The man, Rihito, applied for permission from the Prime Minister to form the Yokai Hunters Association. This organization has the main purpose to fight and protect the public from the attacks of evil spirits. Supported by his supernatural powers, Rihito became the leader of the Yokai Hunters Association and recruited talented people to become members of the organization. They are trained to use supernatural weapons and special techniques to fight evil spirits.
The Yokai Hunters Association became very popular among the people of Tokyo for successfully fighting and protecting them from the attacks of evil creatures that have supernatural powers. Before Rihito died, he swiped his supernatural powers at a katana stored in the temple. The katana belonged to a priest who first built the temple. The katana was used to protect itself from the interference of evil spirits who tried to hinder the construction of the temple. He told his aides at the temple called "Miko" not to touch the katana he kept because it was dangerous. Hiroki is allowed to hold the katana if he is already a priest officially, but Hiroki is not allowed to have it because the katana holds the magical power of Rihito, so it is the descendants of Rihito who deserve it.
That night, when Rin returned home he immediately looked for his mother named Rina Rihito
"Tadaima." said Rin locked the door again and walked to the dining room.
"Okaeri, where have you been these nights Rin? Practicing sword?" asked Rina, she served some dinner dishes in front of Rin
"Mom, I have something to ask you. It's about Grandpa" Rin said
