(Season 2) 21. POV Rizky - The Lazy Face
...Two Years Passed...
It does not feel like two years have I accompanied the days of Rendi here. Early in the morning I was accompanied by Anna to come to the hospital, this is the day where the bandage will be opened after almost 20 surgeries.
Surgery is not done 20 times in a row, but gradually improve the shape of the face. But I've never seen at all what it looks like.
Because the doctor himself said, if the operation is finished then I can see it directly. Hope the results are good.
I sat in the long chair in front of the VVIP treatment room with Anna, waiting for the Doctor to come.
He deliberately asked me not to feel bored living in Korea waiting for sick people. The weather here is different from in Indonesia, much cooler. I also need warmth every night, it might be useful for Anna to accompany me.
"Riz.... Where is the doctor why for so long, I can't wait to see your friend's new face. Will he be more handsome than you?" Anna asked as she rubbed her chin, it was still morning that she had started teasing me.

Suddenly the sound of my phone rang, I took it from my pants pocket. It says Dion's name in front of the screen.
"Hello... Mr. Rizky, good morning. How is Mr Rendi?" Ask Dion.
"From now on don't call that name Dion. I've changed it, have you forgotten?"
"Ah sorry. I mean Mr Reymond, is the operation smooth sir? Me and Melly can't wait to see Mr. Reymond's face."

"Sure, please....." His mouth opened the door.

Anna and I entered the room. Rendi was also awake yet she was still lying down.
I helped him sit down and leaned his back on the edge of the patient's bed.
"Where are you Ren? Does your face hurt so much." Ask me, Rendi's face is still wrapped in bandages. Only the nostrils, eyes and lips are visible.
"No Riz, my face went numb, it didn't feel anything." Slowly flowed. He looks so hard to talk.
I looked at the Doctor.
