The next day Rin thought of visiting a temple not far from where he lived. Rin hopes he can get help from the people who are in the temple. At this time Rin felt very nervous when entering the temple. He had never been to a temple before, let alone asking the priest for help there. However, his increasingly precarious situation left him with little choice. When he arrived at the temple, he was greeted by a friendly priest named Hiroki.

"Ohayou gozaimasu" Rin said to priest Hiroki

"Ohayou, can I help you?" hiroki asked Rin

"Yes, there's something I want to say as well" replied Rin who was a little nervous about facing priest Hiroki

"Alright, let's talk inside" Hiroki led her into the living room

Arriving there Rin explains the situation in detail and asks the pastor for help.

"Then" priest Hiroki took something out of his shirt and put it into Rin's hands "Just wear this necklace, I'm sure it can protect you from yokai attacks and the like" explained priest Hiroki "And this is a special weapon that you can use to kill evil creatures" the priest added, handing a katana to Rin's hand.

Rin felt a little relieved after getting help from the priest. He thanked her and then walked out of the temple carefully, carrying the amulet and katana necklace that the priest had just given him.

On his way home, he stopped walking because he met a new classmate with him. He named Keyaru, the man has a handsome face and popular in his school, almost all girls in the school want to be his girlfriend. But not for Rin, he still firmly with his principle that this is not the right time to date.

"Ohayou" said Keyaru

"Ohayou" greeted Rin back who continued his footsteps to leave the temple

Keyaru, glanced at the sword that Rin was carrying. Keyaru caught Rin's attention with his gaze that continued to observe the sword Rin was carrying. Rin felt somewhat uncomfortable with that gaze.

"Is that a real sword? It looks quite dangerous," asked Keyaru with curiosity that was clearly visible in his eyes.

Rin's steps stopped. Rin feels a little reluctant to answer Keyaru's questions, but because they are classmates, Rin decides to explain the situation. He tells about the yokai attacks that took place at the previous school and how he asked for help from the priest at the temple.

"The priest at the temple gave me this talisman necklace and katana as a means of defense" Rin explained in a soft voice. "You're definitely not going to believe everything I just said" he continued

"I believe it" Keyaru looked surprised and wanted to know more about it. "May I borrow your katana for a minute?" ask Keyaru

"Yes, please" Rin raised her katana carefully. The katana looked sharp and shiny, making Keyaru gobsmacked.

After Keyaru receives it straight away and sees it for a moment he returns the katana to Rin again "Very cool! Can you use it?" asked Keyaru with enthusiasm.

Rin replied with a slight hesitation, "Actually I have never used a sword before, so I will train hard in order to use it well"

Keyaru gave a faint smile, "Yes, I'm sure you can use the katana given by the priest and save people from yokai disorder and the like"

"Yes, thank you Keyaru. Then I'll see you" Rin felt encouraged by Keyaru's words, she felt more confident and ready to face whatever the future holds.

"Yes Rin, see you later" Keyaru

They split up and Rin went back on her way home, carrying a used amulet and a sword in her hand.

Return to Keyaru who has now arrived at the temple and met some people there.

"Hiroki - san, I really did not expect that Hiroki - san would help Rin by giving him a friday necklace and a special katana" said Keyaru who still did not expect

"Key-chan, we're short of members for the city's rescue mission from the yokai and its troublesome comrades. Moreover, recruiting people to join us is no easy feat" Hiroki casually replied

"True, there are rarely people who volunteer and are interested in this kind of case" said Naomi, a priest's assistant at the temple.

"So, you two have told him who and what our true purpose is?" ask Keyaru

"Yet. About that, I leave it to you Key-chan" Hiroki

"Why wasn't he told and was waiting for me anyway? Checking him out is my classmate you guys are willing to hand him over to me as well" Keyaru complained

"Rin, how's your sword practice?" ask Keyaru while taking a leisurely walk with Rin

"There is always an increase" Rin replied

"Yes it's all because you train so hard, right?" ask Keyaru

"That's how it is" Rin answered

The two of them stopped in front of the entrance gate to his school.

"We've been walking for almost a week but there's still no sign of a supernatural attack from an evil spirit" Rin walked up to the school gate and stared at the school building, which he thought was shrouded by a black fog that slowly appeared.

Keyaru, standing beside Rin and holding the school gate. His eyes looked at the school building that was filled with darkness.

"This is your first mission as a member of the Yokai Hunters Association. An organization tasked with hunting down and eradicating harmful spirits or yokai" Keyaru explained

"Did?" Rin still did not understand what Keyaru had just said

"Be prepared!" Keyaru

Rin immediately pulled out his sword and prepared to fight with a group of evil spirits out of the school building and flew towards them, but Rin felt surprised when she saw Keyaru also pulled out a sword from behind her shirt.

"Keyaru, you have a sword too?" ryn asked surprised.

Keyaru gave a faint smile, "Of course, I want to help you if you are in danger. Yosh, we have to face those evil yokai immediately before they cause more damage" he continued, who was already preparing to attack

They started moving, attacking quickly and accurately. Yokai or evil spirits are powerful, but Rin and Keyaru have skills capable of fighting them. They work together and help each other.

"Rin, are you okay?" Keyaru looked towards Rin

"Yes, I'm fine. How's yours?" rin replied that it was regulating his breathing because it was starting to melt.

They continued to fight tenaciously, even though the evil yokai were getting stronger and harder to defeat. However, Rin and Keyaru did not give up and eventually managed to defeat them.

"We made it!" Rin

"Yes, we managed to defeat them!" Keyaru

However, suddenly appeared an evil spirit that was bigger and stronger than before. They have to fight harder to beat him.

"Look, we have to act fast!" Rin

"All right, let's get started!" Keyaru

They moved quickly and tried to attack the evil spirit. However, the evil spirit is very strong and difficult to defeat.

"Don't give up, Rin. We must work together and look for the weakness of this evil spirit" Keyaru retreats from the evil yokai

"Yes" Rin advanced and attacked the yokai once more using his sword

In Keyaru's eyes, Rin was great for mastering sword fighting techniques in such a short time. Keyaru, becomes more and more amazed when Rin manages to defeat the yokai alone without his help.

"We made it" Rin looked at Keyaru, astonished to see priest Hiroki and the priest's maid Naomi behind Keyaru

"With this you are already an official member of the Yokai Hunters Association organization" priest Hiroki walked up to Rin, Rin still wondering because he still did not understand what he was saying. Then priest Hiroki turned to Keyaru and asked him "Key-chan, have you told him or not?"
