pain of giving birth. Eeeuh .." said Mala withstood the turbulent pain.

"Yes ma'am, a husband should understand how much a wife struggles to bear children. The pain is overwhelming, but sometimes men don't think about it. They are just happy and happy that their child has been born and proud to have children. Don't know what it's like to get pregnant and give birth" said bi Darsih.

"Kodrat a woman bi, aaaah" said Mala.

Bi Darsih continued to stroke Mala's back to feel calm. He kept looking at the door. Waiting for Azam came to accompany his wife who was struggling to give birth to her child.

"Has Azam come yet?" asked Mala while grimacing.

"Not yet ma'am, maybe it's on the road" said bi Darsih.

"Maybe she was busy and forgot that I was going to give birth to her child" Mala said.

"There's no way ma'am, Azam must have come. Aunty told me about the news and said she would come here" said bi Darsih.

"Please call my brother bi, maybe he can help me" Mala said again.

He did not expect much for Azam to come. Some days Azam was busy, Mala did not know the busyness of Azam at this time. Even he did not know Azam's work in his office.

Mala has taken Azam further and further away from him. After giving birth, Mala will talk to her husband. That she's going home to her brother, Ridho. That's Mala's plan that hasn't been talked about with bi Darsih.

The obstetrician and two nurses entered the delivery room. He checked the bottom of Mala, whether the opening had been an addition or still at number five.

"Where's mom's husband? How come it's not visible?" ask doctor.

"Still in the office, doctor. Ssshh."

"Have you been in contact?" ask the doctor again.

"It's the doctor, maybe it's jammed." replied bi Darsih.

"Soally the mother still has not opened it, if until tonight it has not been added then the mother must be in cesarean section" said obstetrician.

"Wait for his father to come first doc, do not operate anymore" said bi Darsih.

"Yes, so please call again. Because later the operation had to be approved by her mother's husband."

"Yes doctor, I will call again" said bi Darsih.

While Mala was still grimacing in pain, she rolled right and left. Bi Darsih felt pity, but that was how the woman who was struggling to bear a child.

Suddenly Azam went into the delivery room. He saw Mala was frightened and in pain, he was stunned to see his wife who was rolling in the ward with pain.

"Have you not given birth yet, bi?" ask Azam.

"Yes, maybe the baby is waiting for his father to come" said bi Darsih.

Azam was silent, he approached Mala. He saw Mala who was closed withstanding the excruciating pain, her hand clasping Mala's hand.

Mala opened her eyes, surprised to see Azam holding her hand giving her strength.

"What do you feel?" ask Azam.

"It hurts." replied Mala.

"It hurts?" ask Azam again.

"It hurts like my bones want to get rid of everything."

Azam was silent, he looked at his wife's face. Imagine since he was rejected by Najwa, he silenced Mala a lot. Without talking to her, or just eating breakfast. Everything he avoids because of the annoyance, anger and also disappointed meddling into one moment.

He took it all out on Mala, until his wife thought she didn't want it anymore. Although she knew that Najwa had returned to her husband and was officially married.

"Eeeeuh, bi Darsih! Sakiiit!" yell Mala.

He instead called bi Darsih, a maid in Azam's house who had been loyal to accompany and help him. Azam was stunned, why his wife actually asked for help on bi Darsih. It wasn't on her that was clearly already in front of her.

"Bi Darsih, aaaah!"

"Please ma'am, I'll call the doctor. Maybe it has added the opening, and bi Darsih was immediately out to call the obstetrician.

"I'm sorry, Mala." said Azam.

"Eeeuh, uh uh uh. Aaaah, I can't take it anymore!" yell Mala.

Azam was confused as to what to do. He just stroked his wife's stomach, he felt a very tight movement in Mala's stomach.

Before long the doctor came, he immediately checked the state of Mala. The blood and water have already ruptured, the doctor checks with his hand. He then told the two nurses to get everything ready. Mala's delivery will be in lakuka soon.

"It's complete yes, it does not take long to complete opening. My mother will guide me to push, and my father accompanied his wife. Encourage the mother to also join the spirit to remove the baby" said the doctor.

"Yes the doctor" Azam said.

The doctor was wearing gloves, the two nurses were standing on the left right side of the doctor. Everything seemed tense, bi Darsih also witnessed the delivery of Mala.

"On the count of three, the mother immediately pushed yes. One, two, three!"

"Geeeeeeeeuh!"

"Yes, again ma'am. One, two, three!"

"Geeeeeeee!"

Oek! Oek! Oek!

"Alhamdulillah!"

Gratitude all after the baby came out safely. Azam himself looked puzzled, he saw the baby who was already in the hands of the nurse. Then she looked at Mala who was exhausted from struggling to get her baby out safely.

There was a sense of haru in Azam, he stroked Mala's head and smiled happily.

"Thank you, and forgive me" Azam said.

Mala just stared at her husband's weakness, then she closed her eyes. The doctor told Azam to come out and wait for his son to be arrested by him.
