The Bride Of Choice

The Bride Of Choice
BOC CHAPTER 19 - The Talk of Two Men

"Sit down." Hansel's word, makes the interaction between Aileen and Clint cut off.

Aileen then took a seat right in front of Hansel, they were next to the table.

It felt awkward for Aileen to sit beside the Uncle.

And Clint immediately served hot food at the dinner table, serving it like in a famous restaurant.

"Good fun, Miss Sweet," said Clint, saying that she smiled and blinked her flirtatious eyes at Aileen.

But this sweet girl didn't care about it, she focused on names that looked so delicious.

But still refrain from touching before getting permission from the host.

"Why are they still being seen? eat it."

"Uncle, I'll be."

Hansel couldn't answer because Clint suddenly heard a booming laugh.

"Wait, wait for Miss Aileen, why are you calling Hansel Uncle? isn't she your future husband?" clint asked among his remaining laughter.

Little did he know about Aileen from her cold best friend. Hansel didn't say much, only asking him to cook a special dinner for the future wife.

And Aileen who was asked like that was confused to answer what, because that was the call.

Aileen glanced at Hansel, but the man who glanced at her had instead focused on eating.

"Why indeed, Brother? would you call uncle, too?" aileen asked back, confused as to what to answer so she asked.

"No no, uncle's call felt not beautiful to sound in my ears." Reply Clint.

Clint sat down with them and had dinner together.

Occasionally Hansel and Clint get into a conversation and Aileen is just a listener, as she has no idea what the two grown men are talking about.

After dinner, Clint wiped the dinner table. Aileen also automatically helps, even directly washing dishes in the sink.

"Aileen, don't do that baby. Let me clean it up" said Clint, after dinner with them becoming more familiar.

Clint tells Aileen that he will think of Aileen as his sister.

"But use your gloves, not with your bare hands like that."

"It's okay."

"Let's your hands be cold."

"It's just a little, it won't keep me here long."

Clint was silent, he lost the debate.

Only able to rub the top of Aileen's head with anxiety, while this girl was busy washing her dirty dishes.

And Hansel who saw the sight was only able to be sniffed, from where he sat he looked fixedly at Aileen.

Finishing all the affairs in the kitchen, Aileen pampered into her room while Hansel and Clint were still in the living room.

Staring out the window and seeing the city filled with many lights.

"I like that there's Aileen here, this apartment feels more alive" said Clint, he then sipped a cold drink that he had made anyway.

But Hansel was silent, not responding to anything the friend said.

And Clint was not bothered about it, it was common for him to always talk alone while he was with Hansel.

"Aileen like that alone is very beautiful, not imagined when later she has become a mature woman, will certainly be very charming," said Clint again.

And again Hansel remained silent.

"How old is he?"

"This year is 18 years old."

"Havana's Age?"

"21 years."

"Geez, Havana's gonna have a sister-in-law younger than her." Clint laughed, the two men continued to talk until midnight.

And Clint decided to go home.
