Season 2: Opening a New Sheet

Ken continues to accompany Celine who is still unconscious, while Aster and Keanu decide to go home first to take a change of clothes. Ken sat pensively beside Celine's bed, the man leaning over in his sitting position.

He really did not know what Celine was thinking. How could he have braved danger without thinking about his own safety, and the recklessness that Celine was doing certainly made Aster feel extremely guilty.

"Uhhhh," the long groan that came out from between his lips made Ken's attention distracted. He turned his head and found Celine who was already conscious from her stupor. "Ge, where exactly is this?" ask Celine.

The woman swept her gaze in all directions, she felt foreign to her current place, an all-white room with a distinctive, pungent aroma. Could he be in.... the hospital?

"You're aware, how are you feeling? What's uncomfortable?" Celine in droves a few questions by Ken, ascertaining whether she is okay or not.

"My back hurts so much, it's even hard to move." Celine replied, looking up at her face to show that she was really in pain.

"It is better to lie down and do not move much. The doctor said your spine was fractured by the blow, so for a while you'll have to use a wheelchair until you've really improved." Ken.

"Is it that bad?" ask Celine to make sure.

Ken nodded his head. "Yes" and answered briefly.

But it's not a problem for him. Celine had no problem despite the excruciating pain, which meant she had to be in a wheelchair. The important thing is that her mother is safe and well, what I did is certainly not worth the sacrifice that Aster has given her all this time. He just did what a child should do.

Celine was looking for something."Then where are Mama and Papa?" celine asked, she has not seen the trunk of both of their noses.

"They go home first to get you a change of clothes." Answer Ken. "You must be hungry. Before you go home, Mama buys you your favorite food. Want to eat now or later? Need me a bribe?" tawar Ken's.

Celine shook her head. "Later on, I'm not hungry. Ge, thank you for accompanying me here and sorry to trouble you." Celine said regretfully.

Ken shakes. "Not a big deal. You are my sister and my future wife, taking care of you has certainly been my duty. And this time I want to apologize to you for all my bad attitude towards you in the past, to be honest I didn't do it on purpose. I've never hated you at all." Said Ken and made Celine a little surprised.

"You never hated me?" Ken nodded his head. "Then why is your attitude so bad to me? You're always acting a bitch and it's not uncommon for you to make me cry, isn't that hateful?"

Ken shakes. "Even though I have never hated you, although at first I strongly objected to your arrival in the Xiao family, because since there was you the affection and attention they both had to share, they both had to be divided, that's what makes me unprepared. But actually I'm really glad you came, because you're the one who made my dream of having a little sister finally come true." Ken said.

Celine smiled broadly at what Ken was saying. She is relieved, she thinks Ken really hates her, now there is nothing to worry about anymore, her relationship and Ken who since the beginning deteriorated finally improved.

"Ge, we should start now forget the past and open a new page. I don't want any more disagreements between the two of us, we should both be loving each other instead of hostile." Celine said as she clasped Ken's hand.

Ken nodded his head. He raised his hand and placed it on top of Celine's hand that was grasping her fingers. "Yes, okay." Celine smiled broadly. The girl then bursts into Ken's arms, now Celine is more daring to express how she feels about Ken. Especially since their conversation that night.

Meanwhile ..

Aster and Keanu who had just arrived at the hospital looked at the scene with a lot of energy. Eventually Ken actually accepts Celine in their family. Keanu embraced Aster, his big fingers rubbing the woman's arms gently, they looked at each other and a smile appeared at the corner of each lip.

"We'd better get in later, don't bother them." Keanu said and replied to a nod by Aster. They both undo their intention to go inside, they do not want to disturb Ken and Celine and then destroy the beautiful moment they both.

"We'll have dinner first. I was hungry," Celine looked at Keanu, the man nodding his head.

"Alright," Aster could finally feel at ease now, Celine had gone through her critical period and she had also come to a realization from her stupor. Now he can eat quietly. "Where do you want dinner?" ask Keanu.

"At the cafe next to this hospital. Looks like the food there is very good, the proof is that the cafe is always crowded." Celine said and nodded back by Keanu.

Not only Aster was hungry, but Keanu was too. Just like Aster, Keanu also can't calm down before knowing if his daughter is okay. But now the two of them were both calm and there was no need to fear Celine's state anymore.

"Sir Robert, what the fuck are you? Are you planning to kill me?!" ask Bella to investigate.

"Well, it's just Mama's son." daisy smiled broadly at Celine's reply.

Keanu approached Celine and rubbed the brown head with affection. Making a smile on Celine's lips expands widely. "Cheal fast, son. The house feels lonely without any jokes."

"Sure, Pa." He answered while nodding his head.

How lucky Celine is to have such kind and loving foster parents. If only he had not been banished to the orphanage by his own biological mother, perhaps he would have never met Aster and Keanu, it turned out that behind the grief was tucked away an immeasurable happiness. How happy Celine is, cannot be expressed in words.
