Chapter 50. Clady Group

The night came to reveal himself. The stars began to race shining even though they lost to the moonlight which is much brighter. On the side of the road stood a little boy waiting for his mother.

"Let's go to the playground!" yelled Kanaya who just came out of the apartment building.

The little boy jumped up and down and his sign was very happy. He smiled broadly while holding Kanaya's left hand.

"Wait a minute, Rendy. Does anyone come to the playground at night like this? Does everyone usually go there in the morning?" asked Kanaya who stopped stepping, looking towards her son.

"A lot of it, Ma. Even more children come there because the scenery is more beautiful at night" said Rendy assured Kanaya.

"Oh, I just found out. Then, we go there now" Kanaya said with a fiery spirit.

Once there, Kanaya and Rendy could only stand up and be silent. No one was there except Rendy and Kanaya. "Say many people, where are all these people?" kanaya said with a glance at Rendy who was confused.

"So, you may have eaten a ghost" replied Rendy.

"Rendy, are you lying?" said Kanaya who was facing perfectly towards Rendy while folding both her hands asking for an explanation.

"No, I'm not lying" said Rendy who instead imitated Kanaya's style.

"All right, it's up to you. Now play alone in this park and I'll sit in a chair" said Kanaya, who was lazy to argue with her son. He chose not to extend his problems with Rendy.

"Thank you, Ma" said Rendy, who ran up the swing and skated on the playground. Rendy tried one by one with a happy face. Kanaya shoots Rendy's behavior, sending Rendy's photo to her status.

"Mother must be happy to see her granddaughter being able to act like a child as well. I'll prove that I'm a lot older than Rendy" Kanaya said.

While engrossed in playing, Rendy gets a call from the police officer who handles the kidnapping case with Rani's grandmother. Rendy quickly picked up while walking away from Kanaya so that Kanaya would not listen to what Rendy was talking about.

"Yes, sir? Is there another problem?" asked Rendy in a slow voice.

"Oh, that. There is a slight problem." replied the police officer who sounded hesitant.

"What problems? Please explain, I don't have much time" said the curious Rendy.

"We have arrested the two men after receiving evidence of cctv footage from a nearby store at the scene. However, the suspect's brother suddenly came and asked his sister to be released. He's the one who's going to be responsible for the problems that's plaguing his sister." the police explained, leaving Rendy confused.

"Who is he and who's the sister you mean?" ask Rendy who doesn't understand.

"He was from the Clady group and his sister was Friska. He came to pick up his sister here making us unable to do anything."

"What do you mean you can't do anything? Isn't the evidence clear that the man was involved in a kidnapping case?" asked Rendy who was astonished. The police easily shut his mouth to fight even though he had evidence that could make him arrest Friska.

"We know the evidence, but the suspect rejected all the charges and one of them said he was the perpetrator of all the abductions. So we can only hold one person."

"Well, tomorrow I'll go over there and talk to you guys again" Rendy said, turning off her phone.

Elsewhere, Friska sits opposite her sister. Friska who always dared to talk with her arrogant mouth, is now helpless when faced directly with her brother.

"I told you, you should go home" said the older brother, raising his legs on the table.

"Sorry, brother. I want to prove myself useful enough." replied Friska with a soft eye.

"Ufficiently useful for what?"

"I can also control Gilang to avenge our family to him. Brother can count on me." cried Friska as she shed tears. Staring at her brother's face made Friska unable to hold back her tears from falling.

"You're too weak, your mind is very small. If you're useful enough, it's impossible to let yourself be taken to the police station in such a lowly way. Clady group names can just get tainted. That's the reason why both of our parents prefer to hand over the company's shares to me without having to be divided by you." said Friska's sister with a voice on the press and firmly.

Friska clenched her hands together, she had tried to get this far just to make her brother proud of her, but instead made things worse.

"Now, help me think of a way to get your useless friend out of jail and not ruin our company name. Understood?"

"Yes, brother." said Kanaya in a slow voice.

"Good, you may return to your room." the brother's orders made Friska rise from her seat and walk up the stairs.

"Repot also takes care of the boy, until when does he stop making trouble? Just add to my work." he said while massaging his temple. Friska's sister was so afraid that if this problem leaked to the media, she who had always been kind in front of the media would be in vain if the media to know her sister almost went to jail. The plan that runs smoothly will be chaotic suddenly. The media will not stop finding out his family background which will further corner him and make Bintang group can rival him.

Inside the room, Friska threw all her equipment. All the tools scattered on the floor, even the family photos he threw just like that. "I've always been seen as a lowly child, they don't know what I've done this late. I always tried to make plans to take down the Gilang family, but big brother didn't even give me any praise at all. If he helps me to master Gilang, the problem will go away" said Friska who was upset and venting her anger in her room.

Brakes.. Brakes.. Brakes..

Mirrors, glass windows, decorating tools, everything is broken Friska. Friska could not contain her anger that had reached the crown. He was able to calm down when all the equipment in his room broke.

"That little boy I will kill first. After that Kanaya, the one who had lied to me. He said that his son's father worked out of town just to trick me. And stupidly I believed him. Kanaya is just an ordinary person, I'm much smarter than her" Friska said, staring intently out the window.

As the night progressed, Kanaya and Rendy were already sound asleep on the bed. Suddenly Rendy opened her eyes to think of something. Rendy wakes up and opens her laptop.

"Who is the leader of the Clady group? Why does the name of the company feel familiar to me?" randy said wondering. Rendy also wants to find the answer on the internet.

"The name of the President is kept secret and only certain people know it? Then, what does that person have to do with the attached mother? Why is he interfering?" said Rendy who was getting curious.

Rendy continues typing trying to browse the Clady group and only finds the old president of the company who died in an accident. Not only that, Rendy also found information that the old president had two children who were kept secret.

"The Mystery of this Clady Group Company. I will find out after taking care of Azal first. Sorry, Lex. I won't let your father out of prison. Either way, he has to stay in jail so he can't bother my family anymore" Rendy said.

Rendy then looked at Kanaya's sleeping face. "Mama took care of me as a child, now it's my turn to keep my mom safe here." Rendy said with a sweet smile.
