Ch 199's. Blood Oath
"What do you offer?" Asked Ren Yuu.
The woman froze because she did not know what to give Ren Yuu in return. He knew it was impossible to catch Ren Yuu at the speed that Ren Yuu had used before.
Seeing that the woman did not know what to answer, Ren Yuu immediately offered a suitable reward. "You have to keep me alive for at least 500 years. I will help you evolve into the Silver Dragon Queen."
The woman shriveled at Ren Yuu's request. Although it was not for long, it would also not be for a moment if one would be able to reach Immortal Ascension later on.
"How can I trust you that you can help me evolve?" Asked the woman because she still did not believe Ren Yuu's words.
Ren Yuu simply waved his hand and many 10,000 year old herbs floated around him.
The woman was astonished to see the herbs in front of her. But he knew that it would not be enough for him to evolve if he did not find the right herbs.
"I know this won't make you evolve. But, it won't take long for you to accomplish that if you agree to my request." Ren Yuu said with a small smile. The woman in front of him would become extremely powerful one day if it finished its evolution. Even in the Divine Realm he would be feared someday if it managed to evolve.
Ren Yuu had two ways although both of them would be very difficult. The first one was of course making a pill that surpassed a grade 1 Mortal which meant it was a Divine pill. And the second was to find one of the two heaven-defying herbs.
Ren Yuu put aside the second way and focused on the first way. But there is still one more way to make it capable of evolution. That was by finding the Dragon Saint beast core as well as its blood essence.
The woman pondered for a long time about Ren Yuu's offer.
"good. I accepted your offer. But you have to get me out of this place by all means." The woman made a decision.
"Isn't it easy to get out if someone from outside brings you out?" Ren Yuu asked in surprise.
"It's not that easy. I haven't lived long. But, the Beast Race who had lived for quite a long time said that they could not get out of this place because this place was guarded by something." Answer the woman.
Ren Yuu instantly knew who the guard was. It was a Spirit Artifact. If the Artifact has no owner, it is already confirmed that the Spirit Artifact will be the master of that Artifact.
"No problem. I'll figure out a way to get you out. Now it's... Let's make a Blood Oath." Ren Yuu immediately put on a serious face because he did not want to be stabbed in the back.
The woman understands. He would also do that if in Ren Yuu's position. It was impossible to carelessly carry the person by his side without performing the Blood Oath.
"good. Let's do it." The woman did not hesitate one bit.
Then they make intricate patterns on the ground. The content of the agreement is not to hurt each other as long as they have a contract.
Ren Yuu instantly dripped his blood where they performed the Blood Oath. That woman is too.
The patterns shone as the two of them dripped their blood. The intricate patterns then split into two and spread into their bodies.
"Done. From now on you're one of my partners." Ren Yuu said with a small smile as he felt that the woman in front of him would become extremely terrifying one day if it managed to make an evolution.
"Representative?" Inner woman it is. He felt strange Ren Yuu considered him as a partner.
"Xiao Xiao." Xiao Xiao replied.
"Ren Yuu." Ren Yuu also introduced himself then immediately turned around while saying again. "Let's go. There are so many things I want to ask you." This was another thing that made Ren Yuu want to bring Xiao Xiao over because he definitely understood about many things in the Primordial Ark.
Xiao Xiao directly followed Ren Yuu from behind. He was no longer vigilant because he had done the Blood Oath.
Blood Oaths are rarely used because they are very difficult to break. The same was the case with the Soul Oath that Ren Yuu had done with Feng Yin.
When on the way away, Ren Yuu immediately said. "Please tell me all about this place, Xiao Xiao."
Xiao Xiao nodded. "We don't know what this place is. But, in a very old age there was someone who caught many young monster beasts from outside and put them here. We don't know what the purpose is. It was already a common story for all the Beast Race that were here."
"This place is divided into three parts. First is the outside. The second area in and last is the prison." Xiao Xiao explained.
"Jail?" Ren Yuu asked in surprise.
Xiao Xiao nodded then continued. "Any Beast Race that reached Ascension would be imprisoned by that guard without being able to fight at all."
"Only the Nascent Soul Beast Race down could roam. In the past there had been many Beast Races trying to free all of the Beast Race Ascension to the top in order to defeat that guard."
"And the result was that half the population of the Beast Race here perished." Xiao Xiao said bitterly as he did not know what exactly was the reason they were staying in the place they called a prison.
"Then, about 100,000 years ago, many humans suddenly entered this place every 100 years. But they all hunt us down like cattle." Xiao Xiao was a bit annoyed despite not caring about the other Beast Race.
Ren Yuu could only silently hear that. He had already guessed that this Artifact was made by the first existing cultivator.
The artifacts they made were not the same as Artifacts in general. Most of the Artifacts they made were the same as the Primordial Ark and the Soul Temple. It can't be moved at all. To claim the Artifact would also be extremely difficult.
In the Soul Temple, Ren Yuu did not even know where to claim the Soul Temple. And now this is a much larger Artifact as well as probably one of the strongest Artifacts in the past.
It could be seen only from the Artifact's features. Artifacts that already had Spirit Artifacts were no ordinary Artifacts.
"Then, how many monster beasts and Beast Race are there here?" Asked Ren Yuu.
"The number will not exceed 100,000, every time it reaches the number 100,001, one of the monster beasts or the Beast Race will disappear suddenly. That makes the Beast Race not much of a breed." Xiao Xiao replied.
"This was indeed made intentionally by the individual who made the Artifact." Inner Ren Yuu. He then asked calmly something else.
"Do you know of any special places here that might give someone a good chance?"
"Yes. Come with me." Xiao Xiao replied after pondering for a moment then turned the other way.
Ren Yuu smiled as he would get the harvest later too if there was someone guiding him.
