Aster sharpens his listener's senses on the sidelines of screams of pain. He's looking for the voice of a magical cat. The vaguely 'stupid' call was heard.
Stupid, miaw!
Tuh, right. His voice appeared again. The tail of his eyes glanced at the few maids that passed through the courtyard. He looked ordinary, not even poking at the deafening scream. Are they deaf?
"Eh?" muttered Aster so one of the maids almost hit him. "Can't you?" He's confused. The waiter seemed to pass through a ghost, but her violet dress was quite shaky which signified that she was a princess. Let alone the waiter greeting, bow down no!
"Can what?" ask Prince.
Aster was aware of the initial goal. He also shook slowly. "Can you give me back my bracelet?"
"It could be, but how could I return someone else's stuff for nothing."
I thought, Inner Aster. A man full of ambition like the First Prince must make good use of people, even though people are small.
"Then say so quickly, the rewards you want."
The First Prince approached the seat placed not far from Aster's position. Only three meters away. While Aster looked at the First Prince who was sitting casually raising one leg. His fingertips tapped on the arm of the chair in a tempo, cribbing something.
Aster hates that look. The staring eyes as if they thought of him as an asset.
"Bring me out."
"Huh? Where's where?"
"I heard your departure schedule to the Floating Palace around the afternoon. It's up to how cleverly you arranged for me to come along."
"What?! Don't want to." Aster looked away.
"I promise I won't be a burden, but my existence can protect you."
"Not yet."
The Fifth Prince massaged the base of the nose. From the beginning, persuading the representatives of the soul daisies did require hard work. "You think the Floating Palace is a place of entertainment where you can have fun?"
As far as the First Prince's understanding through reading the library's books, the Floating Palace was located at the border between the two continents. Plantae and Animalia. Plantae are plant tribes, while Animalia are animal tribes. The most basic difference between the two is, of course, the way of life.
Aster doesn't know anything. That was why, the Magical Cat continued to insult him stupidly. As short as the girl's knowledge, only limited soul representatives were barred from leaving the Palace without orders. So, bringing the First Prince means Aster has to deal with His Majesty the King and the Queen.
Aster bit his lower lip. "First Prince, I apologize. I really can't take you out. Please give me back my bracelet."
"No way," the First Prince chimed in, looking to the side. His acting was exactly imitating Aster who had looked away.
The girl nodded. "Don't joke!"
"i'm serious. You have to take me out, and then I hand over your bracelet. Otherwise .. the woman behind you I'll get rid of. How's it?" That's a crazy proposal.
Aster turned to see the condition of innocent humans. Women with red skin everywhere, especially the former twisting by the stem of the Prince's artificial plant.
"Mr Princess, hisk! To-please me. I didn't hear anything, I didn't see anything, I didn't know anything. Really!"
Another troublesome person appeared. I don't know where the servant thought Aster could help him. He himself was also in trouble!
"Your crying is less harsh. Come on .. cry harder." The First Prince raised his hand towards the servant. His five fingers stretched out, then gripped. The shrill contact on his body further tightened, creating a merciless sound of agony.
The aster closes its ears a second time. The curl from the woman's mouth almost broke the eardrum. However, no one heard the voice asking for help except Aster and the First Prince.
Not so obvious, but Aster caught the transparent wall giving off a blue light. The large dome-shaped wall closed the scope of the three of them as if isolated from the outside world. Since anything inside the dome would not be visible, any sound coming from inside the dome would not be heard coming out, it made sense for the servants to ignore this supernatural situation.
"Prince, are you really going to kill that woman?"
"I'll just kill him if you don't want to help me."
"Then kill it! I'm very upset with your waiter. It's noisy! I don't know why he kept asking me for help, but my life was hard too" he grumbled.
"This child ...." The First Prince was at a loss for words. For the sake of channeling his annoyance, he also cleaned up the waiter slowly. The poisonous plants gave rise to their effects more quickly.
Her skin was blistered, it felt like it was burning. Every surface of his body was giving off a yellow liquid. He screams overheating. The woman's body was fried alive.
Aster stared watching the waiter's drastic change. The symptoms are the same as what Sari experienced.
"Really Prince!" His tone was not acceptable and full of pressure. "First Prince right, the cause of the skin disease that plagued my servant?" Unknowingly, the girl's hand clenched. Tightly held the handle of the food basket, until his knuckles turned white.
When do symptoms start to appear? Aster calculated, about three days since Sari cleaned all the plants with her bare hands. The sap from the trunk must be poisonous.
The First Prince tried to remember. He stroked his chin. "Talking about the private servant, I wonder why he's still alive."
Aster rounded his eyes. "You can't kill him!"
The First Prince was excited again. The servant that Sari often called seemed to mean a lot to Aster. "How about I kill you all?"
"Can't!" shouts Aster in an anxious tone. His chest is up and down. When he heard he would be taken to the Floating Palace. The first person that came to his mind was Sari. Aster wanted to take him to the Floating Palace.
"Well, think again about my wage request. Whether you agree or not, the servant's life is in your hands now." The First Prince smiled with satisfaction.
Aster held his breath. "Give me time to think."
"Hmm," the First Prince got up from the chair, approached Aster, and pulled his small nose. "See you tomorrow, my sister. Dearest."
Passing Aster, the blue light and dome faded away like a bubble. Only then did people see the presence of the man. Several servants shrieked after seeing the corpse behind the Prince's back. Hanging on the tree. It's like suicide.
Aster gulps down hard saliva. He did not want to take the First Prince to the Floating Palace, on the other hand, nor did he want to sacrifice Sari. Hopefully the girl two years older than him is able to last as long as she can.
The promise of meeting is still half an hour away. Before seeing Sari, Aster first decided to go find someone who is an expert in medicine.
"I told a servant about my identity, so he prepared a special pavilion near the garden of the Palace for temporary residence. Don't forget to visit."
The last words of the Fifth Princess were still ringing. Unfortunately, there were many rooms in the special pavilion near the garden of the Palace. Aster walked back and forth from the end of the hallway to the other end. It was puzzled which one room was Cycy and the Fifth Princess.
Aster raised his head. Fifteen feet away, from the neighborhood of the corridor suddenly appeared two servants walking in tandem. They propped up the tray overhead, walking towards where Aster was.
Somehow his hunch said that he should hide. The girl was looking for a safe place. Then, a door at the very end opened slightly. It was dark as if there were no candles in it. Without a second thought, Aster ran to the door and opened it. So open ... red-eyed male figure sitting on the edge of the window.
"Prince Aedes?"
