‘They are why there is no progress at all anyway! Though it was someone else's toy snake,’ Inner Kiara grumbled.

“Toy switch? But here..”.

‘Did this one boy forget his friend?’ Kiara propped up her chin, she glanced at the flower that was still half left. ‘Hah... would you like me to do what the rest of these flowers are? If wasted. Huh, that's very unfortunate.’

Suddenly, Taylor looked up.

Kiara who saw it immediately stood up but accidentally slipped her legs and fell from the tree. ‘Aww...’

“Who is it?!”

Kiara turned to the origin of the voice in panic. ‘Agne, medicine! If he sees me how? If he thinks this is Ran...no, this is Ran!’

“What's up? What if it's an enemy hiding to observe us.”

“M-maybe it's just mango fruit, after all. We are under the mango tree.”

Kiara heard Ran's explanation stammering while standing up and trying not to make any sound.

“How about we just go? I'm still a little traumatized by the toy snake yesterday.”

Not long after, there was the sound of footsteps moving away.

After making sure it was safe, Kiara immediately leaned against the tree and heaved a sigh of relief. ‘Huh... almost, fortunately Ran is quite sensitive and immediately took Taylor away..’ She smiles. ‘But what I did not expect, it turns out that the person Ran liked secretly was Taylor.’ Kiara giggles. ‘I know your weakness now, Ran. You always said you loved Mom but you never listened to me!” Earlene looked at Kiara full of anger, she sighed and held onto Kiara's shoulder with a slightly softened face. “Kiara, I don't mean to limit your movement,” explained Earlene gently. “Mother doesn't just want to see you get hurt like this, much less. In a week your fiance will be visiting and if he sees you like this.”.

“Mother, I told you I don't want to get engaged to her. She was... looked very cruel despite smiling,” muttered Kiara at the end of her sentence while looking away, her hands secretly clenched firmly. ‘He's creepy! She always smiles, but she looks cruel. I even... often imagine seeing it filled with blood... Who is that person really?? He made me tremble with just his aura which felt so dark.’.

“Kiara, you can't say so dear.” Earlene rubbed Kiara's cheeks gently, she looked at the princess affectionately. “Ryu's father is an old friend of yours and they both made promises to marry you both, even more so. The promise was also at the request of the elders, so you can't just cancel it. You don't want to see our family destroyed, do you?”

Kiara looked at Earlene with her mouth open, however. She made no sound, Kiara threw her face away. “I... understand, Mom.”

“Both son of mine.” Earlene smiled very sweetly. “You don't have to worry because Ryu will definitely make you happy.”

‘Not that's a problem Mom! Why don't you understand that I'm in a really dangerous position!!’

A week passed quickly, for the past week. Ran did not appear at all and made Kiara's interlocutor disappear, therefore. Kiara could only hold everything in her heart.

“Nona Kiara, Young Master is almost there.”

Kiara stood up from her seat. “Prepare the welcome as best as possible, I will be there soon.”

“I understand,” said the butler from behind the door. ‘Nona Kiara, getting weird.’

“Oh, hay Ryu. It has been a long time since we met.” Kiara forced her smile, she held her own arm with her head slightly lowered and eyes that were unceasingly glancing in any direction.

“Hm? What was? Are you sick? Not usually you don't want to look at me.”

Kiara sank into her daydreams to the point of not hearing Ryu's question, until her name was called several times. He was then aware of his daydream. “Ya?”

“Your face looks very pale, if you are sick. You shouldn't have welcomed me,” Ryu said anxiously, the look on his face looking very worried.

However, in Kiara's eyes. Ryu looked like he was smiling strangely. You should just die and let me be resurrected!

“Kiara? You daydream again.”

“Uhh, I'm fine. I'm just a little unwell.” Kiara turned her eyes the other way. “I'll be fine after the break, how is Turner? Tumben once he didn't come.”

“Oh, about him yes.” Ryu's face suddenly turned cold. “He was.... was training with uncle,” he said with a sweet smile.

Earlene laughed gracefully. “You praise me too much Ryu.” He looked towards Kiara. “Kiara, don't you have to take guests to the room to rest.”

“What? Me? But I-”

“Ok good.” Earlene turned towards Ryu with a sweet smile. “Kiara will take you to guest room.”

“No need to bother Bi, Kiara is not feeling well. Besides I already know the way in this residence, I can go alone.”

“Can't be! You're a guest here, Kiara. Send Ryu to the guest room immediately!”
