Chapters 169. The Evil Aiden (Revised)

Max is silent, trying to digest what Brieta says. "Grandma old me-"

"Your highness, hurry after him! Or you'll never get a chance like this again. We'll talk!" Brieta tells Max, asking the man to go after Liliana.

Max sighed, then he went out of the small restaurant to chase after Liliana. Unfortunately, Liliana was no longer there. Until Max finally asks Adrian and Eugene the whereabouts of Liliana. "You people! Did you see the woman I was with out of here?" Max asked the two confidants.

"No, your honor, we-"

"How can you not see it? You've been here since, haven't you?"

"Ehm.actually we went to the next store just now." Adrian answered while scratching behind his ear.

"Well! What are your jobs here? You guys really..quickly find that woman, or you will never forgive me!" Max tells both of his confidants.

"Ba-good, your highness!"

Adrian and Eugene book their bodies with respect to Max. They rush to carry out Max's orders by looking for Liliana around there.

Max doesn't just shut up, he's looking for Liliana. "Lily, where are you? You must not be far from here.I'm sure." Max muttered.

Liliana is not far from there, she goes with Aiden and agrees to an offer to be his assistant. "So, did you agree to be my personal assistant?"

The girl nodded. "Yes, I agree."

"Well, let's find some lodging around here and then we'll go to Gallahan tomorrow." Aiden smiled happily as his choice agreed to become his personal assistant.

I can't believe that Liliana will get any closer to me after this. You stupid king Gallahan, you've missed a great opportunity with that stupid promise of yours. But, I don't care. The important thing is that I can get what I want, no matter if I have to sacrifice that King Istvan.

"Okay, let's find an inn around here. Eh...but, is master really a king?" Liliana asked who still did not believe Aiden's words.

"You still doubt my identity?" aiden asked as he looked at Liliana warmly and gently as usual.

"Seeing from your face, master is indeed fit to be a king, but-"

"What?"

"It's okay, forget it. We better find a place to rest." Liliana said with a big smile.

When Liliana and Aiden walk side by side, someone pulls Liliana's hand and makes the girl turn her body "Ahh! Who-" Liliana's eyes widened when she saw Max there.

"You-follow me!"

The girl brushed off the hand of Max holding her. He was still angry at the man who said he would never see him again. "What are you doing?!" Liliana tries to get herself off Max.

"No! You have to come with me!"

"You said I had to get out of front of you! I won't show up in front of you again!" Liliana shouted furiously.

"Take him off, sir!" Aiden pulls Max out of Liliana's hand. The two men met with sharp glances.

Oh...why did I catch some kind of lightning in the glare of this noble king and gentleman?. Dorman was horrified when Max and Aiden's eyes met sharply.

"Your Majesty, are you here?" Eugene asked as he approached Max.

His majesty? Is she not a member of the royal family or-. Liliana was flabbergasted that Max had been called noble by Eugene.

Max did not answer even ignoring the call from Eugene. He held Liliana's hand again for the second time. And again Aiden interfered. "Miss Liliana, let's go!"

"No, you have to go with me!" Max looked at Liliana with hope.

"Let go of me! You said you didn't want to see me again!" Liliana brushed off Max's hand again, she was heartbroken by the man's words let alone his fickle attitude and he did not understand.

"Miss Liliana, come on!" Aiden held onto Liliana's hand and the two of them stepped away from there. But suddenly Max hit Aiden from behind until the man fell.

BRUGH!

Eugene, Dorman and Liliana were stunned to see him. Max pulls Aiden's shirt until his body is lifted up. "You! Don't interfere!"

I don't know why I feel like there's something weird about King Aiden's attitude. Something is running in my heart.

"You don't interfere. You heard what he said, right? She doesn't want to see you, do you understand?" Aiden asked, then he pulled Max's hand from his shirt.

"Your Majesty, are you okay?" Ask Dorman.

"Sir, are you hurt?" Liliana asked in dismay at Aiden who had fallen hard enough into the streets near the beach.

"You-ugghh..." Max suddenly fell silent as he was clearly about to hit Aiden. Max held her neck and she felt pain.

Damnit damnit! Why am I feeling this heat again? Why should I relapse now? It's just noon...

Max complained in his heart, apparently the demon seal was active during the day. Usually Max will relapse at night, then why the seal is active now. Secretly Aiden smiled at Max who was holding back the pain and he remembered something.

