The Forsaken Heart Flakes

The Forsaken Heart Flakes
Chapter 3

After the departure of Susan's mother, Nadira entered her house while carrying the Tiara she carried. The fatigue and heartache he had just received from his mother-in-law was quite treated when he saw the look of Tiara's face that looked adorable.

"Thank you, baby. You become a remedy for your heartache. Sorry because Mama has made Tiara wait a long time," said Nadira while kissing and hugging her little daughter.

Nadira realized that Tiara was not well taken care of by her in-laws, it was seen from the face of the baby that looked cute. Not to mention the clothes he wore were used yesterday afternoon. This morning Nadira did not have time to change Tiara clothes because he woke up late. So, she thought that her mother-in-law would bathe the child, but it was not Susan. Despite his tired body, Nadira immediately cooks warm water to wipe Tiara's body. She doesn't want her little baby to feel uncomfortable when she goes to bed tonight.

While waiting for the water to boil, Nadira intended to cook rice, his stomach was already very rumbling because he only had lunch while in the factory cafeteria last afternoon. Nadira is lucky, Tiara is a smart baby because she does not have to keep carrying him.

"Darling, wait here, yeah! Mama wants to cook rice first," said Nadira before he died Tiara who was playing with his two legs lifted up.

Nadira's hand movements came to a halt as he opened the bucket of the usual rice storage area. The young lady's eyes dimmed instantly with a tightness in her chest.

"Why is this empty? Yesterday there was still half a bucket of rice again" asked Nadira quietly. Surprised? Sure oes. He did not know who had the heart to take the rice in his house without his permission.

"Did you pick up rice here? Why didn't you tell me anything?"

There's nothing Nadira can cook for tonight. The money that was in his grasp was left in front of thousands more. While Danu still can not he call. The young woman could only prop her stomach using warm water which she gulped a lot. Nadira immediately wiped Tiara with warm water. Again the movement of the young mother's hand stopped when she saw the bruises on the back and thighs of her little daughter.

"Oh my God, dear .. Who has bruised your body like this?" muttered Nadira while rubbing the surface of Tiara's skin that is greenish blue. The woman's heart was sliced with pain, she did not accept her daughter was required rough by her husband's family. However, at this time to get angry he did not dare because Danu would instead go back to scolding him.

"You're patient, yeah, baby. Mama will not stay silent if you continue to be treated harshly like this by them" Nadira said, clenching her hands. He tried to endure the pain, anger, and disappointment in his heart.

After she finished dressing Tiara, she intended to meet her mother-in-law who lived opposite her contract. Of course to ask what they had done to his daughter and ask what food they had taken. His heart was suddenly unwilling if they still dared to take his food after committing violence on Tiara.

"Oh my God .. Why is my fate like this?" Nadira muttered softly while giving ASI to Tiara. She just hopes the baby is okay because ASI–nya must be bland, she did not eat anything since coming home from work earlier.

After making sure Tiara was full to consume ASI–nya, Nadira immediately returned to hold the baby. She had no choice but to take Tiara with her to Susan's mother's house at night like this.

"Assalamua'laikum!" greet Nadira as she stands at the door of Susan's mother's house.

"Bu ..," call Nadira again when Susan's mother doesn't open the door for her.

Nadira tried to turn the doorknob, but it was locked from the inside.

It's been 10 minutes since Nadira stood on the porch of Susan's mother's house, but her in-laws haven't opened the door yet. While beyond the water the sky began to descend to the earth and exhale a cold wind that was strong enough for her baby.

"Oh my God .. Where is Mom really going? Usually he never goes out at night, either" Nadira murmured, allowing a blanket to cover Tiara's body so that the baby would not get cold.

After almost 15 minutes of Nadira standing, he finally chose to go home with a hollow heart. She felt a little disappointed with her mother-in-law for not opening the door at all for her and preferred to pretend not to hear the knock of the door.

Nadira came home at a fast pace, he did not want to make Tiara rain on the road. Not to forget, Nadira also spent the rest of the money she held to buy half a liter of rice, impossible if she had to hold her empty stomach for longer because she was breastfeeding, she said, pity Tiara if her ASI– taste is bland.

On the other hand, Susan's mother is currently with her daughter and daughter-in-law in the television room. She had heard the sound of calls and knocking on the door by Nadira, but she chose to ignore it.

"Mom, is that Burden gone?" tanya Nia, she is Nadira's sister-in-law, aka her brother Danu.

"It seems like it already is, Ni. It was also impossible for him to linger standing outside. Especially now that it's raining" replied Susan's mother as she peeked out of the house through the side window.

"Oh, yes it is .. for what we think of 'Load' like him, it is useless as well."

"Hush, don't be like that, Ni. Nadira is your sister-in-law. Don't hurt him too much. It'll be hard if we have to!" erhan, Nia's husband.

"Why are you defending him, Mom?" Nia did not accept when Erhan defended Nadira.

Erhan shook his head. "Not to defend him, baby. But ... if your speech reaches his ears, later we will not be free to take his belongings. You want us to be in trouble for not being able to use him anymore?"

Erhan's question suddenly made the pair of mother and child shake their head directly.

"Of course not, Mum. Where do we want to be hard again. To take care of her son I've pissed me off" Nia said quickly.

"Yes already. What is important now is that we are not as troubled as yesterday. Si Tiara was also a child. He won't be able to complain to his mother." Susan's mother chimed in on the words of her daughter.
