The Mother Connect

The Mother Connect
Chapter 71

Kinara's birthday has finally passed. Although the circumstances that Kinara felt were still the same as the previous year. At least that day he did not miss his birthday alone by shutting himself up in a room in the dark. This time there was Tama who always accompanied him. Grasping her hands and hugging her.

Kinara opened her eyes. Yesterday for almost a whole day the woman was crying and now she feels her eyes are swollen. Kinara got up from her position and sat in front of the mirror while staring at the reflection of her face there.

"My face looks really ugly" Kinara said as she looked at her face in the mirror. He then fell silent while recalling the events of yesterday. A heavy sigh came out from those natural pink lips.

"Taki and Maki must still be scared because of yesterday's events" said Kinara. "Are they going to hate me?"

Chequek!

The door of the room opened and it was Tama

"Wake up, honey?" tama asked as she walked closer to Kinara. Hugged his wife's slender body from behind and then kissed her head.

"Just now" replied Kinara. "Mas."

"Hm."

"How are the kids? Are they okay?" ask Kinara. She looked at her husband's face through the mirror.

"I should have asked you that. What do you feel now? Are you all right?" Tama asked back while returning Kinara's gaze which was also through the mirror reflection.

Kinara smiled. She then turned her body to face her husband's body. "I think I've forgotten what happened that day. But, apparently not. The events of that day are still clearly recorded in my memory and it was very painful. It's so crowded here that I'm having a hard time breathing." Kinara pointed at his chest. His teary eyes revealed a deep sadness.

Tama pulls Kinara into the deck. Swab the hair and give a light peck there. He knew what Kinara was feeling right now because he had been in that position, locked in guilt over Kiara's departure.

"You're not wrong, Nara. You are innocent. It's not you that they died, it's not you."

Tears rolled back on Kinara's smooth cheeks.

"I want to think like that too, Mom. To think that everything that happened that day was not my fault. But I can't because they rush home to blow candles with me. Because I kept whining asking them to come home soon. Though Aunt Reni has told me to blow the candle first and later can blow the candle when the mama-papa come home. But I kept forcing. Me, Mas. I'm the cause of the accident." Kinara let out everything she felt in her heart all this time.

Tama cupped his wife's face with both hands. Staring at those two lentic hairy eyeballs inside.

"You're just a ten-year-old kid. Naturally, if you want to celebrate your happy day with your parents. Both of your parents want to do the same. They want to get home fast not just because of your whining. Because they want to celebrate that happy day with you, with their only daughter. So don't blame yourself. They had an accident because of fate. That is the provision of the Creator and you must be sincere," said Tama. He wiped away the tears that fell on Kinara's cheek using his thumb.

"Remove yourself from that guilt. You always told me that Kiara would be sad to see me constantly shackled with my guilt. Now those words I give back to you. Your mothers will surely be very sad to see their beloved daughter continue to live with guilt. Let go of that burden and live happily." Tama kissed Kinara's forehead with an intense mouthpiece.

Kinara closed both her eyes. Enjoying the warmth of the affection that Tama channeled through the kiss.

"I made you an appointment with a psychologist. We'll be there later in the day together. For my sake, for the sake of the children, and for your own sake, you must recover from that trautama. Hm?"

Kinara opened her eyes. Look at her husband's eyes, then smile. Kinara nodded. Yes, he had to get away from that trauma. There was Tama and her two children who wanted to see her happy.

"But, Mas. Are you not working? Who will handle your job if you don't work?" asked Kinara while looking at her husband's face again.

"You forgot that? Your husband is the owner of the company. So, free to go to work or not. Anyway I've asked Doni to take care of my work today. Today there will also be a new secretary who helps Doni's work. So no problem" Tama replied.

"The money's only 30 years, honey. So, it is still natural to be single. Moreover, he's a guy" Kinara replied.

"But, pity that he could never go on a date because he was busy taking care of your church" Kinara replied again. "Wait!"

"What's wrong?" tanya Tama is confused.

"New secretary? What kind of guy is a girl? What's-her-name? How old? Since when?" Kinara strafed Tama with various questions.

"Yes, he just got in today. Girl, her name is if not wrong Lita. He was 22 years old" Tama replied, remembering the name of the newly recruited secretary.

"Beautiful?"

"Hmm. At least you can wash your eyes" replied Tama who immediately made Kinara bend her face.

"What's wrong? Don't tell me you're jealous?" tama asked when she saw his wife's expression.

"He's sitting at the table I used to sit at?"

Tama nodded. "And that's a desk for secretaries."

"Replace!" kinara said suddenly.

"Replace? What do you want replaced?"

"The secretaries. I want the secretary who replaces me to be a man. Or if you want a girl, find one who is over 40 years old, if necessary the same age as Bik Sumi," replied Kinara.

Tama chuckles. "If Bik Sumi's age, soon he retired dong? I have to give pension to someone who is new to work anyway? Could lose dong," replied Tama.

"I don't want your secretary to be a young woman. What if he's weird?" Kinara. It was only a moment ago that the woman looked very sad because she remembered her past. But, now the woman even showed her feelings of jealousy just because she heard there was a new secretary who would replace her as secretary from her husband.

"You jealous?" Tama again asked the same question while staring at the two beautiful eyeballs of Kinara.

Kinara did not reply, she just glared avoiding the gaze from her husband.

"Darling, whoever that woman is will be my secretary. It won't make me turn away from you. If I was the type of person who easily turned away, I would have been in love with women for a long time. But, proof? You were the first woman to steal my heart after Kiara's death."

"That's because you think I'm better than them. But, now you know that I have flaws. I'm mentally ill."

"Me too and we are the same" replied Tama. Tama pushed Kinara's chin with her index finger to make her look back at her face.

"I love you, Nara. Love you so much" Tama said as she stared at Kinara's eyes. Both hands moved down hugging his wife's slender waist to get closer to him.

Tama's breath swept across Kinara's face. Tama slightly tilted her head and slowly slashed the distance of her face with Kinara's face. He looked at the pink lips that had been teasing him ever since. However, just as Tama wanted to land her lips there, Kinara suddenly covered her mouth with a palm.

Kinara shook her head and it made Tama's forehead link up looking at her with question marks.
