"Aah!"
"Darling! You why?" With worry, Aditya rushed to Rahayu who suddenly felt like pain in the head.
The two of them are currently dining together at a restaurant subscription both. Rahayu's favorite five-star seafood hotel.
Aditya is worried if the wife's cholesterol can go back up after eating lobster. As it happened a few weeks ago.
"Ehh. don't know, Mom. Suddenly my head hurts," said Rahayu who still seemed to grimace in pain.
"We should go to the doctor right now!" Take Aditya a little panic.
Rahayu did not respond. He still seemed to grimace in silence.
Only after a long time passed finally Rahayu's face that had been pale for a moment, now again found her color again.
Rahayu said, "as she was better, Mas. Don't go to the doctor. I think I'm okay," said Rahayu.
"But.."
"Udah, Mom. Please.. We continue to eat again huh? You sit there again. Not good to see the same other guests, you know," said Rahayu while glancing around them.
Aditya followed the eyes of his wife. And it's true. Several other restaurant visitors were now watching the two of them. Including a waitress who had walked closer to where the second table was.
"Is there anything I can help you with, sir? Maam?" Sapa the waitress.
Aditya lost quickly to Rahayu. Because his wife was the first to recite the greeting of the waitress.
"It's okay. Just a little dizziness earlier," said Rahayu.
"Would Ma am like to taste other menus besides seafood? Maybe Ma am had a history of allergies before her?" Ask the waitress who seems to have just worked at this restaurant.
Aditya guessed so because in his previous visit he never saw the face of the waitress.
"Go back to your place. Don't you know who I am?! My wife told me she was okay!" Cried Aditya with upset emotions that look real.
The waitress seemed daunted after receiving a bluff from Aditya. He was in a hurry to leave after before he said the word 'sorry' with lightning.
"Mas! Why are you so angry? Pity his servant. He was so scared!" Tegur Rahayu to the point.
Aditya's hard face spontaneously melted and changed with a gentle expression as he stared at the wife's face.
"It was just a waitress negur, Yang. He asked too much. Just disturb!" Aditya said with a smiling face.
In her heart, Rahayu felt a little trepidation towards her husband's personality. During the few years she remembered going through with Aditya, Rahayu sometimes felt a baseless fear of her husband.
Though all this time Aditya always applies meekly to him. Aditya always gives whatever he wants. And Rahayu was very grateful for that.
Even so, Rahayu also can not deny the dualism of the husband who suddenly can change very hard when dealing with others whose attitude he does not like. Like the waiter earlier.
Aditya did not hesitate to immediately say rude to the waiter. Though according to Rahayu the question of the waiter was not to disturb her. Even Rahayu considered the waiter had a considerable empathy because he dared to offer something else that he thought could help reduce Rahayu's pain.
Rahayu looked at her husband. The handsome face that reminded him of the old actor Primus Yustisio still holds an appeal for many women. Especially her socialite female colleagues in the complex arisan group or the female secretaries of the husband in her office.
Rahayu once came to Aditya's office to give a surprise. And he was really sorry for coming there.
This is because at that time Rahayu finally realized the dualism of the husband. Where Aditya was gentle with him, while to his subordinates Aditya was a little too authoritarian.
At that time Rahayu even saw Aditya stepping on the hands of his men to bleed. And it was caused by the mistake that his subordinates had made.
It was an unforgettable experience for Rahayu. And at that time Rahayu immediately rebuked the husband to be more gentle also to his subordinates.
Aditya promises to follow Rahayu's advice. But her husband asked that Rahayu no longer come to his office.
Reason cliches. Aditya is worried that Rahayu is coming when she is not in the office. Of course it will only be a futile and tiring journey for the wife.
Rahayu followed the husband's request. But not for the reasons expressed by Aditya. But more because he did not want to see a bloody race like that again.
"Hh. but can't the negur be as hard as it was?" Tegur Rahayu is back.
Aditya's eyebrows twitch. Signs of not liking something. Rahayu noticed the twitch after her interaction with Aditya all along. Because Rahayu was in a hurry to add.
"But thank you, Mom. It already cares about me.." added Rahayu with a heart that beats a little faster than before.
Aditya's face looks relaxed. And Rahayu could also sigh in relief at last. Aditya stuck his hand forward. And then took his wife's fingers white, smooth and slender.
Aditya kisses gently on the back of his wife's fingers. Makes Rahayu for a moment forget her fear of her husband.
With a blush, Rahayu said. "You're doing it anyway, Mas. Shame ah, seen by others," said Rahayu with reddened cheeks.
"So why? You are my wife. So it's only right if I pay attention to you. Don't mind the assumptions of others. You can see me and me. Ok?" Imbuh Aditya with pongah.
Rahayu did not say the words of her husband. He chose to be quiet and hide the taste that was a while before he could point to the husband.
A fear.
'How weird. Why do I often feel disinclined and afraid of Mas Adit? Though he was always kind to me.' asked Rahayu in her own mind.
"What do you think, honey?" Ask Aditya suddenly.
Rahayu surprised. So that he did not immediately answer Aditya's question. So Aditya asked again.
"Is your head hurting anymore?" Ask Aditya with worry.
"ah! Notwithstanding. That's not. I just wanted something earlier. Know-know my head even hurt," said Rahayu in a hurry.
And suddenly Aditya's eyes glittered with something. But Rahayu did not see it. With a smiling face, Aditya asked Rahayu.
"What do you remember, Yang?" Ask Aditya slowly.
Rahayu looked at the distance while remembering something. He was still unaware of the glint of the menacing expression on the husband's face.
"I was the same keingetan Adnan's friend, Mas. That's what I played at home yesterday. The most beautiful but very simple appearance," said Rahayu explained.
"Oh yeah? What...why is that girl..?" Ask Aditya in an increasingly cautious tone.
This time, Rahayu realized Aditya's tone had suddenly changed. And she had seen a foreign expression on her husband's face. The expression that instantly made her flinched by the feeling of baseless fear towards the husband.
But Aditya so quickly changed his facial expression back to what he usually is soft and friendly. Until Rahayu had thought that she was just an illusion when she saw a cruel expression that flashed too quickly.
But Rahayu knew that she was not illusory. He knew that expression. The same expression he had seen appeared when he accidentally saw the husband trampling the hands of his men in the office once.
And Rahayu shudder made her. An unidentified alarm goes off in Rahayu's head. His instincts say that he should be careful when talking about a girl named Ranum. Because somehow he always felt a threatening feeling from the husband every time they talked about their son's friend.
Though they had only met a few times in his house with Ranum. So, for what reason can the threatening aura emerge from Aditya? Rahayu really doesn't understand.
"Ah. but maybe because I ate too many lobsters too huh, Mas. So my kepqla is a little migraine. How about we just go home now?" Invite Rahayu, in order to divert attention to other topics.
"Hm..so? Right, you don't remember anything, Yang?"
Without blinking, Rahayu immediately replied.
"Yes. I don't remember anything, Mom. Just like his friends Adnan who are friendly," added Rahayu with a face made as neutral as possible.
"Including that girl named Ranum, isn't it?" Ask Aditya with an intense glance.
Rahayu was a little nervous. Somehow she seems to be being investigated by her husband at this time. But Rahayu tried to brush off the nervousness. And answer the husband's questions in the same normal tone of voice as possible.
"Yes. Including Ranum.." added Rahayu.
