PoV Nilam

Alex and I were in a restaurant for lunch when I suddenly got a message from Aldi.

At first I thought he would greet me and say that he misses me. But it turned out that he had only sent out a document without giving any explanation.

'What is this document?' my thinking.

While eating lunch in front of us, I started to open the document and read the contents of the document.

I was so shocked after reading the contents that it even instantly choked me.

"What's wrong with you?" Alex asked who gave me water.

I immediately drank the water and rubbed my chest.

"What's wrong?" Ask Alex again.

I then looked at Alex sharply which made Alex even more confused.

"You why?" Ask Alex again. "Don't tell me you're starting to turn around because you saw my new look." Further.

"Damn it!" I immediately patted her shoulder.

My face was hot considering the contents of the document I was reading. I didn't expect Lila to have done all that. It's only fitting that Alex has always warned me by saying that Lila is a two-faced woman.

I gave my phone to Alex.

I was so shocked when Alex kicked down the table filled with our food. Even the other visitors at the restaurant looked at us in surprise. I clenched my hand in apology for making them surprised.

"I told you that Lila is a two-faced woman. But you don't want to believe me. Now you see the evidence for yourself." Alex said with anger.

I really couldn't hold back my tears that just fell down my cheeks.

"Stop crying. At least you know what the real character of the woman you've been calling your best friend is." Alex told me.

"Where are you?" I asked in a voice that tried not to shake with anger.

"I'm at the gym. What's up?" Reply Lila.

"Can we meet? I want to confide in you." My speech.

"of course. Anything for my best friend." Reply Lila again.

"Meet me in the city park." My speech.

"certain." The reply.

Phone connection disconnected. Alex and I walked out of the restaurant without finishing our meal. I'm not in the mood to eat after knowing everything. I wanted to meet Lila and ask her why she did all this to me.

Fifteen minutes later, we reached the park and waited for Lila's arrival. I kept asking Alex to calm down, because from the beginning he was telling me that he wanted to beat Lila in the face.

After waiting for ten minutes, Lila finally came with a wide smile on her face. But when he saw Alex's figure, his smile immediately disappeared.

"Why is he here?" Lila pointed at Alex.

"Because I'm Nilam's best friend." Reply Alex furious.

Lila approached towards me and immediately hugged me.

"It's been a while since we met. Miss you. How's Leon doing and how's it at your house? Then how's your relationship with Aldi?" Lila said looking at me with a lot of questions.

"Curtain! You snake!" Said Alex.

"What do you mean?" Shouted Lila.

Lila was about to move closer to Alex. I directly blocked Lila.

"Stop." My speech.
