Chapters 126. We've separated

Liliana and Maximilian's divorce was happy news for the royals who had previously hoped Liliana and Duke Geraldine's ouster as supreme power holders were now no longer. Because Liliana will soon be removed from her position.

"Dad, this good news should of course be celebrated!" Julia smiled happily.

"Truely my son, let's celebrate." Duke Norton agreed.

Meanwhile at the palace, Max is seen walking down the hallway to his room. He was intending to talk to Liliana.

The girl is seen with Daisy and Bianca in her room. It was also seen that some of the servants were cleaning up the items in the room.

Everyone saluted when the crown prince came to that room. Liliana also saluted him with a cold face.

"Greetings to your highness the crown prince" Liliana said politely.

Max saw some of Liliana's belongings scattered like they were going to be packed. Max looked at the woman with a frown. "What is this all about, crown princess?" ask Max to Liliana.

"I'm packing" Liliana replied briefly.

Didn't you see that I was packing?.

"Well!" Max hissed annoyed, his lips twisting a cynical smile.

Liliana is packing? Did he really want to leave this palace?

"Everyone, out!" Max said to the person in his room.

They all left after paying their respects to Liliana and Max. Liliana also saluted Max, and he stepped out of there.

"Who said you could go?" Max looked at Liliana's back who was behind him.

Liliana turned around, her face looking expressionless. He looked cold and unexciting as usual. Max's heart hurt to see the look on Liliana's face and gaze on him that looks like he's staring at a stranger.

"Are you calling me, your majesty?" Liliana was formal even without coming face to face with the man who would be the next king.

"You... What are you going to do with all that stuff? Where are you going?" max asked the woman with a troubled heart.

"Why does your majesty ask what you already know the answer to? Do I have to answer it?" liliana asked with a faint smile on her lips. He didn't dare look into Max's eyes, he was afraid that his heart would get hurt again.

"Lilly.."

"Miss Liliana Eissa Geraldine, that's my name. Please call me right," Liliana said as Max said.

Hold Liliana, you can't cry. You must be strong and not look weak.

Max's heart was stunned to get such treatment and speech from Liliana. He held onto Liliana's hand, looking at the woman deeply. "I know you're still upset about our sudden divorce. But you know why I did all that. Now that it's all over and fine, then we can get back together.. Lily I-"

Slowly, Liliana pulled her hand from the man's hand. The restless look united in sadness in Max's eyes as it stared at Liliana.

"Can't be together anymore, your majesty." Liliana looked at the man with a teary look.

"Lily I'm sorry, I know you were angry because of my attitude at the time. I broke off our relationship for a reason, I still love you and will always love you. We can get married again and-"

"Your honor, marriage is not something that can be broken up and put together easily. I'm really angry and sad about what you did to me, but after I thought about it we should have split up."

"Lily.no, don't say that." Max shook his head, he felt guilty towards Liliana.

"Don't tell me how? We're separated, just waiting for the official letter. Everyone knows all that, that this royal crown princess has been divorced by her husband!" Liliana cried heartache.

"Please don't be like this, your majesty. You can't cry because of a woman, you're the next king." Liliana smiled bitterly.

"Lily.give me one more chance. We're not splitting up!" Max begged in tears and held the woman's hand.

"I'm sorry, my majesty" Liliana brushed off Max's hand and opened the door to the room.

Max catches up with Liliana out of the room. Duke Geraldine was already in front of him. "Son, are you ready?" duke Geraldine asked Liliana.

"Yes dad."

Max walks over to Liliana and Duke Geraldine. He held the woman's hand. "Lily, you can't go!"

"Your highness, my daughter has parted ways with you." Duke Geraldine dares to interfere with Max's remarks. He doesn't want his son to get hurt again.

"Duke Geraldine! Although Liliana has divorced me, she is still the crown princess of this land in black and white. So, the crown princess can't leave here."

Duke Geraldine was speechless, Liliana had parted ways with Max, but on the other hand it was true that Liliana was still the crown princess in black on white.
