The Incomplete Love

The Incomplete Love
Our Love is Eternal …

London, twelve years later …

Qiara, Liam, Kala, Abby, Triplets, and Zee walked hand in hand. They stopped in front of a new tombstone.

In loving memories of our dad and grandfather, Philip Donavy.

“Hai grandpa,” greet Zee who is now thirteen years old. His cheeks were reddened by the cold wind that characterizes the city of London and its surroundings.

Her hand placed a flower arrangement on the tomb of Phil who had passed away in his sleep ten years ago. He left the world with a happy smiling face.

“I bet grandma Dian picked him up,” said Liam who was about to wake Phil from sleep, but it turns out his grandfather had slept for good.

They prayed for a moment in front of Phil's grave and then walked down the cemetery made like a beautiful garden in the suburbs of London.

Stopping at a tombstone, Qiara put two fingers to her lips and then kissed her slowly.

“Hai, Dev, darling, how are you doing? I miss you,” she said inwardly.

Six years passed and Qiara still could not forget Devan.

The doctor, who is credited with helping his patients to have offspring, was diagnosed with cancer in the spine due to remaining injuries while riding injuries away from Stella.

Just a year the cancer gnawed on Devan's body.

One night Qiara felt Devan's hand touch her gently. Waking from his sleep.

“Honey, it’s time ..” Say Devan dries out with a smile.

Qiara shook her head. Tears drenched her beautiful net.

“No, please, yes Allah, please, do not ..”

“Don't cry anymore, Beautiful. You and the kids should be happy, yeah. I will always be with you. I put our children to you. Sorry I can't accompany you until our grandchildren are born.” Devan said slowly, taking every word.

Qiara kissed Devan's hand.

“Sssh, let me see your beautiful face, Qiara Anjani, My Love,” pinta Devan soft.

They sat. That night Devan looked incredibly handsome. Just like when Qiara first fell in love with her. There are no more pain-bearing strokes that Devan often hides from his wife and children.

“You will always be in my heart, Dev. You are my true love,” said Qiara sobbing.

“And you are my forever love.”

Devan traced Qiara's pretty face as if wanting to carry in his memory. The man looked at his wife with love.

Breathing snorted.

“I call doctors and children.”

“Qiara Dear, I just want to be with you. Lead me ...”

“Laa ilaahaillallaah ..”

In one breath, Devan went to meet the Khalik.

Qiara continued to stare at Devan's face which was as if it was deep in a beautiful dream. His face was shining, his lips were smiling and he turned his face to the right.

“Innaalillaahi wa innaailaayhi roji’un. Allahumagfirlahu warhamhu wa’afihi wa’fu’hu.” Prayer recited with sorrow while wiping tears so as not to drip into the body of her husband.

Qiara released the hand that was still gripped by Devan's palm when she saw a small piece of paper tucked in there.

When I left, I freed my possession of you, my love. Seek your happiness until we meet again in heaven. Your forever true love, Devan.

Qiara tried to hold back her tears, but her heart now felt hollow. There is no longer a figure in which to lean in joy or sorrow. Shady eyes that always wait for him to sleep. No more Devan …

The news of Devan's death made everyone who had known him grieve.

Thoriq and Aira fly to London. Jeremy came with his wife and children. No less Nadine and Kevin. Then the doctor's colleagues and not a few patients who were helped were present to pay their last respects. Dicky, Hanna, and his family followed suit as they waited for visa.

Qiara sat surrounded by all her children and Liam. Devan's son is now the leader of Qiara and his younger siblings. The funeral was solemn and full.

When everyone had left the tomb, Qiara whispered, “Please be there, My dear. Answer the angel's question well. May your grave be a garden of heaven for you.”

Qiara still wanted to linger there when Liam and Kala picked her up. The rain began to drizzle down and wet the earth, crying with Qiara. Reluctant to step, the woman who was losing was willing to be led by her two children.

Devan's departure leaves a sorrow that can not be lost. Six years passed and his eyes still implied yearning. He's still looking for Devan in every corner of his house.

Since her father died, Liam, who had been living alone in a penthouse in the middle of the city, decided to return to the house of Qiara to sow Bunanya and Zee, who were six years old at that time.

He had to return to Germany to study medicine. Abby went on to study culinary in Switzerland. Triplets spread across three continents, Azka studied IT in America and had worked in Silicon Valley, Barran unexpectedly chose to study religious science in Medina, Madinah, hayyan returned to Australia for a military education program.

That week the entire children of Qiara and Devan gathered. They wanted to visit the tomb of Phil and their father.

