The Echoes Of The Abyss

The Echoes Of The Abyss
Chapter 10: Betrayal

Lian and Eris have made a long and exhausting journey through an intricate labyrinth in the underground world. They fight against fierce creatures and face obstacles that stand in their way. However, they did not give up and continued to look for a way out.

Suddenly, they were faced with a huge door that looked extremely powerful. Lian tried to open the door, but it was locked. Eris looked around and said she knew how to open the door.

Eris took out a small crystal from her pocket and placed it in front of the door. He said a few magic words and the crystal started to glow brightly. Lian watched in amazement as the door began to open slowly.

However, when the door opened completely, Lian felt something strange. He saw Eris smiling with an evil smile and took the crystal from the doorstep.

"Eris, what are you doing?" lian asked worriedly.

However, Eris simply laughed and said, "Sorry, Lian. It turns out I can't rely on you completely."

Lian was shocked and betrayed. He could not believe that Eris, who had been helping him all this time, suddenly turned against him.

"Please tell me what you want?" lian said with a trembling voice.

Eris replied casually, "Oh, I just need you to help me open this door. Now, I've got the crystal, I don't need you anymore."

Lian felt sad and angry at the same time. He did not believe that he had been so naive and believed in Eris. However, he did not want to give up just like that.

"Lian, I don't want to hurt you," said Eris, "But I need this crystal for a greater purpose."

Lian wasn't sure if she should trust Eris anymore or not. However, he knew he had to act quickly. He jumped towards Eris and tried to snatch the crystal from her hand.

However, Eris was too fast and easily dodged Lian's attack. He then ran towards the door and entered the room. Lian chased after him and entered the room as well.

Inside the room, they saw something shocking. There was a group of people gathered in the room. They were standing around a large crystal located in the middle of the room.

Eris reached out and placed the small crystal she brought into the small crack in the large crystal. The huge crystal started to shine brightly and let out a beautiful sound.

Lian looked in awe as the crystal began to emit light throughout the room. The sound that came out of the crystal was like beautiful music and softly draped in her ears. He could feel the powerful magic and power coming out of the crystal.

"Eris, what's that crystal?" lian asked, mesmerized by the beauty and power that came out of that crystal.

"It was a miracle crystal," Eris replied with a smile. "This crystal has a very strong power and can produce extraordinary magic."

Lian looked at the crystal curiously. He felt like he could understand all the secrets and wonders in this world if he could only understand the power of those crystals.

"But how can we use it?" ask Lian.

Eris took the small crystal she had brought and placed it in Lian's hands. "You must feel the magic of the crystal within yourself, Lian. Let the power flow through you and let yourself become one with the miracle."

Lian felt anxious and doubtful. He was not sure if he could sense the miracle that Eris was talking about. But when he held the crystal in his hand, he felt a warmth and strength enveloping him. He felt like he could overcome all obstacles and become stronger than before.

Lian closed her eyes and felt the power of the crystal enter her. He felt himself becoming stronger, faster, and smarter than before. He felt like he could face everything that was coming to him.

When Lian opened her eyes again, she saw that the crystal was still shining brightly in Eris' hands. He smiled at her, feeling relieved as he managed to sense the magic of the crystal within him.

"You're doing really well, Lian," Eris said with a smile. "Now, we have to leave immediately. We don't have much time."

Lian felt enchanted by the beauty of the crystal and the sound it produced. He looked at Eris with a sense of awe because of her extraordinary ability to use magic.

"Eris, you're amazing!" lian said with an impressed voice. "I've never seen magic this great before."

Eris smiled and replied, "Thank you, Lian. Magic is part of my life, and I'm so happy to share that magic with you."

However, his smile did not last long. Suddenly, a rumbling sound rang out from a distance, and Eris stiffened. He looked at the voice anxiously.

"What's that?" ask Lian carefully.

"It was a very powerful dark force" Eris replied. "We have to move fast if we want to get out of here safely."

Lian knew how important this situation was and immediately took out her sword. They ran through the narrow passageways and twisted quickly, avoiding the traps and obstacles that blocked their path. However, the rumbling sounds were getting closer, and they knew that their time was getting less and less.

Finally, they arrived in front of a large door that was tightly locked. Eris took out her wand and threw it towards the door. The door opened with a rumbling sound, and they entered into it quickly.

Suddenly, Eris turned around and looked at Lian with worried eyes. "Lian, I have to tell you something" he said carefully.

Lian felt her heart thump as she felt something wrong. "What's that?" ask her with a trembling voice.

"Eris?" Lian tried to call Eris, but there was no answer. He felt confused and sad, like losing someone he loved so much.

Lian tried to calm herself down and thought of a way out of this situation. He recalled Eris' words about the extremely powerful dark force and realized that he had to move quickly to get out of this labyrinth before it was too late.

With a strong determination, Lian continued running and finally found a way out of the labyrinth. He came out to the surface and saw the bright sunlight and the blue sky. He was relieved and grateful to have survived.

However, his heart was still injured from losing Eris. He did not know if he would ever meet her again, but he knew that he would always remember Eris as a friend and a very meaningful person in his life.

However, Lian could not take too long pondering over her feelings as they had to immediately find a way to open the third door and continue their adventure. Eris took the small crystal and looked at Lian sharply.

"Eris, I know I can't force you to talk, but I need to know what's going on" Lian said in a soft voice.

Eris did not reply, but she gave Lian a small smile that showed that she understood.

The two of them started walking around the room, looking for signs of how to open the third door. After searching for a while, Lian found an image on the wall that showed three large crystals located above three small altars. Next to the image, there was text written in a strange, unknown language.

"Eris, look at this," Lian said as she pointed to the picture. "I think we should put the three crystals on top of those altars."

Eris nodded, indicating that she agreed with Lian's opinion. They then attempted to find the other three large crystals that were necessary.

After searching for a while, they found the crystals in another part of the room. The crystals were very heavy and difficult to move, but with cooperation they managed to move them and place them on proper altars.

When the three crystals were placed correctly, the third door opened by itself. The two of them entered a new room filled with darkness, and they could feel an extremely powerful and evil aura around them.

Lian and Eris clung to each other tightly, ready to face all the obstacles before them. They knew that they had to keep going, even if it meant facing greater danger than they had ever experienced before.
