Chapter 11: The Harsh Decision

Lian and Eris have managed to find a way out of the complicated labyrinth, but now they are faced with a difficult choice. They arrive at a large room located in the middle of the underground world, where they discover that there are two paths they can take.

On the left, there is a bright and luminous path, which promises freedom and a return to the surface world. On the right, there was a dark and mysterious road, which was not clearly its purpose but felt attractive to Eris.

Lian hesitated, but she knew that if she chose the wrong path, she might never get out of there. Eris hesitated, as she felt that something was interesting from the dark path.

"Let's choose the bright path" Lian said in the end. "We must strive to return to the surface world and find our family."

Eris is unsure, but she follows Lian. They stepped slowly towards the bright path, but suddenly, they were faced with a group of ferocious creatures. The creatures attack them violently, and Lian and Eris must fight to survive.

In that fierce fight, Lian and Eris worked well together as a team. They protect each other and help each other, and eventually manage to defeat the creatures.

After the fight was over, Lian and Eris were relieved that they had managed to fight their enemies. However, as they continue on their journey, they realize that they have lost the bright path.

"Maybe we should choose that dark path" Eris said. "It looks interesting to me."

Lian hesitated, but she finally agreed. They chose the dark path, and continued their journey into the infinite darkness.

Now, they must face far greater danger than they have ever faced before, and they must risk everything to continue their journey. However, with the courage and determination they had, they were ready to face everything that was in front of them.

Lian looked at Eris with a sharp look. He was shocked by what he had just heard. How could Eris conspire with their enemies? What is the real purpose of this woman?

"Wait a minute" said Lian, trying to digest the information she had just received. "What do you mean by working with them?"

Eris did not answer directly. He just looked at Lian blankly, as if he was considering the words that would come out of his mouth.

"Lian," said Eris at last, her voice sounding weak. "I know this sounds ridiculous, but I did it to protect you."

Lian was getting confused. He did not understand Eris's intentions. How could he protect Lian by cooperating with their enemies?

"I know they're looking for someone" said Eris softly, as if reluctant to reveal any further.

"Someone?" asked Lian in surprise.

"You, Lian," said Eris honestly.

Lian surprised. What does Eris mean? Why are their enemies looking for them? And why should Eris cooperate with them?

"That's it, Eris," said Lian finally, after a while considering the words that would come out of her mouth. "I trust you, but we have to find another way to protect me. We need to find a way out of here and get out of this place as fast as we can."

Eris was silent for a moment. He knew Lian was right, but he did not know how to protect Lian from their enemies. He felt trapped in a difficult dilemma.

However, when Eris looked at Lian, she felt sure that she did not want to lose the teenager. He feels called to protect Lian, despite having to sacrifice himself.

"All right," said Eris at last. "I'll find a way to protect you, Lian. But you have to promise me to always be careful and follow my lead."

Lian nodded steadily. He was moved by Eris' loyalty, though he did not know what would happen next.

The two of them continued on their way, looking for a way out of the place. They walked through dark and winding passages, trying to avoid the dangers lurking around every corner.

After a while, they arrived at a spacious room. In the middle of the room, there was a large portal made of blue crystal. The portal looked extremely beautiful, but Lian felt that something was strange about it.

"Eris" he said. "There's something strange about that portal. Is it safe for us to enter?"

Eris nodded. "The mortal is safe. It was the portal that brought us to the outside world. We have to get into it."

Lian hesitated, but then she took a deep breath and followed Eris into the portal. They were thrown into a bright light, and when Lian opened her eyes, she saw that they were on green and fertile ground.

"Eris, we made it out!" lian said with joy.

Eris smiled. "Yes, we did it."

Lian looked at Eris with gratitude. Without Eris' help, he would never be able to get out of that underground world. "Thank you, Eris. I will never forget your help."

Eris simply smiled and grabbed her hand. "We are true friends, Lian. We'll always help each other."

They walked together towards the city, enjoying the natural beauty that was around them. However, in Lian's heart, he knew that they still had many adventures to deal with. However, together, he knew that they could overcome all the obstacles that lay before them. Finally, Lian was relieved that she had returned to the real world and was free from the darkness that once covered her.

"Eris" said Lian hesitantly. "I feel that there is something strange about this portal. Are you sure we should get through it?"

Eris furrowed her brows, "What do you mean weird?"

Lian groped towards the portal, "I felt that something was threatening from there. It was like there was an aura of darkness enveloping this portal."

Eris looked at the portal more closely, "You're right, Lian. There is a terrifying power within this portal. But this is the only way out of here. We have to take a risk."

Lian was unsure, but she knew Eris was right. They don't have much choice. They had to pass through that portal if they wanted to get out of this underground world.

Eris looked at Lian seriously, "I don't know what's inside this portal, Lian. But I'm sure that we can handle whatever's in there if we're together."

Lian felt a little calmer hearing Eris' words. He knew that Eris was very strong and experienced in using her magic. Together, they would definitely be able to overcome whatever appeared inside that portal.

Without any more hesitation, they stood in front of the portal and entered it. The moment they entered the portal, they felt a strange sensation engulfing their bodies. It felt like they were being pulled into a powerful vortex of wind.

The moment they exited the portal, they were somewhere completely different. They were in a bright cave. The light of the sun shone brightly from above, and all around it was a fertile land and lush green trees.

Lian and Eris looked around them in surprise. They could not believe that they had made it out of that underground world.

Eris patted Lian on the shoulder, "We made it, Lian! We made it out of there!"

Lian smiled, feeling relieved and happy. He could not wait to see again the bright sunlight, and felt a gentle breeze blowing on his face.

They walked slowly, enjoyed the beautiful scenery and felt grateful for their success. They know that their adventure is not over yet, but they are ready to face whatever lies ahead of them. Together, they are ready to face whatever comes.

Lian and Eris then exit the portal, and they find themselves in a vast cave. In the distance, they could see a bright light radiating from above.

"We're almost there" said Eris, "but we have to be careful. We don't know what's waiting up there."

Lian nodded, and they walked closer to that light. After a while, they arrive at a tunnel that takes them out of the cave.

When they get out, Lian and Eris find themselves in a very strange place. They were above the clouds, with a clear sky above their heads and a land far below them. It was unclear how they could be there, but Lian felt that this was a very important place.

"Eris, where are we?" lian asked, but Eris just smiled.

"We're in a very special place" said Eris, "a place where magic really exists."

Eris then guides Lian to a large building made of crystal. Inside the building, they found a group of people gathered around a large, brightly glowing crystal.

"Welcome, Lian," said an old woman in white clothes and silver hair, "you have completed your journey."

Lian felt that she had arrived at a very important place, a place where great secrets would be revealed and miracles would occur. He feels ready to face whatever is coming, and together with Eris and her new friends, Lian is ready to embark on a new chapter in her adventure.