Qiara bit her lips to relieve the pain that was still felt even though six years had passed.

Liam embraces his mother, “I'm sure Daddy is staring at Buna with his bucini look.”

Inevitably, Qiara laughed at Liam's speech.

“I hope that if one day meet someone, he will look at me like Daddy staring at Buna,”, said Abby who is melancholy.

“If Zee peng Daddy is here,” Zee says innocently while continuing to stare at his father's headstone. The teenage girl was only six years old when her father died and she still wanted to indulge with Devan.

Kala and Hayyan simultaneously embraced Zee. Azka knelt on the grass likening her younger sister and said, “Zee, be patient, Brother miss Daddy too. Really kangen.”

Zee hugged Azka and sobbed. Qiara calls him, “Sini, Zee equals Buna, we pray for Daddy.”

Qiara's soft and soothing voice made Zee stop sobbing then immediately scatter into Bunanya's embrace.

“Buna misses Daddy too, right? Zee is not alone?”

“Buna misses out on Daddy ..always.”

They then send a prayer to their father while remembering all the sweet memories of Devan's time with them.

After the pilgrimage, Qiara busied herself in the kitchen with Abby and Zee, while the boys chatted in the living room.

“Liam, have you proposed to Mba Aira, yet?” Azka asked who was watching her eldest brother was pensive.

“I want to, but it looks like Aira hasn't wanted to leave Uncle Thoriq to stay here. I'm also confused if I have to leave Buna and Zee.”

“No worries, in three months I have graduated as a specialist and have also been accepted to work at a hospital in London,” said Kala was calming.

“Tau what is best, if .. ni if yes, Buna married again Uncle Thoriq, well that is! Smart not me?” Cetus Barran is the most flippant among them.

“Well, really. I remember when Daddy died, Uncle Thoriq continued to look after Buna even though it was not obvious,” Hayyan said.

“But Buna is now closing herself off from Aya. Every time Aya asked the news, Buna only answered as necessary. Finally Aya asked through me. But I was thinking since Daddy's departure, Buna was like a shut herself down. Buna just drove Zee off to school and spent time reading in Daddy's favorite chair. Even he's handed over office to Daddy's cousin, right, Liam?” I was concerned to think of Bunanya.

Her brother nodded. Already several times he invited Qiara to talk to relieve the burden of grief, but Bunanya always said everything was fine.

When speechless to think, “I think you should go ahead and purpose to Aira. Buna already know?”

“Really? Me and Aira were only thinking about Aya and Buna. Only Daddy knows about me and Aira, Kal.”

“You got my blessings, take care and love my sister huh, Liam. About Buna, I'll accelerate my studies and return to London.”

“Awas aja if you do not love blessings, how many bribes I love so that I can relate distance jauuuh with Aira.”

When giggling. He did place himself as a portal to take care of his sister.

“All the best, if you are married I will not ask for bribes. Possibly ..”

Liam had not heard what his sister said, in his mind only one wish: to marry Aira.

“Welcome, what a surprise to be invited to eat at a fancy restaurant ..”

“Make Buna must be debest,” he said earnestly.

Liam has ordered Qiara's favorite peppermint tea and appetizing appetizers.

“Buna, thank you, for being the best Buna for Liam. I am not a real child, but Buna does not distinguish me from my other brothers.”

“You, son of Buna. Forever,” Qiara said as she looked at Liam's face that reminded her of Devan.

“Buna, I want to take Buna and Zee to Indonesia. There's a girl I want to edit.”

“Indonesia? Buna missed the story. Who, Liam? Buna thinks you don't have a girlfriend yet, just want Buna to know the same daughter of Buna.”

Liam smiled, in his heart and mind there was only one girl, Aira.

“Sweet girl, sholihah, Buna sure likes.”

“His photo link dong.”

Liam thought for a moment, but not Love Guru if everything had been opened from the beginning.

“It’s gonna be a surprise. Liam has known her for a long time, but a mother's instincts must be sharper than North Korean radar. So Buna told me if she was the best or not ..”

Qiara grabbed the child's hand. “I can tell that you are so in love. Buna apologizes for not being aware of your feelings.”

“I’m cool ..he and I have known him for a long time, Buna. But I only talk occasionally. My girl is obedient. Her father and sister take great care of her. Especially her brother, anyway,” Liam scratches the head that does not itch considering the behavior of Kala's polah. It is not imagined how if Kala has a daughter later.

“Good dong, how old is it?”

“Now it's almost 28 years.”

“Oh lifetime Kalandra, dong.”

“Hmm, only a month apart if not wrong,” Liam replied while covering so that Bunanya did not guess the girl was Aira.

