Willy shook his head. Go to jail, never in his future plans. “No! Please don't throw me in jail! This is all Altea's fault!” refused panic.
“You're a coward, Willy! I'm ashamed to be your cousin!” Altea's frustration was already at its peak. He walked away getting rid of Mykola's body that had been his barrier since earlier. Altea then approached Willy. No one thought that the young woman would send a raw bogem to her cousin. The punch was right on Willy's right cheek. So loud was the fist received by the young man with priang hair, to make him stagger back and almost fall.
“Hey, Miss Miller! Keep attitude!” mykola Sentak. He who usually behaves calmly, should show his anger because of Altea's attitude which is out of control. Just this time, Mykola's emotions were provoked by the figure of a street girl. Immediately, Vlad's assistant tightly held Altea's body, so as to no longer attack Willy.
“Let me go. Damn you!” Altea. He became more and more crazed, so Mykola was forced to further strengthen his grip.
“Remember now who are you in front of!” mykola growled right at Altea's ear, leaving the girl instantly speechless. He looked at Vlad. Not only Altea, Mykola and Willy also looked towards Vlad who watched the chaos with a flat look.
A moment later, Vlad's cold face gradually changed. At first, it appeared to be just a small movement in the corner of the lips. Over time the little smile changed into a big laugh. Vlad never did that. It made the three people who were there become astonished, when they saw the strange attitude of the handsome man in the wheelchair.
“You are truly a joyful pastime, Altea Miller,” Vlad chirped in between his laughter.
“What do you mean? Do you think I'm a clown?” altea protest not accepted.
Vlad's laughter is getting louder. Apparently, Altea has a character that is not much different from Bella, the girl from his past who must make him feel heartbroken to pieces. The blend of wild and whimsical attitudes Altea showed, had caught Vlad's attention.
“I was forced to help him steal, Sir. The money that stole it Altea use for daily living expenses,” explained Willy. “I can't bear to see him wandering around in a state of hunger on the streets!”
“Close your mouth, Mama's boy!” sergeant Altea. Again, he tried to break away from Mykola who was still holding him tightly.
“Why should he roam the streets? Can't he stay at your house or his real father?” ask Vlad. He paid no heed to Altea's increasingly uncontrollable attitude.
“It was because he wanted to dodge and hide from Uncle Herbert, Altea's biological father,” Willy replied confidently.
“Fuck you!” In the end, Altea managed to escape from Mykola. Immediately, he drew closer to Willy and threw another punch. This time, the brown-eyed woman's fist lodged in her cousin's heart. Willy grimaced with pain.
“Stop, Altea Miller!” Vlad suddenly stood up from his wheelchair. He again showed off his tall and gallant body before Altea and Willy. “If you can't keep your attitude, I will take you to the police station right now!” vlad was the one who made Altea instantly speechless.
“Uncle Herbert owes a lot to a mobster who was a bookie in our county, sir. He owes a large amount. Uncle couldn't pay, so ...” Willy did not continue his story. He turned to Altea who was looking at him with a murderous look.
“Continue!” decreed Vlad.
“Uncle Herbert plans to hand Altea over to the bookies. He's going to sell his own daughter. That was why Altea tried to run away and hide. Altea is also unlikely to hide in my house, as Uncle Herbert will definitely find her,”. “I'm sorry, Altea. I had no other choice and did not want to go to jail,” he said later, turning his attention back to his cousin.
“Is that true?” Sensed with disbelief in Mykola's heart when listening to Willy's words, the two cousins had lied to him many times.
“So apparently.” Vlad muttered before returning to sit with dignity. “Should have told me all that since you first came here, Miss Miller. That way, I won't suspect you.” Vlad's blue eyes stared in the shade at Altea.
However, Altea chose to throw his face away. He did not want to return the man's gaze. For Altea, her life story was a disgrace that no one should know.
For a moment, the atmosphere turned silent. It continued until the sound of Elke calling the name Altea. “Nona Miller? Are you still upstairs? Someone's looking for you outside!” the mother of Vlad.
“I don't know anyone here!” sahut Altea immediately.
“Then, who is looking for you?” This time, it was Mykola's turn to ask.
“Ow, bad! Don't-don't ..” Willy half glared, then patted his forehead softly.
“Who?” ask Vlad and Mykola at the same time.
“Nona Miller?” Elke's cry sounded again, making Willy undo the intention to open his mouth.
“I have to go down,” break up Altea which leaves a great curiosity in the hearts of Vlad as well as Mykola.
“Cutemany!” vlad's words were short, and more like a command word.
“No need!” reject Altea.
“This is not an offer. Should I remind you again of your position here?” vlad said as he grabbed his wand. He walked towards the exit.
“Yes, geez. Yeah, already. In that case, you first,” sahut Altea lazy. He let Vlad and Mykola out first. The assistant trust of the host looked so painstakingly holding Vlad down the stairs. He did not give up even though the gondrong man refused Mykola's help many times.
“What do you think is the same as I thought, Altea?” willy whispered to the cousin moments after there was no one in Vlad's room but the two of them.
“You are stupid! How could my father know this place?” Altea patted the back of Willy's head quite hard.
“I didn't accidentally!” exclaiming Willy is stuck. “He came when I was about to go here,” his rebuttal.
“Ck!” Altea clucked in annoyance. “She must have followed you here,” her grunts.
“I think your father will have trouble following the speed of the handsome master's car earlier. He drives like a formula one driver,” Willy said while scratching his head. “Except ...”
“What?” Altea was increasingly anxious to see his cousin's behavior.
“Unless Uncle Herbert asks my mother. I know that I went here,” Willy said hesitantly.
“Jeez!" Altea ruffled her long brown hair. He was too scared, so he could not think clearly. Moreover, when he heard the footsteps of someone climbing the stairs.
Altea grew nervous as the owner of the step reached where he stood.
The figure of a dark-haired handsome man who was none other than Mykola, smiled meaningfully at him. “Down, Miss Miller. Mr. Herbert is waiting for you downstairs. I want you to meet and talk to him. That way, I and Mr. Ignashevich can decide whether your cousin's story is a mere joke, or indeed an honesty" Mykola said, leaving Altea to hold her breath.