Shortly after, a black hole accompanied by black light appeared right before Aiden's eyes.

Wush~~

The figure of the Northern demon king appeared with the appearance of a half-snake body. "What did you call me?" Asked the Northern Demon King with a thunderous baritone voice.

"I want to ask you, demon lord!" Aiden looked at the demon king fearlessly and hesitantly.

"What?"

"About Liliana"

The Northern demon lord was stifled to hear Aiden's reply who wanted to know about Liliana. "What do you want to know about him? Didn't you get what you wanted?"

"I want to ask, is it possible that someday Liliana will come back to remember all her past?"

"Cannot be. He won't be able to because King Istvan is already bound by a promise with me, forever he won't be able to remember the past."

Aiden smiled smirk, he stroked his chest, sighing with relief. Then she could calm down because Liliana might not be able to remember the past anymore. "Then about the seal how? I wonder how when the seal was you and how it exploded."

"King Gallahan, why are you asking about king Istvan? Isn't what's important to you is that woman?"

"Jawab only!" Aiden said by affirming.

I mustn't miss out on anything that could make Liana go back to her ex-husband.

The Northern demon king smiled, then he explained the signs when the seal that was inside Max's body relapsed. Max will feel pain, his body is hot especially the head and neck as if burned, and within a few minutes he will turn into a figure like himself. A half-snake man thirsts for blood and will not be satisfied before drinking human blood.

"Then, what makes him able to return to being a full human being or escape from the seal?" ask Aiden curiously.

"The blood of the woman he loved so much was the cure,"

Aiden looked at the demon lord sharply, a look of uneasiness on his face. "What he's been-"

"He did not know this and although he did know, he would never sacrifice a loved woman for his recovery. You take it easy, you just need to move forward and don't hesitate."

"So I'm nervous! Why don't you just kill him?"

Aiden is very selfish. He did not want any little barrier child in his relationship with Liliana who was currently wanting him to start. So, maybe death for the man Liana loved would make her way even wider.

"He can't be killed because in his blood is flowing demon blood!"

"WHAT? This is impossible, as far as I've been in the past, it's just Lucifer who-ahhh..." Aiden doesn't know what else to say.

"Your honorable King Gallahan, maybe the woman lost her memory but she doesn't mean she lost her feelings." Seringai was seen in the lips of the Northern Demon King.

After saying those words to Aiden, the demon just disappeared. Aiden was stunned, the words of memory loss did not mean loss of feeling really disturbed his mind.

Seeing Max in pain, Liliana who was angry turned into pity and could not bear to see Max like that. He shook off Aiden's hand, which was holding his hand. A look of disappointment on Aiden's face as Liliana brushed off his hand and approached Max anxiously.

"Sir..are you okay?" Liliana looked at Max anxiously.

She was exactly like that night, was she seriously ill?

"Your majesty..Is your majesty okay?" adrian and Eugene's hands were anxious for their royal crown prince.

Max kept grunting in pain, he wanted to get out of there right then and there. However, he did not want to lose Liliana again. Meanwhile Aiden looked at Liliana and Max with a gaze filled with jealous flames.

Then, it struck the words of the Northern demon lord to him last night. That, "Maybe the woman lost her memory but that doesn't mean she lost her feelings."

"Miss Liliana, let's go!"

"Sorry Mr. Aiden, I can't leave him like this." Liliana refused the invitation to go with him, it was clear the reason was Max.

I don't know why I can't see this guy in pain.

Liliana's heart was heavy on Max who was currently in pain. Max held Liliana's hand and hugged the girl. "Ughh.do not per-gi..."

"Well, I'm not leaving!" Said Liliana who returned Max's embrace. Liliana became familiar as she felt Max's hot body. "Sorry.we must take Mr. Maximilian to safety first!"

"We're looking for lodging around here, I'll show you!" Said Aiden chimed in. He didn't want to let Liliana and Max be alone.

After what I did, I can't possibly let you guys get back together.

Without saying much, Liliana and Aiden took the sick Max to an inn. Max's body was like it was on fire and he immediately turned into his sinister form. "Sir.I'll get you a cold compress!"

"Let me, you stay!" Aiden bit his lower lip. He is anxious to see Liliana who cares so much for Max, but Liliana is lost in memory.

Aiden left the room in a fit of annoyance. Though she's actually unwilling to leave Max and Liliana alone.

"Damn it! Shit!"
