“Your homemade meat soup is the best, uncle. Where'd you learn it?” ask Ethelyne while enjoying a bowl of meat soup.
“Hahaha, you're too flattering. This is a recipe my late wife made.”
“Really? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make uncle remember about late uncle's wife.” Ethelyne looked down with a sad face.
The shop owner smiled. “No problem, anyway. My late wife will be glad you praised the recipe, ah yes. Are you new here? I've never seen you.”
Ethelyne nodded in spirit. “Yes, I came to the capital today. Do you know where the inn is good enough?”
The shopkeeper called uncle seemed to be thinking hard. “I remember, if you're looking for a nice cheap inn. You can come to the lodging dandelion.”
“Dandelion accommodation? Where is it?”
“You are pretty straight forward, then turn right and forward again when there is a turn left. After that, you'll find him. You can also ask the people around there, the inn is quite popular among the people.”
Ethelyne smiled sweetly, she stood up and put down ten copper coins. He ran away while waving his hand. “Thank you uncle, I'll come back later.” when I turn right, Ethelyne stops running. He walked leisurely with a flat-faced look covered in a long black robe. ‘This cloak is a little troublesome and oversized, even my hands are invisible. The bottom of the robe also touched the ground.’ Ethelyne lifted up a bit of her robe covering her legs, she walked back in while nagging.
But when he was about to turn left, someone suddenly hit him and made him almost lose his balance. Thankfully, Ethelyne did not fall, but the man he hit fell down.
“Sorry, are you okay?” ethelyne asked as she reached out her hand to help the man stand up.
But arrogantly, the man brushed off Ethelyne's rough hands and stood up by himself. “I don't need your help,” he said cynically.
Ethelyne looked at him confusedly, who stole his attention was a bruised scar on the man's lips as well as cheeks. “Emm, are you okay? I can treat you if you want.”
“Huh, no need. You must have pretended well just for the sake of approaching me right!”
Ethelyne looked at him annoyed. ‘What's this guy's confidence level? I just want to treat it out of pity, you narcissist.’ He's throttling. “Sorry, I don't know you. Sir, I want to treat you solely out of pity.”
“I don't need your pity!” The man left with a smelly face.
Ethelyne just stood in place while watching the man who had started to move away, she shrugged her shoulders indifferently and walked back.
But his steps instantly came to a halt when he saw the six black-clothed men running towards him.
“Nona, did you see a young man with a bruise on his face?”
Ethelyne glanced at them all in turn. ‘What were they chasing after that guy? But why?’
“I don't see,” replied Ethelyne lying.
‘Mati? Can you kill the devil? The Devil had a special resilience and could not be killed by an ordinary, ignorant, inner’ Ethelyne was calm, yet she suddenly became irritated as the man who was strangling her neck looked at her with a strange gaze. “Get your hands off!”
“Hng, what can a weak girl like you do? Better come with us, right?” The man turned his head towards his other companions, he looked back at Ethelyne with a perverted look. “If you can argh!!”
The man immediately cried out in pain as Ethelyne held the hand that choked him and crushed him.
The man immediately moved his hand away from Ethelyne's neck and retreated while holding his crumpled hand. “Fucking girl! How dare you!”
Ethelyne smiled faintly. “Why not dare? Just because I'm a girl, doesn't mean I'm easy to bully.” He took out many silver needles and directly threw them right at the vital point of the black-clothed men, they instantly fell to the ground.
Ethelyne who saw that sighed and smiled faintly, she ruffled her waist. “It seems I should thank Meli who taught me acupuncture forcibly, at least. It can be useful now.” The thin smile on his lips turned into a grin, Ethelyne walked towards the black-clothed men and took all their gold coins.
He stared at the one bag of silver coins in his hand with a satisfied smile. “Good, it seems like I don't need to force myself into front of him.” Ethelyne walked away with a face indifferent. “Thank God that not many people pass by today, if not. I will definitely strip you and hang you up to be seen in public.” He stopped walking. “Low man,” muttered before returning to walk.

A man leaning against the wall while breathing in his hunting, he occasionally looked back and ascertained what those people had been after him. The man breathed a sigh of relief. ‘Thank God they don't come after me anymore, otherwise. I will definitely be forced to return to the palace and study. But, was the girl okay? I don't think the six guards looked like good people. That girl is in danger??’
The man rounded his eyes in surprise, but a second later. He slapped his own face. “Be aware of Zac, why are you even thinking about that girl? If it wasn't for him, you would have been fine by now,” he murmured slowly.
The man named Zachary or more often called Zac took a deep breath and threw it away, there was a slight feeling of guilt when imagining what would happen to the girl. ‘Did I just go back and help her? But if I go back and be found by them, isn't it like seeking my own death? Ugh, what should I do??’
Zachary ruffled his hair in frustration, he was silent for a few minutes until Zachary decided to go back and check on the girl's condition. But when he got to where he and the foreign girl collided, he actually saw the condition of the guards who were chasing him earlier.
Zachary immediately approached one of them. “Hey wake up, what happened? Why are you all unconscious?” he asked while patting the black-clothed man on the cheek.
But the man did not open his eyes, and Zachary stood up and paced. His mind was now filled with the mysterious girl who had earlier asked for help. ‘What happened to him? Where is he? Is she okay? How is he doing?’
Zachary pulled his hair in frustration. “Zac, what happened to you? Why are you even worried about just being a foreign girl? Conscious, aware. You already have a fiancee,” murmured slowly.
“Zac, where have you been? I've been looking for you since!”
Zachary looked back, his face turning flat. “What are you doing here, Aelene?”
