Ch 52 — Past Eriana & Tohrei(1)

- Second Arc: The Beginning Of The Adventure{Start}-

...Nine years ago...

In an empire, there lived a very beautiful and enchanting princess. Once, he was riding a horse-drawn carriage. The horse-drawn carriage led him to an event that he did not like at all, the feast of nobles.

Her name was Eriana Viel Aelion. Her beauty was unrivaled throughout the empire. He is currently only 6 years old. While being bored on the way by horse carriage, Eriana looked out the window of the carriage.

Not far from the horse carriage, Eriana noticed a strange figure stepping in this direction. The figure was four-legged and looked strange with its jet black color covering its entire body.

Seeing that, Eriana alerted the bodyguards guarding her outside.. “Uncle, do uncle know what's there?” Eriana pointed to the creature.

The bodyguards who heard Eriana's question immediately looked in the direction pointed. He suddenly paled as soon as he saw the creature. The coachman and the other bodyguards also turned their heads and also came pale-faced.

“Wire! The driver has increased speed! We have to go as soon as possible!” The bodyguard ordered the horseman.

“A...ah good!” The coachman responded and increased the speed of his horse.

They go at the speed they can. Their sweat was pouring out, only Eriana did not feel that because she was the only one who did not know what the creature was.

“Why are we growing faster? What's wrong?” Eriana asked out of astonishment.

One of the guards replied in a panicked tone. “We must run immediately! If not then—!” Not finished talking, suddenly the bodyguard's head was cut off for no apparent reason.

Eriana could only petrify at the events that were happening near her eyes. The blood from the guard splashed onto his face. He could only feel confused in his heart, he did not understand the current situation.

“Come on princess! We can't hold it too lam—Agghhh!!” The bodyguards who told Eriana to run were quickly pounced on by the black figure. The same thing happened to the horseman. They screamed in fear before death.

Eriana could only obey the words and get out of the carriage and run into the forest. With a frightened face Eriana continued to run non-stop.

He looked back and was surprised when the monster was already so close and growing closer. The monster slid a scratch at him. He can only close his eyes to reduce the pain he will experience.

But out of nowhere appeared a boy who ran towards Eriana and hugged her to protect her. As a result, the child was exposed to the scratches of the creature. Surprisingly, the boy only received three scratches on his back.

Realizing that someone was hugging her, Eriana opened her eyes. He saw a black-haired boy protecting him. He is Tohrei, he is currently 7 years old.

Her heart was slapped as soon as she saw her figure, it happened without Eriana noticing.

They were thrown and dragged on the ground with the boy's position under his back to the ground. His scar rubbed against the ground.

“Who are you?”

“It doesn't matter! We must run away from the creature immediately!” Tohrei immediately stood up while enduring the pain he received. He held Eriana in front and immediately ran.

The black monster behind them was still chasing with a gaze that targeted its prey.

Their distance continued to shorten due to Tohrei's slow speed due to her holding Eriana. He thought that this was the end, but an old lady in maid clothes came and fell and struck the black monster.

His strength was so illogical for an old woman, once he hit the monster, the ground instantly cracked and the bones of the monster crumbled. Seeing that, Eriana and Tohrei were shocked.

Seeing the old woman's whereabouts, Tohrei stopped running and turned around. He knows her. “Ersila! You've finally come!” Tohrei said happily.

“Are you okay young master?” The maid-clothed old woman turned her head towards Tohrei.

As the old woman turned her head, the black monster she had found got back up and launched an attack at her.

“Awas!” Eriana who realized that tried to warn him.

However, unexpectedly, the old woman casually shook her hand. Instantly the monster's body was cut into pieces.

“Woah! It's great! You can indeed continue to amaze me Ersila!” Tohrei spoke familiarly to the old woman he called Ersila.

Eriana was so stunned and at the same time did not believe what she saw. He never imagined that there would be an old woman who could do such a thing.
