Yao Han again observed the Celestial Emperor Sword more closely. His forehead shriveled after a while and his face showed confusion.
The thick rust attached to the Celestial Emperor Sword was slightly reduced, especially on the hilt. After silently thinking for quite a while, Yao Han shook his head softly as he did not find an answer to the oddity on the sword.
"Although this Celestial Emperor Sword includes an Immortal Heirloom sword, I don't think anyone would be willing to attempt to seize it. Seen from any angle, whether it was fleeting or more meticulous, it still looked like an ordinary rusty sword that could not be used and was very worth throwing away."
Due to its appearance, the Celestial Emperor Sword was indeed more properly referred to as a trash sword. If not looking directly at the way the sword was retrieved that was difficult, Yao Han and the others would have thought the Celestial Emperor Sword as an Immortal Heirloom sword was nonsense.
"Look on the bright side. Han'er was one of the chosen ones. This Celestial Emperor Sword had already found the right owner."
Yao Han smiled faintly at Meirong who gently stroked her hair.
"How do we clear this sword, Master?"
Before Meirong could answer, Chen Long first interrupted.
"A heirloom that just anyone can't touch is difficult to clean up in the usual way. Especially that rusty sword, perhaps to clean it would consume no small amount of resources."
Chen Long's explanation made Yao Han scratch his non-itchy head. Tian Jian and Meirong who were more skilled in matters related to swords approved Chen Long's expansion.
Yao Han glanced at the Celestial Emperor Sword for a moment then stupefied an idea. He injured his finger and poured a drop of blood on the sword which turned out to be reacting. The Celestial Emperor Sword trembled for two seconds before silence returned.
"You made a blood contract?" Yao Han nodded slowly. "In that case, other than you, no one else can use that sword unless you're dead and there's another chosen one."
Tian Jian tried to prove the truth of Chen Long's remark. Yao Han lent the Celestial Emperor Sword and after changing hands, Tian Jian felt the sword was extremely heavy. His hand was pulled downwards, following the Celestial Emperor Sword that was thrusting somewhat deep into the ground.
Tian Jian tried to pull him with all his might, but to no avail. There was no movement from the sword.
"Your words are correct, Senior Chen." Tian Jian smiled awkwardly.
"I told you. Miss Hong, try."
Meirong did Chen Long's suggestion to find he got the same result as Tian Jian. Even if he were to drain the Qi even coating both his hands with the Phoenix Flame, it still did not work.
"This sword rejects my Qi or the Fenix Fire." Meirong clucked slowly.
Yao Han's turn to try it and succeed. Yao Han raised the Celestial Emperor Sword without any significant difficulty. He then flowed his Qi on the Celestial Emperor Sword and the sword was willing to accept Yao Han's Qi.
Yao Han then discovered that the Celestial Emperor Sword could be cleansed by continuously flowing Qi. Its action of draining the Qi earlier could remove a pinch of rust attached.
"Clean slowly. If you clean it up at any one time, you can run out of Qi. Even though you have a much more Qi capacity than a cultivator of your level, I recommend not doing that."
Yao Han did not refute because he was unwilling to do such a ridiculous thing that was bad. Then he stored the Celestial Emperor Sword into the space ring.
The sky began to darken when they returned to the outside world, but did not know the long time in that had passed. They then decided to rest for a while before continuing the journey tomorrow morning.
According to Chen Long's rough calculations, one day on the Orchid Flower Dimension was equal to one moon of the outside world. Although there was no change of time in the Orchid Flower Dimension, Chen Long estimated Yao Han and the others had already been there for seven days which was equivalent to seven months.
"That long?!" Yao Han and the others were shocked.
"Seven months..." Yao Han smiled awkwardly, then was shocked after that as his Jade Voice suddenly lit up brightly, which signified Feng Xian contacting him.
Yao Han did not immediately receive the Jade Voice's connection as he imagined he would be exposed to Feng Xian's long scolding.
"Thank you. I'll help you explain the situation." Bing Lizi calmed Yao Han as if understanding the contents of her mind.
Yao Han nodded slowly and right after he received the Jade Voice connection, Feng Xian's shout was the first he heard.
"Little monster-! What the hell is going on?! Why haven't I been able to contact you for the past few months?!"
Yao Han's entire body was goosebumps because it was only the first time Feng Xian had snapped at him. Yao Han had trouble swallowing.
"Teacher Feng..."
"Tell me clearly or I'll drag you back to Star Moon Island and kick your ass as punishment!"
"B-well, Teacher..."
Yao Han explained somewhat stammeredly as he was still pictured with Feng Xian's clasping. After he finished telling the story, Feng Xian let out a laugh.
"So you found that Lao Chen? And he became a real dragon?" Feng Xian laughed loudly at the end. "Goodoo. I also found Lao Xi. It turns out that it was true Brother Bing's guess. He was in the Eternal Lightning Valley. His condition was similar to the current condition of Xiao Hong, Xiao Tian, and Brother Bing."
"similar? Meaning Teacher..."
"You will find out more after returning to the Moon Star Island. Do you still want to go to the auction?"
"Of course, Teacher. I still haven't gotten the Rainbow Soul Orchid Flower for Uncle Master Tian."
"All right, it's up to you. Stay careful. The situation is getting messy and those fools are acting up."
"I understand, Teacher. Does Master want to talk to Uncle Master Chen?"
"No. After I meet him in person. Remember my message, little monster."
Feng Xian instantly severed their Jade Voice connection, leaving Yao Han shocked and astonished.
"What's wrong with Master Feng?" Yao Han was puzzled by the attitude of his teacher.
Yao Han then told all the talk to the others. Bing Lizi and Chen Long were happy to hear Xi Lei had already been successfully found and was in fine condition.
"similar to me? Is it possible that Brother Xi also became a spirit beast? If so, what did Brother Xi go through while he was there?" Bing Lizi tried to guess.
"Let's just say it's true, it's very likely that Senior Xi experienced something life-threatening but managed to survive by incarnating into a spirit beast. It makes sense he didn't immediately return with his condition back then, maybe stuck and it's very difficult to get out." Chen Long responded.
Seriate...
