Two weeks have passed ... 

Wendy, who caused Anna's miscarriage, was suspended for three months. Although Edgar was not satisfied with the sentence, he could not add to his sentence because he did not have authority on campus. 

Anna is out of the hospital. However, he had not spoken in the slightest like a mute person. Anna also lost her way. The doctor said that Anna was experiencing it because of too much shock and stress. 

Every night after Anna went to sleep, Edgar drank alcohol intoxicated in his kitchen alone. He cried when he saw Anna who was like a living doll. He said nothing and could not walk without the help of a device. 

Now, Edgar is with Anna in the park. He took Anna for a walk in a wheelchair to breathe fresh air. 

"Anna, aren't the flowers so pretty? If I pick it up, do you want to take it?" said Edgar. 

Anna flinching. He was silent because he didn't want to say anything. But in his heart he always answered Edgar's words. 

Edgar smiled smirkily. He then plucked one rose for Anna and placed it on her lap. 

Crouching down, Edgar said, "Red roses signify love and I will give them to you. It's proof that I always loved you for who I am. It doesn't matter if you don't talk or even forget how to walk like this."

Edgar held Anna's hand. "Anna .. I want to see you smile again. I want to see you running around in front of me and tell me anything. Really, I want to see you like you used to" he continued. 

Immediately after Edgar said that, Anna moved her hand towards Edgar's head and gently stroked her husband's hair. 

"I'm sorry" said Anna. 

Edgar flinched while rounding his eyes. "Anna! You ... speak?!"

Unbelieving what he had just heard, Edgar asked Anna to speak again. "Again! Say something again, Anna!" said it. 

Anna smiled weakly. "I love you, Edgar."

Edgar covered his face with a palm. She was crying because she was too happy. 

"Can you stand up?" ask Edgar. He just wanted to make sure of it because Anna was already willing to talk. 

Anna then tried to stand up while holding a wheelchair as her body support. But then, it fell back down instantly. It seemed that he was still unable to walk and even stand on his own feet. 

"It's okay. You can do it slowly. I'll call Dr. Bryan and tell him this."

"Anna!"

A call from someone known made his head turn. Grace stood behind Edgar with a slightly matted alley face. 

"Professor, can you leave us both? I want to talk to Anna" Grace said. 

Edgar did not want to leave, but he got a code from Anna to leave them both. 

Anna doesn't know what exactly Grace's purpose is to come see her. Grace wasn't even there when Anna was admitted to the hospital and never even swiped her things once. Disappointed Anna.

"Anna .. I'm sorry." Grace looked weak. "I'm the one who made the post on the campus forum about Wendy. Because of that, you have to go through something like this."

Anna already knew even though Grace didn't tell her. However, Anna did not want to believe that it was Grace because she still trusted her friend. 

"I .. I'm sorry. I vented my anger on you, Anna. Because you're the one who was the reason I was rejected by Professor Kevin. I was angry when Professor Kevin said he liked someone. I like him, but he doesn't return my feelings."

Ah, so that's the reason. Kevin likes Anna, but Anna doesn't know. A hurt Grace vents her anger at Anna through Wendy. 

Anna grinned thinly. Wendy, Grace, and Kevin have faults for Anna. The three of them unknowingly made Anna suffer to the point of losing a fetus. 

"Go!" drive Anna to Grace. He doesn't want to hear the reason anymore. "I don't want to be disturbed!"

After Grace confesses to Anna that day, Anna breaks contact with Grace and does not want to see her again. Grace is indeed her best friend, but Grace has betrayed Anna and has caused Anna to miscarry indirectly. 

Now Anna is practicing walking with the help of Edgar. It's been almost two weeks he's been doing it and he's been able to stand on his own and walk three to five steps. 

"That's enough for today. You did well" said Edgar, stroking Anna's head. 

One day after the miscarriage, Edgar decided to resign from college. He is no longer a teacher. Now she chooses the focus of her position as director and takes care of Anna herself at home. Yes, after all, his job as a director can be done at home and without having to go to the company. 

Edgar held Anna and put her back in a wheelchair. 

"I want to go to my room" said Anna. 

"All right, my wife."

Edgar pushes Anna's wheelchair into their room. With weak legs, Anna tried to stand on her own and moved from wheelchair to bed. 

Edgar just silently observed because Anna did not want to be helped by him. 

"Ed, sit next to me" Anna said, patting the bed. He then rested his head on Edgar's broad shoulders after the man sat down beside him. "May I ask you something?" tanyakanya. 

"Ask what?" reply Edgar. 

"Aren't you angry or disappointed in me, maybe?"

"I don't understand what you mean. Why should I be angry and disappointed in you, Anna?"

Anna held her stomach with both hands. "I lost our baby. I can't keep the seeds growing in my womb well."

Edgar stunned. Though the incident was already more than two months ago, yet Anna was still thinking about and even blaming herself. 

Edgar may be angry and disappointed, but not at Anna, but at himself. Because, as Anna's husband, she couldn't take good care of the woman. 

"I'm not angry or disappointed in you, Anna. Anyway, this has already happened. We can't change it."

"Then do you regret marrying me?"

Edgar was stunned again. He married Anna because he liked her. Yeah, even though it all started because of Anna's father's debt.

"I don't want to answer, you should already know about my feelings, right?"

"alright. I'll ask you the last question" Anna exclaimed. Anna lifted her head from Edgar's shoulder and turned to look at the man's eyes. "Do you want to have another child?"

Edgar gulped down the saliva. "Ah, that .. I do want it. But, I can't force you to conceive my son again after a miscarriage."

"Let's do it again."

Making a baby is the same as having sex. Is Anna aware of her words? For months Edgar had not touched Anna in bed because he thought about her condition. Even though her passion rose, she could not force Anna to temper her passion. But did Anna lure him in directly? 

"Anna, your condition is still bell-"

Without being able to finish his words, Edgar was taken aback by Anna who suddenly silenced her mouth with lips. 

If Anna had started, Edgar could not have refused. He'll let Anna do her thing. Because Anna was his wife and his marriage to that woman was based on love. 

Although in their marriage there are always problems that arise, but all of them can be passed together. This sudden marriage made them experience both joy and sorrow at the same time. Although more suffering was received, they did not regret the marriage.
