Vampire Aedes

Vampire Aedes
45. Finally ....

"What's this?" asked the Seventh Prince while casting a flat gaze at the Third Prince. His right hand raised both legs of the chicken that had been tied with straw.

"By-by, of course." The Third Prince smiled. Currently they were in front of the horse carriage and the Third Prince was in charge of delivering up to the gates of the Palace. When they were about to board the carriage, the two of them, Aster and the Seventh Prince, were detained by several bodyguards.

They handed him a chicken bound to his feet. Aster who only saw this immediately sneezed.

"Hatsyis! Me, hatsyi! Fur allergy!" The girl kept sneezing. While stepping back so as not to be near the feathers of chickens flying. If taken into the train will certainly be very disturbing comfort.

One of the horse guards who followed the Seventh Prince's orders said, "Prince, it's best for the chicken to be put under the carriage."

On that advice Aster slightly lowered his head to look under the train. It's like there's empty space. That's enough to tie a chicken down there.

The Seventh Prince stared intently at the chicken. The one who had originally rebelled was now silent. Actually he was eager to break the chicken leg and throw it in the face of the Third Prince.

However, treating gifts from other kingdoms badly was a form of humiliation. The Third Prince accepted the animal because he was still willing to maintain the friendship between kingdoms.

He thrust it into the guard's chest. After being received carefully and tied as fast as possible, Aster and Prince Aedes entered the train.

"Princess Aster, I hope you return to the Flower Palace alive," the Third Prince said rather loudly, as if implying a farewell.

Aster pulled his head out from the side of the train. "Third Prince, I hope that when I return you will become a little more handsome!" annoyed screams.

The Third Prince did not change his face. Always smiling. Inwardly, Aster cursed him. Ugh, smile until sunrise! At that moment it should have been the Third Prince turning into grandfathers.

From the top of the giant wall that surrounds the Palace, someone took off the rope so that the gate in the form of a large wooden board fell and became a bridge for horse carriages to pass through the moat below. Aster can peek at the scenery outside the train which is mostly dark green. The sky is still dark. The sound of horse footsteps. Slowly the cold wind choked his neck.

"Haa, what a cold anj—" He almost cursed in front of the Seventh Prince. The man only raised next to the eyebrows as Aster hugged the body while shivering. "What?" ask Aster who can't stand being the target of the eye.

"I should have asked. What do you mean you suddenly stopped talking as soon as you looked at me?"

Aster turned his eyes. "Well, it's nothing."

Lies. The Seventh Prince knew that the weak girl was cold, but it seemed that he did not dare to complain about the small matter before the Prince. Wh why? It might be because right now there was no one from the Flower Palace who would support him.

Poor alone girl.

Though, it could have been that the Seventh Prince had used his strength to hasten the goal. However, even stronger winds will easily enter. He did not want the girl who was brought to death to freeze. The Seventh Prince's gaze was never separated from Aster's face. Even though the master is uncomfortable, but he doesn't care.

"Don't even look at me?"

Aster really wanted to say those words, but fortunately just wishful thinking. He was worried that the Seventh Prince was emotional and instead threw him directly from the carriage. Kan's funny.

"Besides being immune to pain," the prince said. "What else do you have?"

"Hm." Aster seemed to think. Exiting just like that from the Flower Palace, it turned out that he did not master any abilities. Only the ability to read was obtained for free from the Fifth Prince. But is it really an ability? It doesn't seem too special.

"It seems like nothing," said the Seventh Prince, flat.

Aster responded by laughing awkwardly. Then, he remembered something. "Oh? I can grow daisies!"

"That's all?"

The Seventh Prince snorted in annoyance. "You really need extra protection."

Suddenly, the carriage stopped followed by the horse. The train slightly swayed, but it felt tense because Aster was first riding a horse carriage. The two people inside frowned in confusion. Aster looked at the Seventh Prince who was also staring at him.

"My horse was surprised. Someone's blocking him all of a sudden."

"Y-yes? What if the horse stepped on it? Isn't that person suicidal?"

"Perhaps," the Seventh Prince replied indifferently.

It's a little noisy outside. There was a debate between the horse's controller and the person. Until the guards are in the back down to see what happens. "Your Majesty, a girl insisted on meeting the Thirteenth Princess. He said he was an old friend of the Princess. If the Princess does not want to meet, she will continue to disturb the road. What should we do, Prince?"

"Absolutely. Since he so desperately wants to be trampled to death, you can ignore him and keep driving the horse."

Whahuh?

"Woy! Don't kill anyone recklessly" Aster shouted right at the Seventh Prince's face. The girl turned to hold the man outside. "Wait a minute! You said he was an old friend of mine, right? Let me see it. Maybe there's something he wants to say."

At first, the man was silent. His gaze was fixed on the man in front of Aster as if asking for an opinion. Aster also turned to the highest figure in his position.

Ah, loyal followers only want to hear orders from superiors. Seeing the look in Aster's declining eyes, the Seventh Prince smiled. "According to my people's request."

Alright. He's been claimed as 'my man'. Aster is still embarrassed for giving arbitrary orders while not yet occupying an influential position. However, he was more curious about someone who claimed to be an old friend.

Aster has no memory of this. In fact, after the person was taken to the side of the carriage, Aster stared at the sweaty face underneath without being impressed in the slightest. A gal. Probably his age. Several folds of the forehead appear.

"Who are you?" The question Aster asked was like lightning in broad daylight.

And the girl looked shocked, then smiled bitterly. On the cheeks flowed so many tears. "Liar" he said slowly.

Aster gasped to see the girl sobbing. "You're-you're okay? I'm asking, is there nothing you want to say? Maybe I can help."

Her tears are getting bigger. Why is she crying instead of answering? Is my tone wrong? Aster wondered in his heart.

"Do you know him?"

Aster looked quickly. "No? That's why I asked him who, but he cried."

"Oh." The Seventh Prince stared at the girl outside the carriage. "Maybe you didn't hear it, but he just said you were a liar."

"What?"

"Mr Princess," said the guard. "It looks like he's a slave who ran away from the market. At his feet are marks."

Then Aster lowers attention to the ankle in question. Although faint, it can look circular red marks.

"Do you know Vanessa?"
