11. Bound two promises

Stella's tears kept dripping down the shirt Daniel was wearing.

Three human children who are still on their way home are silent, only the sound of Stella's occasional cry is heard.

Daniel also did not release his arms to the girl who was in the thickets.

Daniel takes Stella to his room.

He came out of his room to get a drink, because his throat was very dry.

"Yes" replied Daniel who sat down.

Daniel gulped water in the glass he was carrying.

"Niel you promised Adrian to look after Stella, so you don't mess around with that. You have to look after and love Stella." continued Pratama.

"Yes" replied Daniel briefly.

For the matter of keeping up, Daniel's no problem.

But to love her, Daniel can't be sure.

"Where's Leo, Niel? From this afternoon he had not come out of his room either" said Mama Sovia.

"Maybe Leo slept Mam."

Mama Sovia asks a housekeeper to call Leo, as it is soon time for dinner.

"Later after dinner, you bring food for Stella. You persuade her to eat. If you need to feed him." Mama Sovia said again.

After being called by a housekeeper, Leo came out of his room and approached Mama and her father.

"Why you Lee?" ask Mama who saw Leo a little messy.

"Why what is Mam?"

"That's how you get tangled up."

"Leo Nothing Mam."

"Yes, then. Let's have dinner first" Invite Mama Sovia.

At the dinner table there was no conversation like usual.

Leo looks unappetised to eat.

And so was Daniel, as if he were busy with his thoughts raging in his head.

"I'm done, I'm going to go to the room first." Pamit Leo left everything still at the dinner table.

"Jas. Don't forget to tell Stella to eat. Mama told Aunt to bring food to your room."

"Yes, replied Daniel as he passed away.

Daniel opened the door slowly. Fear of disturbing Stella's sleep.

But Daniel saw that Stella was awake.

"You're awake. Mama brought you dinner." Daniel said to Stella who was sitting watching her room.

"Yes." Yeah." Stella replied with a slightly hoarse voice.

Too much crying makes Stella's throat feel dry.

Stella observes every detail of Daniel's room.

And of course Shanum's photos are his main concern.

"Are you bothered by those photos?" Daniel asked Stella who was looking at her wedding portrait with Shanum.

"No. This room is the place. I'm just a guest here, so there's no right to be disturbed."

Daniel was silent. He understood Stella's words.

"Fast eat, and Mama said it's your change of clothes." Point Daniel at Dongker's blue pajamas.

"Tomorrow we buy clothes for you." Daniel's Connections.

"Neither buy. Tomorrow I'll take it from Mommy's house."

"alright. I'll drop you tomorrow."
