27. The most beautiful gift
"Please get out of this room!" Stella said as she endured the pain in her stomach.
"Well, I'll go, and I won't say anything to Bang Daniel before getting an answer from you." Answer Leo.
"I just want you to know that I love you so much." Said Leo about to wipe Stella's lips, but that didn't happen because Stella avoided it.
Leo left Daniel's room.
Tears suddenly flowed so profusely on Stella's cheeks.
What have I done?
And what am I supposed to do?
Those are the words that are now raging in Stella's mind.
Stella slept curled up while crying.
"You're still asleep?" Daniel's voice sounded
Stella immediately wiped away her tears, and pretended to be asleep.
"Hey," Daniel rubbed Stella's cheek.
"Mas, you're home?" Stella replied, trying to be ordinary.
"She, I promised I'd go home when I finished the meeting." Daniel
"I have a gift for you" Daniel said, offering a box and a bouquet of flowers he bought on his way home.
"Thank you." Stella answered while hugging Daniel.
Daniel was astonished by Stella's unenthusiastic attitude as before.
"You why? Is the pain getting worse? then we go to the doctor now" Daniel said in a panic.
"No, Mom, I'm okay." Stella answered, Hugging Daniel.
"Certain why? how come you suddenly hug gini?"
"It's okay, man. I can't hug my own husband."
"Oh, I can, of course I can. But you have to look at my gift first." said Daniel.
Stella let go of his embrace, and wiped away the tears that had escaped from her eye patch.
"You crying?" Ask Daniel.
"Huh, Ti-no. I'm not crying!"
"Open the gift first." Tell Daniel again.
He opened the gift box from Daniel.
His tears were also shed unstoppable, when in his eyes two red and green books in the box.
"Now our marriage has been recognized by the state" Daniel smiled.
"But why are you crying? Don't you agree that I registered our marriage on state records?" Ask Daniel.
Stella shook her head.
"I'm happy, Mom." Stella answered in her tears.
"If you're happy, don't cry like that!"daniel rubbed Stella's wet cheeks.
Stella's heart is getting upset, with the wedding book that Daniel brought means their marriage is getting tighter.
"Oh yes, have you eaten yet? if I haven't already got it!"
"Oh, I've eaten." Stella's answer is lying.
Stella saw Daniel's face so bright.
Is Stella capable of disappointing people as good as Daniel?
With still wearing office clothes Daniel sat closer to Stella.
Daniel held Stella's hands together.
"This wedding book signifies that we already have each other completely. I have you completely and vice versa. Tomorrow I'll take down Shanum's photos from the walls of this room and put them in the closet." Said Daniel while peeking at Stella's forehead.
Stella tried to smile behind her gloom.
Stella hugged Daniel.
"Yes, I'm all yours." Stella said.
Daniel returned Stella's embrace.
"I'm going to take a shower" Daniel said.
"Oh yes. I'm sorry I'm such a gini crybaby." said Stella wipe her tears.
Daniel passed by to take a shower.
Stella again grabbed the flowers and the wedding book Daniel gave her and held them together.
"That Leo said is not entirely true, Daniel has great respect for me, even though his love is still for Shanum. Daniel is willing to take down Shanum's photos from the bedroom wall. Even though Daniel still keeps it in the closet, at least Daniel cares how I feel." Stella said in her heart.