“Lecture in London too?”

“Oh no, Buna. He holds a Bachelor degree in Indonesia, then he again takes an online master degree at MIT. I worked at his father's company engaged in tourism.”

“I can tell that you’re so in love with her .. aaah my son is getting married.” Qiara's heart was very happy. For the first time since Devan died, Liam saw his Bunanya beaming back.

“So Buna and Zee this weekend to Indonesia, yes. My prospective family will meet us in Jakarta.”

Qiara nodded, maybe it was time for him to change the atmosphere so as not to be too sad.

“Zee would have asked to see Malika son Aunt Hanna, later Buna would go to Semarang also ah.”

Liam just nodded because Hanna and her family would be in Jakarta.

“Kak Liam, help Zee install this.” Zee is the only sister who insists on calling Liam with Kak's attributes. The teenage girl held out her father's gift necklace to Liam.

“Beautiful really, whose sister is this?”

“His sister.” When she finished, Zee hugged her sister. He was a bit possessive because for him Liam was like a substitute for Devan.

“If Sister is married, do not forget the same Zee, yes.” Zee tightened his embrace.

Liam kissed his sister's head and distanced Zee's body. He stared fixedly at the round netra with raised eyebrows waiting for his answer.

Liam then tidied up Zee's haircut that came out of his veil while answering, “In shaa Allah, enggak, Zee who is beautiful, cute, and funny.”

Liam understands that due to the age gap too far with his older brothers, Zee does not feel the thrill when they all gather every night.

“Later there Kak Kala will stay at the same house Buna, because maybe Kak will stay in Indonesia.”

“In the Lord. Yay, really Kala want to stay home again? Asik, Kak Kala exclamation.”

Qiara came out of the room, they were staying at the penthouse of a well-known hotel in the Indonesian capital.

“How do I look? Buna is nervous about this, wanting to treat girls. Is this too much?”

Liam and Zee are stunned.

“Buna, gorgeous,” says Zee doesn't blink.

“Oke too much, then.” Qiara turned around to replace the black robe with a colorful sequin decoration on the cuff that made Qiara look elegant.

“No no no! Buna, you are perfect.”

“Really, Liam? You are no longer jahilin Buna, right? Too much for dinner introductions?”

“Perfect,” Liam replied earnestly, because that is how Qiara is. At his age who stepped on his fifties he still looked young and graceful.

“Let’so go, Buna ..” Zee took Buna cheerfully.

The dinner was initiated by the girl's family in a private room at the same hotel.

Qiara walked in the middle flanked by Liam and Zee.

“Liam, are you degdegan n?” Qiara asked as she tightened her circular hand on Liam's arm.

“Ngak, in shaa Allah all smoothly.”

Liam had first met Thoriq and Hanna before he spoke to Qiara. Everyone welcomed Liam's plan to propose Aira.

“Kok Buna degdegan, feel Buna who want to be applied.”

Unbeknownst to Qiara, Liam and Zee blinked each other's eyes.

In his nervousness Qiara said, “I wish your Daddy were here.”

“Everything will be just perfect. All of God is the best. Sometimes we humans cannot yet align our expectations with God's will. Including the departure of Daddy, Buna must be sincere and confident as the best for Daddy and all of us.” Liam said as he stroked Bunanya's hand.

Qiara suddenly stopped her steps making Liam and Zee turn towards her in surprise.

They saw Qiara close her eyes. A tear fell down her cheek.

“Buna ..” Liam and Zee embrace their Buna out of worry.

“I’m fine, I’m fine. Sorry because Buna so melt down hear your words.”

Qiara cupped his hands to the child's face he continued, “You will be a good priest to your wife and children. Continue to be Liam, The Love Guru, who is always inspiring. Thank you for opening the heart of Buna who has been covered in grief.”

Unknowingly, tears streamed down Liam's cheeks. The bunny has returned.

“Is everything okay?” A hotel official came to them. The presence of the Donavy family in their hotel is an honor. He wants to make sure everything is okay.

“Maa shaa Allah, everything is perfect alhamdulillah. Come, Zee, Temenin Buna to ladies room first.“ Qiara nodded at the hotel official and took Zee to the ladies room.

“Ready, Buna!” Zee also returned cheerful.

It only took a short time, Qiara had already returned with Liam. Now his steps feel lighter. Smile back on his lips.

The waiter opened the door to the private room and invited the three Donavy to enter.

Qiara greeted kindly to the family of his future bride, “Assalamualaykum, happy mall ... loh Mas Thoriq, Hanna, Dicky, Aira ..?”
