The Demon King's bride

The Demon King's bride
Worse Than Hell

A fierce battle is taking place. Two people attacked each other fiercely. They attack each other using their own mainstay. One mastered the ice element, the other clearly used fire as his weapon.

Attack after attack illustrates that both have balanced strength. Thousands of needles from the ice attacked simultaneously towards the man who mastered the fire element. One swipe of fire and the entire ice needle instantly disappeared, melting. Not running out of ideas, this time thousands of pointy frozen arrows returned towards the man.

The man moved quickly avoiding the barrage of arrows. But when he was caught off guard, a single line of arrows shot rapidly towards him. One and the other can be avoided. But the last one sped so fast and managed to injure the man's arm.

"Why do we have to fight like this? Isn't our business done?" ask the man. A blue flame mark was clearly visible on his forehead.

"Of course it's done. But take out your prophecy against my daughter," from her voice, the assailant was obviously a woman. When he stood up and raised his face. Instantly it was seen how beautiful this blue-haired goddess was. A silver lily mark was engraved clearly on his forehead.

"I've said it many times. I didn't make it but I saw it in my vision" replied the man.

"Don't give it up!" Next, an ice sword shot rapidly towards the man. The man swiftly held him and slammed him to his left side. He was really upset with this goddess that was in front of him.

"Did The Sky know you were seeing me?" ask the man.

"He doesn't know. I'm here to ask you to erase your prophecy about my daughter ten thousand years ago" the woman asked.

"Nuwa. I can't. All you can do is prevent it from happening. Marry him to the owner of the fire element. That way she won't be able to open the gates of hell, because her husband's fire element will burn the demon element that's in your daughter's body" explained the man half-desperate.

The Reader, the reader of the future, stared intently at Nuwa, the Goddess of Flowers, the wife of the lord of the heavens, The Sky.

"My son will be the right candidate for your daughter. The Phoenix fire in her will protect your daughter" The Reader continued.

"Don't tell me it's just your wits to connect our love story that the heavens don't approve of" said Nuwa.

The Reader's choked. How could Nuwa still remember it, when according to the rules, once this Flower Goddess married the ruler of the sky, all her past memories would be erased. Including their love story. The swift love of both makes The Reader accept her destiny to marry the Goddess of the Wind from the east. But unfortunately, the wife chose to give up when giving birth to their son. His colliding second element made the Wind Goddess sacrifice her soul, burning by the Phoenix Fire of the son. It was then that The Reader had a vision of the son's future. A fate so heavy and difficult awaits the son.

The man had even ascended to Heavenly Peak, the place where The Great Lord lived. In particular, The Reader asks the owner of the universe's destiny to change the fate of his son. But back then The Great Lord could not do it. The man just gave us a hint.

"Your son will indeed live a heavy destiny in his life. But he was able to get through it. And during his exam he won't be alone. Someone will stand by and fight with him. Although most of your son's trials will come from his partner,"

The Reader was silent. "How about Nuwa?" the man finally dared to ask.

"He will also live a heavy destiny. Even heavier than you. His passing will make things better,"

The Reader was silent again.

Returning to Nuwa and The Reader, the man looked at Nuwa with a difficult to interpret gaze. "My answer, The Reader!" urge Nuwa to be angry.

"I never thought about doing that. I run what I should. It was just my advice. If you're not willing to give up your daughter with my son, I'm not forcing either. Just think about it for the good of your daughter. The owner of the Phoenix Flame in this generation is only my son, "The Readers turned to leave Nuwa who immediately clenched her hands hearing the man's words.

Just then, a black shadow passed through The Reader, darting towards Nuwa who seemed to be unaware of any creature approaching her.

The Reader was shocked when his attack injured Nuwa so severely. The man immediately restrained the body of Nuwa whose soul was almost wiped out due to his attack.

"I'm sorry Nuwa, I didn't mean to attack you" The Reader immediately gave Nuwa a helping hand. The soul of Nuwa lives in half, and it will put the goddess in danger.

"There is no other way" The Reader then sits cross-legged, making a meditative position. His eyes had just closed, when Nuwa's hand suddenly touched his. "Don't do it" the plea of Nuwa was weak.

"This is all I can do. I'm guilty of hurting you. Only in this way can I make amends. After this I'll go to The Sky, I'll explain everything, and admit my mistake" The Reader said. Then start doing the meditation. Ignoring Nuwa's plea not to do this.

"I can still live with half my soul. But you can't. Your frozen lily's soul must always be intact" The Reader's inner self, begins to channel its soul into Nuwa. Of course after the man lowered his soul temperature. Otherwise, Nuwa will burn because The Reader's soul contains the element of fire.

From that day on, Nuwa mysteriously disappeared. The Reader resigned from her position as one of the gods in the sky world. The man chose to seclude himself to a place no one knew about.

"Aarrgghhh"

The sound of Nuwa groaning in pain filled Amor's ears. The goddess slept restlessly. A sweat splashed on his forehead. "Run from there, Mom," muttered Amor softly. In her dream, Amor sees her mother being attacked by a man with a mane of white hair. White robed. With a blue flame mark on his forehead.

Amor shouted as a flash of golden-red attack hit the mother's body which immediately collapsed. Not moving anymore. "Mother.wake up. Mum...." Amor tried to wake her mother. A smile on Nuwa's lips. A moment later, Nuwa's body faded away, slowly disappearing. It turned into tiny grains the size of dust. It's just a grain of ice dust. Slowly, the ice dust grains were out, flying into space and then disappeared without a trace.

"Mother.....Mother...don't go! Don't leave Amor!" Amor shouted bitterly, as his hands tried to gather the ice dust grains belonging to Nuwa's soul so as not to fly into space.

"Don't.don't go...Mama!"

Amor awoke with breath and tears streaming down his cheeks. She cried? She was actually crying. That dream was not a dream. That's like real. Amor seemed to be able to feel his mother's soul slowly disappearing from his grasp.

The woman slowly hugged her own knees. No matter on her thin nightgown that was soaked entirely by the sweat running all over her body. Her crying was getting louder. What is the meaning of the dream that lately has always been the flower of sleep. Since returning from the human world.

"Mother...what are you trying to tell me? What do you want Amor to do? Take revenge on the one who destroyed my mother. Didn't he? If so, give Amor a clue as to who it is. Amor will kill him for Mom,"

A smile was engraved on the lips of a man, upon hearing Amor's words. The man rubbed the tip of his lips with his fingers. Her body churned to see Amor's body which was only wrapped in her thin nightgown.

"Sadly, I didn't enjoy your body when I took you. But it doesn't matter. I'd rather see you kill each other with Fire. Because it's more beautiful than just making love to you" the man glanced at a woman still asleep on his right bed.

"I'd rather watch this exciting game while watching the tears welling up in your beautiful eyes, Amor," the man rubbed Amor's face drawn in front of him. Like there's a monitor in front of the guy.

"Welcome to my game. The game that felt even more cruel than hell," a laughter full of satisfaction escaped the lips of the man, Demon.
