Ch 77's. Offering Help
Ren Yuu was surprised by the fact and recalled the painting in the old temple. A man on an eel-shaped dragon. Ren Yuu thought it was not a dragon. But, now that Ren Yuu was certain it was a dragon, the Azure Dragon.
But Ren Yuu was at a loss as to why the Azure Dragon was golden in color. After thinking for a while, Ren Yuu smiled and whispered, "God Body Technique."
"All Azure Dragons that were born with Extreme Yang Energy from the God Body Technique manuals would turn into gold. The puzzle has finally been solved" whispered Ren Yuu.
"What?" Cai'Zi shouted in shock at Ren Yuu's whisper and felt he had misheard about the Azure Dragon being born.
Ren Yuu regained his senses due to Cai'Zi's shout. "What's the matter Miss Cai'Zi?"
Ren Yuu was confused as Cai'Zi shouted.
"You said Azure Dragon was born? Where is that?" Cai'zi.
"Ah? Did I say that?" Ren Yuu asked pretended to be confused but inwardly cursed himself for being careless.
Cai'Zi suddenly pouted for the first time and no longer put on a cold, flat face.
Ren Yuu felt funny and chuckled. Seeing Ren Yuu chuckle, Cai'Zi immediately put on a cold face again as usual while glaring at Ren Yuu.
"Is it still a long time?" Ren Yuu asked and looked towards the window.
"It wasn't until 5 minutes," Cai'Zi replied flatly as usual which made Ren Yuu sigh once more.
Glancing at Ren Yuu feeling resigned, Cai'Zi felt comforted always.
Ren Yuu looked towards the window as it would be useless according to him talking to Cai'Zi.
Cai'Zi also just kept silent continuously and did not speak. After 5 minutes of gloomy atmosphere, they finally reached the island. Cai'Zi immediately lowered his transportation equipment to the island.
Ren Yuu was delighted that the gloomy atmosphere inside was finally over.
Cai'Zi was upset that Ren Yuu was happy to land on the island. Cai'Zi wanted to punch Ren Yuu in the face who looked agonized while nearby.
In front of Ren Yuu was a dark island covered by fog. Ren Yuu shriveled as he lazily walked into a place similar to the valley.
Although actually this island looks brighter than the previous valley.
Ren Yuu sighed because he had already come to the small island first. Ren Yuu directly walked towards the island without speaking to Cai'Zi.
"Why is this person so arrogant and unwilling to talk to me?" Cai'Zi complained softly as he walked following Ren Yuu.
Ren Yuu remained vigilant around him. But, Ren Yuu was surprised because there were no monster beasts at all inside the island.
"Are they all in the center of the island? It's strange that there is an island like this" whispered Ren Yuu.
Cai'Zi heard the whisper Ren Yuu also nodded in agreement. It was unusual for an island like this to have no monster beasts at all.
"It's very strange. The trees and plants here are normal. But, why aren't there any monster beasts? Could it..." Cai'Zi stopped and shriveled.
"Could it be what?" Ren Yuu asked curiously.
"It is likely that there was one powerful monster beast and killed all the other monster beasts. Because humans cannot finish off all monster beasts within a month" said Cai'Zi.
"Why is it impossible? I once exterminated 10,000 monster beasts in less than a month," Ren Yuu complained softly as Cai'Zi confirmed that it would be impossible for humans to do that.
Cai'Zi was stunned by Ren Yuu's grievance. Cai'Zi was more surprised by the words of the 10,000 monster beasts. That's not a small amount.
"Is that true?" Tanya Cai'Zi was serious.
"Do I look like I'm lying?" While snorting in annoyance, Ren Yuu instantly quickened his footsteps.
Cai'Zi instantly quickened his pace as well and followed Ren Yuu so as not to fall behind.
When it had been almost 20 minutes they were moving, Ren Yuu and Cai'Zi heard the sounds of fighting.
Ren Yuu directly jumped up the tree to see who was fighting.
In the distance saw a snake with a diameter of 4 meters and a length of about 30 meters. Ren Yuu knew that the snake was at the third Tier Gold Core at the very least.
The snake was as pitch-black as metal. Ren Yuu knew what a monster beast it was.
"Black Ouroboros" whispered Ren Yuu.
Cai'Zi also jumped up next to Ren Yuu and saw the fight.
"What's that switch? It was never seen at all," Cai'Zi carefully looked at the snake and could not remember what monster beast was fighting in the distance.
"That's the Black Ouroboros. An extinct snake-type monster. Many of the Black Ouroboros reached the Nascent Soul Tier in the past," Ren Yuu explained.
"Where do you know about that?" Cai'Zi looked at Ren Yuu suspiciously.
"Do I need to explain where I get my knowledge from? Then I will explain in detail my life from birth until now," the flat face that Ren Yuu put on was just a display. Anyone knew that Ren Yuu was upset that someone was trying to extract information from him.
Cai'Zi wanted to laugh but held it back and kept a cold face. "I'm not interested."
"Good then." Ren Yuu looked towards the fight again.
"There were nine cultivators and eight Tier Core Formation ninth stage as well as one stage eight. It was likely that some of them were Half Step Gold Core," Inner Ren Yuu and looked at their emblem for a moment.
Upon seeing that, Ren Yuu said coldly, "i hope they all perish."
Cai'Zi looked directly at Ren Yuu with a meaningful gaze. Don't know what he's thinking right now.
Ren Yuu glanced at Cai'Zi at a glance and looked towards the fight again.
Those nine people were members of the Sword Heaven sect. It was likely that some of them were Elders.
"Once they finish fighting, I will slaughter them all," Ren Yuu let out a strong bloodlust for hating the Sword Heaven sect so much as the Heavenly Court sect as well as the Black Hand Family.
"You will be killed by all of them if you are alone" said Cai'Zi coldly as usual.
Ren Yuu was not satisfied with Cai'Zi's words. But it was true what he said. If it were all eighth-stage Tier Core Formation, it would be possible for him to annihilate all of them. But with the enemy ranks ahead, it would not be possible.
"I might be able to kill half of them but I have to pay a heavy price," Inner Ren Yuu.
Seeing Ren Yuu being annoyed at him, Cai'Zi offered help. "Okay, I'll help you this time."
Ren Yuu was stunned to hear it and looked towards Cai'Zi to confirm whether the woman next to him was joking or not.
"Why do you want to help me?" Ren Yuu grew suspicious of Cai'Zi.
Seeing Ren Yuu's gaze, Cai'Zi panicked a little inside and did not know how to explain.
"I'm just offering help this time," Cai'Zi said coldly as he turned his gaze to the fight again.
"What's wrong with this girl?" Inner Ren Yuu and increasingly confused with Cai'Zi's attitude.
Ren Yuu simply ignored him and shook his head then looked towards the battle again.
