Quarter Century Duda
Forty Days Passed

Many people say that the first forty days after the departure of a loved one is the most difficult time. It was as if all the memories of the deceased were still bound to the heart. Sometimes I feel alone and alone. Sometimes I feel longed for. Sometimes I feel fragile.

So is Tendean who in these forty days really struggled and motivated himself. It was heavy, but time kept rolling. Although discouraged, but he had to strengthen his bones and joints to move and stand.

However, there is at least one thing that Tendean is grateful for that his little baby apparently is not intolerant to cow's milk. Just with formula milk, Anaya did not face problems with digestion. Even though the color of the pup is darker, while babies who get breast milk will have a more yellow color. But so far, Anaya has no diarrhea and also flatulence. His son's specialist doctor also gave advice once there is a cow's milk intolerance, then the formula drunk Anaya should be stopped.

Today also in the residence of Doctor Tendean also conducted a study 40 days after the death of his beloved wife. So that indeed many guests came and did the study and reading of Yasin's letter. From neighbors, relatives, to colleagues who come and also give prayers for the deceased.

By wearing a white Koko shirt and peci on his head, Tendean was so solemn following the lecture event. Although it felt heavy, his chest was still so tight. However, in the heart of Tendean tried to release the late Desy sincerely. If there is one that Tendean regrets is the wife who left without giving a message to him. Desy only asked that she would give Anaya's name for her baby and also her daughter would give her many life lessons.

"It has been forty days since you left, Desy .. it has been forty days for our little baby to be in this world. Even with me who has been a widower for more than a month. Are you happy up there, Desy? Don't you know that we whom you have left behind are still so miserable for you?"

In his heart, Tendean spoke with great pain. A forty day process that was really tough for him. However, what power everything has passed and also Tendean does not have the power to turn time.

"We who are still on this mortal Earth will try to live by continuing to remember your memories, Desy. Anaya will also know the figure of her mother through the photos and stories of you who always live in our hearts."

It was painful, but Tendean promised in his heart that he would introduce her to Anaya through the photos and stories she could share when her daughter grew up. For indeed everything under heaven has been outlined by the Khalik. Meeting and parting, there is already the sovereignty of His time that is so great.

Until after the study was completed, there was a friend of Tendean who came and gave his empathy for Tendean. A young Doctor who willingly came all the way from Bandung.

"Ean, I'm so sorry. I just found out lately that Desy's gone home" he said.

Tendean nodded his head and smiled pias. "It's okay. Thanks to Deddy, it has been bought to come from Bandung to Jakarta," said Tendean.

Yes, there is Doctor Deddy who is Tendean's best friend. In the past, both of them both studied and took Medicine at one of the universities in Bandung. A young doctor who recently gave birth to a baby boy.

"Anaya, her name is Anaya, and I call her Aya" Tendean replied.

"The beauty of Aya .. is similar to the late house well," replied Deddy.

"Yes, I saw Desy's face inside Aya's face. Sometimes my heart is sliced, sometimes it misses the dust, sometimes it is crowded. This face is never out of my memory" Tendean said.

Now Deddy seemed to pat his best friend on the shoulder. "The strong one, Ean. I'm sure you can get through it all. If you can't stand it, look at your little baby's face. Your little angel, Desy's precious eyes," said Deddy.

To be honest, just by looking at Anaya, the father can survive. If there is no small baby, Tendean may have been completely slumped and also lost his sanity. However, his little baby seemed to be his own reason for Tendean to get up and strengthen himself. Anaya needs it very much.

"Who are you coming with, Ded?" ask Tendean to his friend.

"Alone, Ean .. My wife has just given birth. It's possible that my baby is your daughter's age now" Deddy said.

"Oh, yeah .. congratulations Ded. I can't believe you've become a father. Congratulations well. A boy or a girl?" ask Tendean again.

"Turkey. Name's Dicky. Later can be his playmate Aya well," replied Deddy by staring at the face of a shady baby Anaya.

Tendean nodded his head slowly. "Of course, I can, '" Tendean replied.

"It should always be strong huh, Ean. You can definitely get through all this. Survive for Aya," said Dicky again who gives motivation to his best friend.

Tendean was grateful because his friend was willing to come all the way from Bandung and also gave prayers for his late wife and also provided motivation for him. Honestly, in the worst times like this Tendean is grateful because so many people strengthen it. Family, friends, and fellow Doctors at Hospitals who often provide moral support. Forty days had already passed, but it felt like the entire day Tendean had passed was so gray.
