Ayunda raised her face, she stared fearfully at Mr. Adhitama.
"You have to do whatever I tell you and I want!" said Mr. Adhitama again.
Ayunda's heart is now back beating fast, negative thoughts come back to haunt him,
He imagined Mr. Adhitama would sell himself to bad people.
"Lord, I want to do whatever you want, but I beg you not to sell me to criminals. I am ready to be a servant for life in this house without a salary," said Ayunda, clenching his palms.
Mr. Adhitama looked at Ayunda with a difficult gaze to interpret, this made Ayunda more afraid of the fate that would come to him.
Mr. Adhitama was silent, he did not answer the plea made by the young girl from the village.
At least his heart was not moved to see the clear circles that were back wetting his cheeks.
The man stood up, then he stepped out of the dining room leaving Ayunda who was now crying.
Bi Nur felt sorry to see Ayunda who was now crying, he approached the young girl, then held Ayunda's shoulder.
"Here you go, don't be sad anymore" Bi Nur said.
Bi Nur also gently rubbed Ayunda's head. The soft caress of Bi Nur's hand made Ayunda lift her head, she saw the look of sincerity from the eyes of the woman who was the same age as her mother.
As Ayunda stood up, she hugged the middle-aged woman in front of her.
Not knowing why, Ayunda felt comfortable in the woman's arms.
Ayunda now began to cry bitterly in the arms of the woman who was the servant in the residence of Mr. Adhitama.
He felt the sincerity from Bi Nur, he felt Bi Nur could calm his currently restless heart.
Ayunda also feels happy to get a hug from a woman who may be the same age as her mother.
Just this time Ayunda felt the warmth of a mother of that middle-aged woman.
"O Allah, this is how it feels to get the warmth of affection from a mother, her embrace soothes my heart" Ayunda murmured inwardly.
"Mom, thank you, yeah." Ayunda let go of her embrace after her heart started to calm down.
"Sama-sama, if there is anything you just call mom, yes," said Bi Nur.
"Yes, Bi." Ayunda.
"Bi, can I ask you something?" ask Ayunda.
"I'm sorry, Miss. I have to finish my current job, next time if there is something you want to ask Mother will answer," said Bi Nur.
Bi Nur was afraid that Mr. Adhitama was angry because he told Ayunda, while the rest of the food at the dinner table was still scattered.
"Yes, then." Ayunda sat back in her place.
"Miss, you go into the room, afraid that Mr. Adhitama sees that she is still here, she can be angry" Bi Nur said.
Ayunda was increasingly afraid to hear Bi Nur's words, but at least her heart calmed down a little by getting a hug from the middle-aged woman.
"Alright, Mom. I'll go back to the room" Ayunda said.
Ayunda stood up and stepped out of the dining room, while in the middle of the magnificent house she had the idea of escaping from the grip of the old man who had bought her.
"Shall I run away from this house" Ayunda murmured inwardly.
Ayunda directed her footsteps towards the main door. He slowly opened the door, sneaking around so that no one would know what he had done.
"Alhamdulillah, I can get out of this house" Ayunda murmured inwardly as she was in the courtyard of the mansion.
"Miss," call one of the guards who is now in front of Ayunda.
"Mhm, kill me. I got caught, what do I do, huh?" muttered Ayunda in panic.
"Where are you going, Miss?" ask the security guard at Mr. Adhitama's residence.
"Mhm, there's nothing I just want to get some fresh air" Ayunda replied lying.
"Oh, you can find fresh air on the balcony of your room," said the gate guard.
"Oh really?" ask Ayunda not to believe it.
"Well, do I need to take you to your room?" ask the security guard.
"No, I'll go back to my room" Ayunda said.
Ayunda rushed into the magnificent house, he was afraid of being scolded by Mr. Adhitama.
The guard could only shake his head at the behavior of the village girl.
Ayunda was startled when she went back inside the house, Mr. Adhitama had been standing in front of the stairs.
Mr. Adhitama stared intently at Ayunda who had just entered.
"Sorry," said Ayunda worriedly.
"This is the last time you intend to run away from me" Mr. Adhitama snapped to Ayunda.
"Bi, you take care of this kid. Don't let him look for trouble after this" master Adhitama ordered Bi Nur.
The middle-aged woman nodded, she immediately approached Ayunda.
"Come, Miss. Follow me," take Bi Nur.
Bi Nur rushed to take Ayunda up one by one stairs.
"Miss, don't ever think of running away from this house again" Bi Nur advised Ayunda.
"But, I just want to go,-" Ayunda was still trying to reply to Bi Nur's words.
"You will be fine here, as long as you follow the rules set out in this house" advised Bi Nur.
Ayunda fell silent, she could not understand what Bi Nur said. His negative thoughts always made Ayunda unable to digest the meaning of the middle-aged woman's words.
"Bi, will I be fine, if I continue to settle in this house?" asked Ayunda to Bi Nur when they were in front of the door of Ayunda's room earlier.
"Obey everything set by Mr. Adhitama," said Bi Nur hope Ayunda does not act again.
Bi Nur clasped Ayunda's hand tightly before she left the young girl.
Ayunda was now sitting on the bed, his mind was now trying to digest every word spoken by Bi Nur.
"Actually that Mr. Adhitama, what kind of a man, anyway?" muttered Ayunda.
Ayunda continued to wonder about the figure of Mr. Adhitama, although he continued to think, he still did not find the answer to all the questions that now exist in his mind.
Ayunda also tried to lay her body on the large bed.
"Oh Allah, this bed is so soft, so much different that I have felt all along. In the village I had to sleep on a floor with a mat. My prayer device became a pillow on every long night that I had to go through. A long piece of shabby cloth accompanied me to warm this body in the cold" muttered Ayunda.
"What exactly is going to happen to me? O Allah, protect the servant" murmured Ayunda again.
